The only reason the territory of a state or nation needs a wall is either to keep people out or to keep people in. Only a welfare state needs a wall to keep people out. Only a tyrannical state needs a wall to keep people in. Our country should be neither of those. The open border utopia supported by the left doesn’t make any sense even to it’s own political philosophy. Marxism actually discourages allowing anyone and everyone in because doing so dilutes the working class and undermines support for the socialist ideal of worker solidarity and revolution against the wealthy ruling class.
