This is a salute to all military active and retired. Thank you for your services worldwide. You are not forgotten! And lets not forget their spouses whose job was just as hard when their love ones are forward deployed overseas 6, 8, 12 months at a time.

‘Will You Give This to My Daddy?’
Last week I was in Atlanta, Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.
Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.
When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I’m not alone. I’m not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families.
Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.
Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said ‘hi…’
The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her…
The young soldier, who didn’t look any older than maybe 22 himself, said he would try and what did she want to give to her daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.
The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter’s name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Marine and had been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up.
When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second… Then one of the other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it..
After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, ‘I spoke to your daddy and he told me to give this to you.’ He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying ‘your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon.’
The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event.
As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around, there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in one last act of selflessness turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek.
We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it’s good to be an American.
RED FRIDAYS —– Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the ‘silent majority’. We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers.
Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday – and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something red.
By word of mouth, press, TV — let’s make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers.
If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the USA is covered in RED.
The first thing a soldier says when asked ‘What can we do to make things better for you?’ is we need your support and your prayers.
Let’s get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example.

To those who lament the sad state of affairs we have, thanks to our existing office holders; if you did not go out and vote last November, then you have no right to complain. If on the other hand, you did vote, but voted for the current bunch of crooks, I hope you enjoy your just rewards. If you did vote and voted against those who won, next election, make a point to vote and get out at least one other person who agrees with you to the polls to vote.
Apathy allowed these crooks to win and they may not have even had to stuff the ballot box last November to do it.
I proudly wore a Chiefs hat and served 30 years in defense of my country. I would agree that my wife had a harder job than I did. You see we have 3 daughters and “Daddy” was gone most of the time. She had to be both father & mother to them while I was deployed for 7-8 mos at a time, and even when I was “home” we still spent a lot of time at sea doing “work-ups” to get ready for those deployments. Many Americans don’t understand the cycle that a Navy ship goes through just to get ready to deploy to the western pacific, Indian ocean, or the gulf. I served 42 months aboard a Navy frigate and out of those I figured I was maybe home 7 months. So you see the wife has probably the hardest job of all. I thank my wife for staying by my side throughout my Navy career. I wouldn’t trade any of it, even the hard times. To those who are currently serving and to those who have served in years past I say THANK YOU!
PRAISE GOD!.. for HE is truly working in the hearts of the American people…as there is a ‘definite’ flow of HIS SPIRIT reaching all parts of this world, today! This is so evident in the ‘transformation’ from the ‘human love’ toward the Agape Love, which ‘perfects’ every thought, word , deed, in ‘all’ of His Creation, that is of His Image! As we ‘search’ in the Scriptures, toward honoring God’s Precepts, we gain strength, comfort, understanding, knowledge, peace, direction, wisdom, and power to ‘love’ as HE loves….seeing what ‘God sees’ in each person…enabling us to ‘forgive’…reaching out to each other as Christ did while walking this earth! We must not only ‘pray’, but we must trust and ‘obey’ God’s Holy Words, in every situation and circumstance that we find ourselves facing! Standing ‘firm’..upholding the many ‘blessings’ that has already been given to our UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Let’s ‘keep’ the *Supreme Being’s* *Light* …*Glowing*…showing throughout our actions, in every way toward one another! The ‘healing’ of souls…spiritually, and physically will ‘enlighten’ our burdens, as the Lord will show ‘favor’ on us abundantly! In Christ,~~~Karen Rose~~~
My father sired seven sons, six of which wore a uniform of this nation – Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force. The youngest son’s possible service time fell between major conflict and had serious back injury which kept him ou of the military. One died during the conflict to take Oiknawa; another was said to have served in the Philippines; one served on a ship in the Pacific and a brother in Europe. The others served stateside, my brothers are all gone now leaving me the last man standing from our father’s life. SO WHAT?
The ‘WHAT’ is that we were all there to serve our nation from the elitist of European and Asian enslaving their citizens and potentially ours. Now we see the same kind of elitist goals being forced on our nation. This new ruling class who currently serve themselves on our tax dollars are subverting our American Heritage – that’s what. Their sacrifice, and those of many other servicemen and citizens, is a betrayel by the New Order. Why in hell do we need a Marxest or Facist ruruling class (elitist)? If the American public votes these people back in again they must know they are returning themselves to slavery.
I say AMEN to this statement. I want to say I’m not a pessimist, I see American as a shining light used by God to spread the Gospel. I do however believe the Bible. In the last days before Christs return we will see mankind turn to evil in astonishing ways. New Testament, Romans, Ch. 1 . We are so close to that time I sometimes think America IS gone. We can still remember the old glory days of our country. Days when polititions were Statesmen, people who would risk their wealth AND their lives for America. They are gone. We now must stand for our few remaining rights. The rapture IS at hand.

TO ENTER SERVICE WHEN I WAS 13 YEARS OLD, THEY LOOKED AND ME AND LAUGHED. I HAD A COUSIN
WHO DID JOIN WHEN HE WAS 13 AND SERVED FOR THREE YEARS HE WAS LARGER THAN ME AND AMERICA
NEEDED MEN . I RETIRED FROM SERVICE WITH 27 YEARS NEVER WAS IN WAR ZONE. I AM PROUD OF THE MEN AND WOMEN IN MILITARY TODAY AND THEY DESERVE EVERYTHING THEY GET FROM THIS COUNTRY. TOO
MANY WITH NO LEGS OR ARMS AND BAD BURNS. THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DEPEND ON DONATIONS
FORM WOUNDED WARRIORS TO SERVIVE. THIS GOVERNMENT SHOULD GIVE THEM EVERYTHING THEY NEED.
WE NEED TO GET BACK TO GOD , WE ARE DRIFTING AWAY FROM THE THINGS THAT MADE THIS COUNTRY
