I saw on the internet that they played the “black national anthem ” on Thursday nite football. Wonder why folks are tired of the NFL.

I was a complete NFL and NASCAR fan for many years. I will NEVER watch either of them again. Not only are they horribly “woke” (especially the NFL) but they are national distractions meant to take our eyes off of the Marxist/Globalist destruction and takeover of our nation. I’d rather be entertained by watching grass grow.

screw the pro’s. college football is much more fun. Several teams like Georgia, Florida State and Washington would give half the NFL fits. Do not support leagues who will not support our anthem and flag. This country is a mess and we know where it starts at 1600 Pennsylvania

I stopped watching, over the kneeling incident. Gradually started watching again, after a few years, but it simply doesn’t have the same draw, for me. I have better things to turn my attention to, like taking a nap.

NFL pandering has totally turned me off. I believe everyone is equal and should be proud to be an American. However, it’s obvious that’s not always the way it is. Since Obama has further separated us some people do their best to keep the separation continue and grow. Kneeling during the real National Anthem spits in the face of the great American’s who fought for our greatness and does nothing to heal our country.

The kneeling was the end of it for me. There is only one national anthem. I will never go see a game in person ever again. What an insult to Americans who lost their lives to protect our country and constitution.

I resent the fact that they (the left) took spectator sports, which millions enjoyed watched for fun and recreation, and ruined it by shoving their political agenda down our throats. It is pure communism and it makes me sick.

I will always stand for my flag and only kneel for my God. The NFL has disrespected both and supports the communist Chinese. They have let us know that we don’t matter as much as pay day. National Football league? What nation is that?

Haven’t watched professional sports since they all decided to go to the dark side supporting BLM, LGBT and whatever other letters I missed, Covid mandates, name changes, and turned their backs on the people that got them where they are. Used to be a diehard Cleveland Browns, Indians and NASCAR fan, no more and don’t miss it a bit!

A bunch of overpaid elitist thugs who are not athletes in any sense of the word. A league just like the NBA…only a few are even close to being what I would consider respectable human beings. Watch the series “Ballers” on HBO…and that pretty much sums it up. The NFL is nothing but a multibillion dollar money making machine using a group of previously underprivileged human beings to do the work at the expense of their bodies. Sound familiar? Why would I waste my time. Haven’t watched seriously in almost 40 years…the last full season I watched was in 1987. So, this kneeling thing didn’t surprise me one bit.

I haven’t watched a game in over 40 years. It’s amazing that most of the players don’t have the guts to stand up for the country that gave them the opportunity to become millionaires. They are a bunch of overpaid, prima donna’s who cannot control their emotions or actions off of the field. If they were “real men,” they would be standing up for America, the only country in the world where they could have the opportunities they have taken advantage of. While I recognize that there is a small group of players who do great things for those less fortunate, I have to vote for “I don’t care one bit for the NFL or its players.”

Other than my team finally looking like a football team, I can’t get too excited about the NFL. Salaries are becoming far too outrageous as are the stupid politics.

I haven’t watched the disgraced steelers since the rats stayed in their tunnel hole during the anthem , followed by kneeling. Why don’t the kneelers give their unused leg to a hero veteran standing on his steel one? I burned everything in a goodby woke nfl ceremony & won’t watch unappreciative disgraced rats again!

They don’t seem to be reforming at all from the woke nonsense. I watched part of the Thursday night offering, joining late, then later learned they again played the Fake National Anthem before that game. We have one and only one national anthem!

Football has become too brutal, and the constant rules changes have sapped the competitive nature of the game. It’s now like 9-year-old soccer: everybody must have the same outcome. Leftist equity under the guise of “fairness.” And the players are more denerates rather than heroes to be emulated. And yes, I see the destruction of the sport to be the results of the hand of diabolical influences. No more for me! And other pro sports as well; they are terrible, wasteful, non-productive and often dangerous. And “betting” and “fantasy leagues.” Harmful.

I am done watching professional sports as all the major sports supported the Black Lives Matter propaganda, and the NFL allowed players to kneel when the National Anthem was played. I actually rooted against the USA women’s soccer team as half the members are America-hating Leftists.

