When Comey offers forgiveness to Hillary’s scandals before the “investigation” concludes, when Comey unabashedly admitted on television that he gave confidential papers to his college buddy, who immediately leaked them, when the FBI/DOJ refuse to see anything wrong with Hillary paying for the scandal she created, when no one thinks there was anything amiss in bugging American citizens…what are we to think?

As a child of the 1960’s, I remember well the silliness of Watergate and Nixon’s resignation. Looking back, it seems pretty tame compared to what we have seen during the Clinton and Obama years.
The federal government has become exactly what the framers tried their best to prevent. We have career politicians – Republican and Democrat – whose sole motivation is re-election voting only for self-interest or the interests of the people who pay to get them elected.
My frustration is that we, as average citizens, have no means to solve these problems. We elect Republicans who make grand promises and then ignore us until it’s time for another election. We give them both houses of Congress and the Presidency, and Trump still has to use executive orders to accomplish anything.
Our country cannot survive open borders, a welfare state and a media so blatantly biased against common sense, the rule of law and all of the traditions that made the United States great.
I guess it is inevitable that a constitutional republic will fail. Humans are just too narcissistic to put the country above their own self-interest. Once people figure out how to “game” the system (e.g. welfare that has been renamed “entitlements”), it’s just a matter of time.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to bring back the people who revolted against King George? I bet they would say we live under much more tyranny than they did even if it is “soft tyranny” as Mark Levin calls it.
One thing we need to do is pass the Fair Tax. This would prevent politicians and large corporations from manipulating the tax code for their benefit and unleash the economic power of the individual and small business. But, the current crop of politicians will never do that because it reduces their power.
We have been duped. Social Security is nothing but a tax. The New Deal just laid the groundwork for the welfare state with no benefit. The Great Society promised to end poverty but has only added to the misery. The Department of Energy produces nothing. The Department of Education presides over nationwide indoctrination.
But, again, what can we do as average citizens other than complain? Voting doesn’t work. Nor does complaining.

Only issue I have with republicans is they have no backbone. The swamp runs deep in both the Dems and republicans. The Rebuplican run government had 2 years to get the wall done and they didn’t even try. Upper management levels of FBI & Justice Department personnel were wrongly targeting candidate, President-elect and then President Trump with a variety of “bogus” investigations because they feared that their positions & power would be jeapordized should Mr. Trump be elected. When he was indeed elected those people intensified their efforts to attempt to disrespect President Trump. Both FBI & Justice Department personnel who were involved need to be charged, adjudicated and jailed if found guilty. Our Country’s justice system will be permanently “stained” if that process is not completed.

It’s alarming how politicalized the FBI, the Justice Department, ICE and several other Federal agencies have become over the last couple of decades, to the extent that, I don’t see them being able to fairly and equitably do their job, for their employers, “We the People !” There is a significant amount of evidence more available today than before, that points to the fact of, just how political, how anti-Trump, some of their work has been, which is dangerous to our Republic, and the constitution it was established upon. These career professionals are supposed to be there to do what is lawful and correct under our constitution; they are not called to let their personal and political beliefs taint, influence or guide their work, whether they are liberal, conservative or politically neutral.
I think it’s true in Washington and in much of government today that a large percentage of those “career professionals” are no longer there to serve the country they supposedly chose to serve, but rather, are there to line their own pockets, at the expense of all of us! That’s true, to the point that the word, Civil Servant, is hardly ever used today! We, the silent majority, bare part of that blame, because we haven’t been more involved in our own country’s legislative and judicial decisions and direction. We have become reactors instead of being actively involved in all those processes we could be a part of. I believe that has helped bring us to the point we find ourselves, sadly so! If, we become more involved right now, beginning today, and again begin holding our legislators and judges accountalbe when they cross over the line, if we make it clear we will hold them to task when they take away, violate or trample on our freedoms, our constitutional rights, or make it clear that they DO NOT know better than the “ignorant, uninformed populace” they are pledged to protect and serve, we can impact and help our great country be the “good influence” it has been for many years now around the world. When those with power violate the sacred trust we have provided, we should make sure they are removed from their position, be it political, or that of a career professional. Flor severaldecades now, as citizens, we have given up much of our own influence and control that our constitution provides, so much so, we are slowly, almost unperceptively, losing what has made us such a unique experiment in freedom, in the fist place.
As a financial and retirement planning specialist, I get to know most of my clients really well, as we work collaboratively to accomplish their income, retirement and estate planning goals, meeting regularly with many of them and their families, often several times a year. Working so closely with them, also affords me the opportunity to get to learn about their political persuasion. I’m keenly aware that many of them are of the same mindset I am, a conservative, a constitutionalist. There are those that are not, and in fact, are liberal in their political positions. Almost without exception, I believe these families love America and are thankful they’re a citizen. Conservative or liberal, many express their great concern over what they see occurring by so many in elected and appointed positions. They tell me that they see many taking advantage of the great country and the citizens that put them there. We the People must become more involved in civil discourse and helping protect our Great Republic from those inside and without that would harm her!

