This week, the FBI raided the Florida home of former President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. They based their raid on the purported rationale that they suspected Trump of having mishandled classified information, taking home materials meant for the National Archives: according to The New York Times, the search “appeared to be focused on material that Mr. Trump had brought with him to Mar-a-Lago… Those boxes contained many pages of classified documents.” Trump quickly responded with outrage: “After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. They even broke into my safe!”
We have not yet seen the warrant for the raid, the warrant application or the underlying evidence; presumably, the head of the FBI and the head of the Department of Justice, Attorney General Merrick Garland, would have had to sign off on the raid. And, to put it mildly, the basis for such a raid — a raid authorized by a current presidential administration on the leader of the prior administration and front-runner for the nomination in 2024 — seems extraordinarily weak. In 2015, former Clinton national security adviser Sandy Berger only received a misdemeanor charge for stuffing classified documents down his pants; in 2016, the FBI investigated Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified emails but certainly never raided her home or offices, despite finding that it was “possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail account,” complete with access to classified information. Trump, by contrast, was president — which means he had plenary authority to declassify any document. Yet it was Trump who was raided.
If the basis for the raid is anything less than bedrock-solid, therefore, the most serious questions of political legitimacy will be on the table. After all, this amounts to the current administration authorizing a raid on the head of the prior administration; it apparently centers on a matter unrelated to events surrounding Jan. 6 and the aftermath of the 2020 election. It seems, on its face, pretextual. We won’t know whether it is or isn’t until we see the underlying documentation. But without the sort of trust the FBI has failed to cultivate over the past few years, the clamor for such documentation will rightly be deafening.
Suspicions are certainly in order, given the behavior of the FBI over the course of the last few years. The FBI spent years running a deep investigation on Trump’s campaign and presidency, based on speculative nonsense compiled by the Clinton campaign in the form of the so-called Steele dossier. FBI Director James Comey seemed to launder that nonsense into the press by presenting Trump with the dossier, despite no evidence that the dossier had any support whatsoever. There is a reason that as of 2018, just 45% of independents and 39% of Republicans said they trusted the FBI most or all of the time.
The FBI raid on Trump could easily be yet another inflection point in the complete breakdown of America’s public institutions. Every “I” must be dotted and “t” crossed — and there must be tangible results. Anything less should and will lead to a political crisis of real magnitude.

We have turned the corner for our own destruction. Madam Pelosi is now the President of the U.S. She has assumed the authority contrary to the U.S. Constitution and American LAW. She now represents this country, the current President is unable to fulfil his duties. That has become a fact. Politics have turned into political hackers and maintain control as a Party. The so-called Legal system, In this Case. The D.O.J has turned the F.B.I. into the new (GESTAPO). That was the term used during the World War II era.

To put it in simplest focus. The Constitutional Rights seem to appear to have been violated against Trump by the governance of those pledged to protect it … for all citizens. And we all know that at the heart of the break-in to Trumps home is a partisan panic to get something to savage Trump come future elections. The DemocRat Party knows that the public is aware that Trump was denied his second term as POTUS by a RIGGED ELECTION after harassing him with phony claims of sexual misconduct prepared with gross lies and paid for by partisan opposition. And to this day, still don’t understand the basis for the attempt to impeach him mainly because they could try, and the media would eat it up like a child would eat candy. To say it disgusts me is putting it mildly. I will never believe in the integrity of the DemocRat party or its members in my lifetime.
Another example of the extent to which the democrats will go to destroy someone. If President Trump now, how about the rest of us later? Guess I’m going to have to go to AMAC’s website to read their articles. Seems they got tired of my complaints about them monitoring our comments and have blocked me from these articles through the emails they send me. Yes, I was quite direct about having my comments, ‘waiting for approval.’ Sometimes it took me 20 to 30 minutes to type a comment; then they would hold it for waiting approval. That usually takes a couple days. It was very irritating. I felt what I had to say was important, and the way they set up monitoring, it was not necessary. We are mature adults and can decide for ourselves what we deem foul or suspicious to report on our own.
Anyhow, I’m still a paying member and the only response I received was from Messenger that stated they were doing some updates and working on fixing some problems with them. If that is true, how come you all are still able to access these articles? Well, I hope I’m wrong, and they fix the situation with their updates. Has this happened to anyone else?
Ok, now, in my opinion, Communist China has taken over this country. Raiding President Trump’s home is only the beginning. I’m sure he has the best lawyers working on this, but our entire judicial system is corrupted. Even in our states justice systems the Communists are against God and Christianity and everything that is good and the truth. And doing this to President Trump, we’ll be next! With Militerizing the IRS, this is too scary!! Love your children and grandchildren as much as you can and tell them their only hope is in Jesus Christ and they need to believe and trust in him, even if they can’t see him, he can see them! The states of the US have to call for a Convention of States. Our federal government has gone rogue with corruption and bloat, persecuting conservatives and treating them as second class citizens who now have no judicial recourse and are not allowed to exercise their God given rights and liberties stated in our Constitution and Bill of rights. The States have to take back control of our Country.
This is merely a last minute rig the 2022 vote manuver as the dems now know the Jan 6 committee has nothing requiring yet again another get rid of Trump effort. This, I believe, is attempt #9.

The article says “suspected.” It takes more than suspicion to warrant trampling on a citizens rights. But most people know that it was merely an intrusion on Trump’s Consitutional rights to find something to use to dosage him in the eyes of American voters.