Dear AMAC and the world:
I have always been grateful that my husband who played soccer in east Germany and used to go to the stadium for practice (where hitler thought he was so prominent in the 1936 Olympic games) is so turned off even of the soccer games. In other words I have NEVER been a sports widow. My husband was born in Berlin in 1938 and remembers so much the end of the war. He remembers the russians coming in to Berlin and then he remembers growing up under russian rule in east Germany until the age of 18. He immigrated to this country LEGALLY in the 60’s. I also read all of the newer comments and gave them a plug. Now I have t ask AMAC once again why the IT department has elected to put the comments with the most votes up front of the newest? And why do I still have difficulty getting my comments approved? I am 83+ years old and have lots of experiences working in health care in communist run countries so I have so much to share with others. I so wish you AMAC had other things in the polls to help those useless idiots in this country understand how the “woke” generation has invaded this country. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT COMMUNISTS IN DISGUISE! I have to close now but beware of those who worship the false gods of control, greed and power! Carol

I very rarely watch professional sports for several reasons: Wokeness among the management and players. Behavior on the part of players from terrible to bordering on criminal, during games and in their personal lives. Disrespecting folks by demonstrating their political views.
I went to my grandson’s high school football game last week. No one danced around in the end zone after a score. If I happen to see high lights from an NFL game, I just laugh at the so called men doing some ridiculous dance after a score. Men in sports used to act like men, not children.

I’m done with college and pro sports, college is where the players learn this woke crap. Imagine 100 years ago men disrespecting the flag ( that men and women died defending) what would have happened.

By not watching football on Sunday mornings anymore I have a lot more time to do other things. I’m tired of the left ruining everything it touches. They all need to be rooted out of education, entertainment, sports, politics, beer and every other place Marx doesn’t belong.

I’m a Christian, I don’t worship false gods, like overpaid athletes, most of whom couldn’t put together a coherent sentence if their life depended on it.
I do like seeing a good football or baseball play, a long putt, or the endurance of a Triathalete. I also enjoy those athletes who express gratitude and become great examples of sportsmanship and represent their team well at all times. People like Kurt Warner, and Louis Gonzalez. I have no tolerance for the Meagan Rapino’s of the world.
There’s too much fanaticism. People who live life through someone else and have no life of their own. Get out and do something on your own.

When you take a traditional symbol (football) of what it means to be an American loving citizen and “weaponize” it to mean an “anti America” cause, good people walk away; I’m one of those. Leave politics out of a sacred American tradition or suffer the consequences.

Not only is this sport just a game, but far too many businesses sponsor national sports for political influence and self serving points of view. Having “Black” “Mexico” and other national anthem type “politically” correct activities are not inclusive, they are separatist activities. If you can not support the nation that provides the athletic lifestyle, fame and fortune of these athletes, then get off the TV!!

If you want any entertainment in your life sometimes you have to look beyond the politics. For the most part its not the players but the ownerships. Just like in the country we live in. It’s not the people, its the government that causes problems.

Grown man getting paid over a million dollars playing a game and then crying about it because they do not get enough money is not something want to watch. If everyone stopped watching it for two or three years then the cost of going to the stadium would go way down and the playing may even improve.

NFL – brat political disgruntled self consumed multi millionaires, including the coaches and staff, beating up on each other on a grass field, generally on a Sabbath day. The average salary for an NFL coach is $6 million, according to Forbes. Even a big ten college hired a new coach last year with a contract to pay him a salary of $5 million a year. Are you kidding me, $5 million for a college coach?

I never have been a sports fan. But if I were, after the Marxist junk they’ve pulled I’d have stopped watching or caring. I think if anyone considers themselves a patriot then they should give these sports organizations the Bud Lite treatment.

I love the game of football, but I’m losing interest because of the emphasis on individualism. Pro sports have forgotten that there is no “I” in team. College sports are a little better but there becoming more of a minor league for pro sports with losing the team concept. The individual athlete and business have forgotten that without the team they wouldn’t be a spot on the map. The Team is what allows the individual to excel. one person cannot win a game without all the other team members. Period!

Haven’t heard about the ‘black nat’l anthem’ comment below, but I know now! Makes my decision to boycott the NFL even easier! Folks, they are fixing games. Since Roger Goodell p**s’d us all off with kneeling and fake anthems, he had to do something to make up revenue. IT’S CALLED GAMBLING, AND FIXING OUTCOMES!
Go back and watch the Bengals/KC Cheats game of last year, and you’ll agree with me.(btw, i’m not a Bengals fan)
I’m done with big time cheating & fixing, there’s no point!

After the “black” national anthem was played at this years super bowl I am pretty much done with the nfl. They are endorsing a split nation (see obama). The kneeling incident was the start of the decline.
By the way the no capital letters is for a reason. Show no respect, get no respect!

Yeah, they’re big tough athletes, but they only do it for money. Hardly any would put their lives on the line for our great nation. I think of my fellow veterans who gave it all, and then see those b———- take a knee during our anthem. They have that right, but we have a right to not watch or support their sorry, stupid actions. ____ the whole organization!! Go watch your kids and grandkids play. It’s much more fun and meaningful.
