I care far less about President Trump’s so-called temperament, than his policies and ability to get them enacted despite the incredible resistance he has faced from the Democrats, the MSM, and many establishment Republicans intent on preserving the progressive status quo. Results are what matter, as they are what we have to live with. Pretty, polite speeches that are NOT followed up by actions to get results are just so much useless hot air. Most people on our side of the political spectrum are frankly sick and tired of the typical pretty speech politicans, who do nothing to fulfill their campaign promises.
I far more prefer a direct and, perhaps to some, a somewhat abrasive President, that is committed to delivering on his campaign promises, than the typical smooth talking, overly PC politician that quickly discards ALL his or her campaign promises as soon as he or she is elected to office. That is a nice way of saying I prefer an honest businessman, who is used to delivering on verbal commitments, over the typical politician who does nothing but routinely lie to voters every few years to get re-elected.

I was surprised when President Trump actually began doing what he had promised. What an unexpected and novel idea! Imagine a politician actually making a list and then taking steps to successfully complete every promise. I am interested in results. If people’s feelings are hurt because they are so entrenched in political correctness that the truth is hard to hear —— I don’t care. I believe in the truth, and I will follow and support any leader —— no matter how abrasive- —–who believes in and supports our nation’s founding documents. President Trump has exposed the insidious evils of the Left with his comments. Who ever heard of “fake news” before the President bluntly pointed out the obvious biases, omissions, and distortions in the media. We know he is taking the nation in the right direction when the Democrat Left is perpetually offended.

I think most Americans would be very surprised how much President Trump is like several of our earlier Presidents … Before massive communications came into play. In reading about the first Presidents … They were a very opinionated group of men. The one that does come to mind, that President Trump may be more like … Is President Andrew Jackson, who was quite outspoken on many issues.

The DC Swamp is a total loss to the purpose of our nation. Corruption abounds and the truth has never been harder to find. The Marxist liberals and the RINOs (really Dems in Republican clothing) have destroyed my confidence in government…not that I have had much since the 1980’s. Trump has been refreshing because he doesn’t much care about the fakery in Congress, the media or the Swamp. I don’t care for some of his policies, but at this point it doesn’t matter. We are probably going to get Witch Hillary after Trump or perhaps something worse, if that’s possible. You see, after Trump, there isn’t much remaining to vote for that will make any difference. Sad, but true. Unless a very strong 3rd party evolves, and I don’t mean the Tea Party, we will continue to get the same old crap from politicians and this country will continue on towards its demise as we know it in the mid 2030’s. When things get this bad in DC, the only alternative is a crash and burn and a total revival based on the what the Founding Fathers designed for us. Perhaps not quite as exact, but far closer to that than where we have drifted now. Politicians do not require any kind of qualifications which is why we have people running the country who couldn’t run a lemonade stand properly…they are all me first and the country last. That is why first and foremost we need term limits for all of DC, even judges. At least Trump is not a politician in the true sense, although he sometimes has to act political to try and plow through all the crapola in DC.and Congress.

If President Trump wants to get re- elected, (no matter how good of a job he’s doing) he needs to win over more voters…
he could … if he would stop “personalizing” by name-calling and making 8th grade remarks about people… words like “fat”, “ugly”, “dumb”, “stupid”, horse-face”, etc… he loses a few of his constituents each time he does it. I question my own support of him when he acts like a playground kid when talking about people he doesn’t like (or who don’t like him).

Not all Americans understand the temperament of a New Yorker. As is true with many things a positive trait can come with a liability. In his temperament is his strength to lead and achieve goals, but abilities in diplomatic communications can be less refined.
We love to have it all but rarely do.

Many people many not remember, but Donald Trump was also a Presidential candidate back in 2000, but he eventually dropped out of the race. As a result I felt that he was not a serious candidate, and his participation was nothing more than a publicity stunt. When he ran again in 2016, I was highly skeptical and not in favor of a possible President Trump even if he won. Thankfully Mr. Trump has proven me wrong by winning the White House and actually following through on the promises he made to all of us from appointing Constitutional Supreme Court Justices, rescinding and renegotiating Obama era and outdated treaties, lowering tax rates, caring for America’s service members and veterans, and keeping jobs where they belong among many others. Despite the recent stock market correction, Mr. Trump has also had a positive impact on most peoples individual retirement accounts since his election.
As far as temperament, I feel that Mr. Trump is the right man in the right place at the right time, and I could care less about the self serving pansy assed politicians, Socialist wanna be’s and talking heads who dislike him personally, disagree with his policies or who lick their wounds when he hurts their feelings. Our governing elite have become too overly sensitive for my liking. Political correctness in this country is going to be the death of us. The left in this country cares about nothing but selling us out, giving away what they can’t sell and pitting one group of Americans against another. There is no more working across the aisle in Washington DC, unless it’s the Republicans conceding to the left. It probably takes more than a little brashness to survive and overcome in that environment. If the heat’s too hot in the kitchen, get the h*** out and allow the President to do what “We The People” elected him to do.
This President won the White House fare and square, and against all odds. He may be a little abrasive to the people who are hell bent on destroying him, but he’s a breath of fresh air. The Democrats were against him in lock step, as well as the entire MSM and many in his own Republican Party. Mr. Trump won the White House owing allegiance to nobody but the American people. It’s about time the United States of America had somebody in the White House who does not have debts to pay to lobbyists and large donors before accomplishing the work of the nation.
This President for once is placing our nation and the American People first. Anybody who thinks that any other world leader would do anything different for their own country is a fool. How is it that the United States of America became the punching bag for every third world dictatorship, socialist and liberal countries in the world? It wasn’t because their leadership or our own politicians gave a damn about us. Mr. Trump may be blunt, and he may not be a very likable person, but he does seem to genuinely care about the future and well being of our country.

He is the best president ever!! I’m in awe of what he has been able to accomplish despite more opposition than any other POTUS. I owe him an apology…. I was not too happy when he announced his candidacy for the race, but I am sure very relieved and pleased that he won ! And while his Twitter comments can be a bit distracting, I believe everything he does is calculated, intentional and results-oriented
He is as transparent as can be. I’m not sure any of us could stand up to a clear window into our inner thought processes. That said, I wish he would think out loud only among his trusted associates and not broadcast every thought and musing to the world. Despite that, there’s not another I’d trust in that office today.
As I understand it, President Harry Truman was also blunt, to the point and prone to using as they said at the time, salty language. I’d rather someone tell it like it is than someone like Obama who tried the soft sell and meanwhile shoved a knife into your back.
President Trump is doing a great job. Please keep him and his family safe
