The self-proclaimed “defenders of democracy” have no problem ditching democracy when it doesn’t align with their socialist agenda. Their lack of common-sense; their hate for America; their hate for the values of the Constitution; and their sneering contempt for we the people, is evident in every word they speak, and every action they take.
They haven’t done anything in decades to advance our nation, or anything that is beneficial for Americans. This group of goons can only wallow in wokeness, and try to force their agenda down our throats by supporting nonsense such as:
· Open borders – allowing the invasion of millions of illegal future voters for their causes
· Green New Steal – which did more to harm the environment, costing trillions $
· Dumbing Down of America – our failing education system (gender studies, CRT, etc.)
· DEI – which has “softened” our military and weaken every aspect of society
· Transgender inclusion – overstepping one’s boundaries; bottom line: mental illness!
· Soros-funded DA’s – no accountability for criminals destroying our cities
· Promoting Anti-family and anti-Christian values
· Supporting murderers like Mangione, but all in on murdering babies in the womb
· Supporting Anti-Sematic protests by siding with heinous Hamas terrorists
· Use any means to gain and wield power – especially through election process by mail-in ballots; unsecure ballot chain-of-custody; third-party voting machines; ballot harvesting; and dirty/fraudulent voter rolls
The above represents only a fraction of the woke stupidity these wackos support. So, how on earth would we expect the Marxist Demon-crats to support anything to enhance voter integrity?

The SAVE Act needs 7 Democrat Senate votes, assuming the usual Republican suspects don’t defect. It stands little chance – but we will know who wants to subvert our electoral process.
Let me be blunt-I do not trust Dem-Marxists to do anything positive for America…EX: Biden destroyed 10% of our Middle Class; 20% of our purchasing power while ushering in millions of welfare sucking illegals.
Perhaps health dept. czar Kennedy should look into the devastating effects of TDS. It’s seems to lead to constant war,constant hate, constant biiiiitching and destruction of private property!

I am saying yes because I believe that God can move on the hearts of those who oppose anything Trump wants and bring them around. This was a mandate of the voters.
That was a rare exhibition of bipartisanship. I fear we will not see the same sentiment in the Senate. Few issues are more critical to a healthy republic than the sanctity of its elections. But, alas, we have few statesmen in Congress anymore—just politicians.
It would benefit the democrats as much as the republicans, to pass the law. But, with the Stage 4 TDS the democrats have, I’m not very hopeful. The democrats want lots of slop in the system so they can get/win votes by any and all means. Lie, cheat, steal and rig – it’s what they do. The democrats want a new USSR: United Socialist States Republic.
Cannot count on democrats to do anything that benefits America.

After reading the comments, I don’t know why everyone calls them democrats when we all know they are really communists.
My concern is the handful of spineless GOP Senators as well as the usual Democrats who are well-controlled by their leadership.

Learned 45 years ago to never vote for a Democrat. That wisdom gained by observation, promises never kept, passing asinine laws, and spewing insatiable nonsense. Nothings changed with them. So no, don’t think there are 8 Dem votes forthcoming.
It’s not “TDS” that will stop Senate Democrats from voting for the SAVE Act. It’s the fact that Democrats WANT illegal immigrants voting in our elections. They WANT the power they will get through this illegal, immoral, and egregious fraud.
The Dems will not pass this because they rely on non citizens to get them elected. They have not done anything positive for Americans in a very long time. I hope more Dems are gone in 2026. MAGA!!

The defenders of democracy have such a severe case of TDS they would vote against their own pay rise if Trump proposed one for them.
Democrats have lost control of the country .They need the illegal votes to get it back. They are terrified that DOGE will trace all this money they have squandered back to their money laundering scheme, and many of them will be in jail.
I still think it’s a good idea to try and pass the bill.
Add showing legal ID when voting to the bill
The Democrats purposely invited illegal aliens into the country to ostensibly swell the Democrats’ voter base. Why would they want to jeopardize this action by demanding proof of citizenship?
I would hope there would begin to be some demoncrats who are beginning to see the futility of the leftist socialist progressive movement within their party. Unfortunately, I don’t see the happening anytime soon. But it really is the fault of the republicans because for so long they have simply refused to fight for what is right. They learned that they could simply voice their opposition but if then vote with the demoncrats they, too, could become millionaires. We need more true commonsense conservatives within the “republican” party.
Sadly, I personally don’t believe that even all of the members who have the “R” beside their names will support it when it comes to the senate… And I honestly don’t understand it, since by the letter of the law, non citizens are already “supposed to be” not allowed to vote in federal elections.