The FBI should be abolished. Any one responsible for wiping the phones of Lisa Page & Strok should be put behind bars. For tampering with the evidence of “an ongoing investigation” as Comey likes to say. When he doesn’t answer questions or “can’t remember” what happened. Comey should be behind bars too for leaking evidence. The whole agency has become politically corrupted and dangerous. These people should be the poster children for the 2nd amendment. Our founding fathers were either brilliant or incredibly clairvoyant. Were they not? Un-elected government officials can break down your doors, arrest you & your family, confiscate your belongings & put you in the “Gulag” all in the name of the law. Upper management levels of FBI & Justice Department personnel were wrongly targeting candidate, President-elect and then President Trump with a variety of “bogus” investigations because they feared that their positions & power would be jeapordized should Mr. Trump be elected. When he was indeed elected those people intensified their efforts to attempt to disrespect President Trump. Both FBI & Justice Department personnel who were involved need to be charged, adjudicated and jailed if found guilty. Our Country’s justice system will be permanently “stained” if that process is not completed.

Lets be clear, no mincing of words: This was the Obama Administration who systematically targeted President Trump to attempt to remove him from office. It wasn’t just the FBI, it was also DOJ, CIA and NSA all conspiring to insert fall information and from it develop and launch a false investigation and spy on the President and his team with the intent to remove him from office. The Mueller investigation IS a witch hunt. Nobody wants to use the T word but I will, what they did to President Trump and their failure to prosecute Clinton who committed real crimes is TREASON against the USA and the citizens of the country. PERIOD! My only question is this, when is Huber going to come forward and when are we going to see prosecutions?
Our DOJ under POTUS Obama became so corrupt and deeply involved with corruption that they were bound and determined to destroy Trump…they would then deal with the collateral damage after he was ruined…Clinton was out but protected and so were they. There must be an investigation and those involved, even Obama, need to be punished for their involvement against our Constitution and the order of Law.

It’s alarming how politicalized the FBI, the Justice Department, ICE and several other Federal agencies have become over the last couple of decades, to the extent that, I don’t see them being able to fairly and equitably do their job, for their employers, “We the People !” There is a significant amount of evidence more available today than before, that points to the fact of, just how political, how anti-Trump, some of their work has been, which is dangerous to our Republic, and the constitution it was established upon. These career professionals are supposed to be there to do what is lawful and correct under our constitution; they are not called to let their personal and political beliefs taint, influence or guide their work, whether they are liberal, conservative or politically neutral.
I think it’s true in Washington and in much of government today that a large percentage of those “career professionals” are no longer there to serve the country they supposedly chose to serve, but rather, are there to line their own pockets, at the expense of all of us! That’s true, to the point that the word, Civil Servant, is hardly ever used today! We, the silent majority, bare part of that blame, because we haven’t been more involved in our own country’s legislative and judicial decisions and direction. We have become reactors instead of being actively involved in all those processes we could be a part of. I believe that has helped bring us to the point we find ourselves, sadly so! If, we become more involved right now, beginning today, and again begin holding our legislators and judges accountalbe when they cross over the line, if we make it clear we will hold them to task when they take away, violate or trample on our freedoms, our constitutional rights, or make it clear that they DO NOT know better than the “ignorant, uninformed populace” they are pledged to protect and serve, we can impact and help our great country be the “good influence” it has been for many years now around the world. When those with power violate the sacred trust we have provided, we should make sure they are removed from their position, be it political, or that of a career professional. Flor severaldecades now, as citizens, we have given up much of our own influence and control that our constitution provides, so much so, we are slowly, almost unperceptively, losing what has made us such a unique experiment in freedom, in the fist place.

Almost without exception, I believe these families love America and are thankful they’re a citizen. Conservative or liberal, many express their great concern over what they see occurring by so many in elected and appointed positions. They tell me that they see many taking advantage of the great country and the citizens that put them there. We the People must become more involved in civil discourse and helping protect our Great Republic from those inside and without that would harm her!

I became a Republican (nominal) after 2008 but even during the Nixon administration and the so-called Watergate scandal it became painfully obvious that Democrats had ulterior motives in all their interactions regarding Richard Nixon…et al and all his accomplishments or liabilities.. It was a Crucifixion. I would like to think bi-partisanship is a saving grace of our form of government but there is no across the aisle discussion or consultation..
