Social Security Administration Portal

social security administration portalThe Social Security Administration has released a new wage reporting application within the SSA website’s my Social Security portal that will make it easier for people who receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) to securely report their wages online. This application was created for people who work and receive Disability Insurance benefits.

If you don’t have a login, you can log onto the Social Security Administration website and you will be able to open a my Social Security account. In addition to being able to report wages if you work and receive Disability Insurance benefits, this account allows you to request a replacement Social Security card, get your benefit verification letter, check your benefit and earnings record, and make changes to your address or phone number.

A similar application will be ready in the near future for recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

Even if you do not receive benefits, you can still set up an account for access to check the status of your application (or appeal), request a replacement card, get a benefit verification letter, and get your Social Security Statement to review estimates of your future retirement benefits.