Democrats are so obsessed with Trump the arrangement syndrome and hatred of this country, if Donald Trump signed an executive order to require everyone to join the Democrat Party, Democrats wood find a judge to block it. Democrats can never win if they don’t cheat. If voter ID is required they will never win again
The bottom line is that their party tells them how to think, what to say and how to vote. Democrats are not allowed to vote to represent their constituents or to vote for what is best for the Country or for what is best for the American People. Consequently that is how their party wants to control and rule the American people.
Call or write your senators and tell them to support and vote to pass the SAVE bill.
I did a search for the SAVE Act on Brave server (very secure). Was a bit shocked that in 2+ pages of around 20 results per page, there were only 2-3 NON-negative articles. Two of the three were informative without opinion one way or the other. The third was more obvious in approval.
The ‘negative’ articles dealt more with married women whose name changed so wouldn’t match birth certificate, and/or those people who didn’t have the documents required. In other words, the negative articles were obvious by only looking for potential issues for those requirements that “could” be a stumbling block.
So how many people do not possess their birth certificates (or verifiable records of birth), marriage certificate, passport, or perhaps a military photo ID (even spouses have them)?
Democrats are far too blinded by Power to even consider the rights of the American Citizens to fair and honest voting. All the can see is the possibility of maybe not getting enough legal votes, therefore, they must do all in their power to see to it that they maintain their stance that some people would not be able to prove Citizenship or their right to vote. Most rational people understand that in order to vote you must be a Citizen. Democrats want to count Illegals as well as those residing in Cemeteries as eligible voters.
While the SAVE Act may get 1-3 Democrat votes it is doubtful they can get the 7 needed for passage. Unfortunately Democrats feel that anyone in the World can come into our Country and vote regardless of citizenship. That is how they can get more votes and win elections, via undocumented and illegal migrants wherever they come from….friend or foe. The Democrat Party has become an evil political Party that at times reminds one of some political groups that were in Central Europe prior to them starting WWll. One and the same in many respects. They don’t care about our Constitutional Republic and most of their voters couldn’t even tell you what a Constitutional Republic is!!!
It is amazing how much the progressive left will say to be against protecting voting. Now they are claiming the bill will block women from voting because they can’t get valid Id’s due to having gotten married. They have claimed black people can’t get Id’s because of where they live. They call it an attempt to place a poll tax on voting.They claim too many people don’t drive and therefore don’t have Id’s. The list of reasons they give is long, and ludicrous.
I am already a member. I voted above. I was disappointed. I was hoping the Democrats would be more bipartisan by now. ESP. On voting. But I guess they always need to have that possibility of being able to cheat somehow.
Democrats seem to always vote as a block. It has become hard to believe any Democrat in Congress votes their conscience or the way the majority of their constituents would want them to. Rather they vote as they are told to by the leaders of their party. The margin is just too slim. If Democrats don’t want this bill to pass the Senate, not ONE Democrat will vote with the Republicans.

Yeah but the bill doesn’t go far enough. Voters at the voting places should have to show a drivers license and all drivers license’s nationwide should show U.S. Citizen on them somewhere and made similar to like our $100 bills making those drivers licenses virtually counterfeit proof. On top of those DL’s every legal voter should also have to show a voter registration card, which presented at the polling places can be checked against the registered voting roll records for each U.S. County or Parish.
I think that the bigger problem in the Senate will be the three or four Republicans from Alaska, Maine and Kentucky. They need to get on board, or we will need 11 Dems to get the measure passed! Then it will probably fail on the floor.
This is why all Democrats need cleansed out of every office everywhere. They do nothing but destroy everything they touch. Most of them are all narcissist.
The democrats have spent years claiming that minorities are too stupid to figure out how to get an ID. If they voted for the SAVE act, they would in essence be admitting they have been lying the whole time.
What benefit is there to such a pool? How about another choice. Should individuals voting against such a common sense measure be voted out of office?
In one word cheating.
