Trump takes no salary as our president. Does not get credit for that He has stock market at record levels. Again no credit. He makes decisions to safeguard cities from crime, again no credit. He gets a
peace plan going for Israel and Iran, again no credit. Many other items he is involved in are working, again no credit. Now he is remodeling the White House to make it a major improvement and Dems cannot
do anything but complain. Trump is the best thing that has happened to this country for a long time. Dems don’t care about the American people. Thanks DJT for your leadership.

The hypocrisy of the left is astounding. They are whining about destroying the history of the White House but just a few short years ago they applauded and supported the destruction of historic monuments all across the country by a terrorist organization.

Once again, the lunatics on the Left are clutching their pearls, this time because Trump wants to renovate the East Wing of the White House. President Trump should have announced that he was “transitioning” the East Wing – that way, the liberal loonies would be fine with that!

The media et al. never gnashed their teeth when previous presidents made changes to the White House. Some of those projects included Teddy Roosevelt adding the West Wing; William Taft augmented the West Wing making the Executive Office oval; FDR constructed the East Wing with an indoor pool for himself; Harry Truman remodeled the main White House building to also include bomb shelters; Nixon added a bowling alley; and Obama installed a basketball court.

Most, if not all of these upgrades have been funded through congressional appropriations – our tax dollars. But our new “king” is funding this big, beautiful ballroom privately by himself and other donors. Trump’s gift to turn the 1902 East Wing, that currently can only fit approximately 200 people, into an exquisite ballroom with a seating capacity of 650 people, will now allow President Trump and future presidents to properly host foreign dignitaries and world leaders.

The Left continues its perpetual meltdown because of the rampant hate they have for our current President, who only wants to make America better. While the radical idiots tear down statues of our Founders, President Trump is enhancing the White House to be “fit for a king.”

“David then took up residence in the fortress and called it the City of David. He built up the area around it, from the terraces inward.  And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him.”    2 Samuel 5:9-10

How can the supposedly richest nation in the world entertain foreign dignitaries in a tent and porta-pottys? It is disgracing that no other president has built this much needed ball room. Plus, it is not costing any tax payer money! Who does that? DONALD TRUMP!

Another thing, the loony leftists are calling it “the people’s house”, which the Capital building also is, yet they prohibit “the people” from entering those houses. I remember people being arrested and charged with felonies when they entered the other “people’s house” on January 6, 2021.

If you look into what past presidents have done, I see no conflict. I’d rather see a ballroom than Barack’s basketball court. I love basketball, but dont see the revelance vs a ballroom in White House affairs. Ballroom make more sense.

I support this 100%! The President is doing something that should have been done a long time ago. Like any home it requires upkeep and updating. President Trump is giving us a beautiful gift. All other Presidents used taxpayer money. This is not, this is a GIFT and I love it. Thank you President Trump.

The best part of this project is seeing how incensed the libs are over something that is not costing us anything. They can support shutting the country down and hurt everyone who depends on a paycheck. Really shows what hypocrites they are. Hopefully, the voters they depend on see what they have caused.

Dem arguments are nothing but petty-they have nothing to stand for. I’m sure the structure will be flawless and beautiful. How embarrassing is it that dignitaries socialize in tents and makeshift facilities! This is historical and suddenly the left is all about preserving our history as it has been? Again, it’s just petty; mountains out of molehills!

This project really is going to have no impact on me, so I really couldn’t care less about it. I don’t foresee ever being invited to a ball, or any other function for that matter, at the White House. Now, if it were using tax-payer money then I might object. But since the leftists are having a cow over it, I say “Build, baby, build!”

This is just fine with me. Especially since it’s privately funded and President Trump can use my tax dollars where they’re needed more. The Democrats and their lapdog media disparaging this is just sour grapes because they can’t get anything done without ripping off the taxpayers.

I don’t know if we need a new ballroom or not and since it’s not my tax money involved I don’t care. The White House is historic but it’s been gutted and rebuilt before. What I’m sure of is that the Democrat leadership will oppose Trump no matter what he does.

President Trump is using “private” money, including his own. I have written the White House and asked them to set up a mechanism that those of us who want to participate in financing the construction of the new Ballroom can contribute to as well.

I would remind everyone that Obama used TAXPAYER dollars to build an indoor basketball court; he did not ask us if we approved the use of OUR money for it, and I do not recall hearing ANYONE criticize him for his remodeling project!

President Trump’s vision for the elegance and appreciation of the White House and it’s historical significance to our country will do us proud!

The savings to taxpayers to rent a facility, pay for Secret Service to protect and transport the President safely while off White House grounds is reason enough for the Big Beautiful Ballroom.
The meltdown of libtard media proves that TDS is real and has no cure. I find the clown show hilarious.
Much love Mr. President

My concern is that half of our country of consists of imbeciles. They are ignorant of history and too lazy to make an effort to find the historical background/context. Taft and FDR made major changes to the White House. Nixon put in a bowling alley and Obama put in a basketball court. A swimming pool was also in and out of the picture. Do any of these people understand that when there are big events tents have to be set up to accommodate guests because there isn’t room? These people are like gerbils running from one outrage to the next. For the first time taxpayers aren’t on the hook. It will be beautiful, I have no doubt, and get used by all future presidents unlike perhaps a bowling alley or basketball court.

Most other countries have grand ballrooms and building to entertain dignitaries and guests so it’s about time the USA has one that befits our status in the world. It’s a great idea and not costing the taxpayers one cent! How can we go wrong?

There has been a solarium, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor movie theater, game room, music room, outdoor track, tennis courts, bowling alley, conservatory, etc, etc, added to the White House by various Presidents of both parties. Take the log out of your own eye get over it and move on.

When hosting an official State Dinner, there will be more than 200 people who need to be seated and served. The current accommodations are about the size of an average church social hall in a small community. In my younger days, I catered all the events at my synagogue, and our social hall had a max. capacity of 200. A luncheon for 165, seated, was tight, not very much room between the round, 8-person tables. What is the bathroom situation like in the current hall? You’re going to need a lot of toilets and sinks to serve 200+ people, AND up-to-date plumbing. In closing, I think it would be great to have the Inaugural Ball AT the president’s house!

It really does not matter to the Left what President Trump accomplishes.
They disparage the very air that he breathes. The testament to that point is the moment that they made an attempt on the man’s life!

When a prominent politician renovated a toilet in her home to house a hidden, email address server for the purpose of illegally conducting government business to shelter her secret activities and then she had the evidence destroyed when she got caught with the setup, there were nothing but crickets from the Left of the matter….. CRICKETS!!!
Anyone care to lay wages on who it was that footed the renovation bill on that project deal?

This absolutely needed to be done. To host an event under Obama, they had to set up a huge tent with porta-pots. That surely gives an impression of our great nation. I also don’t think Trump should have had to use private funds. But under this current toxic political environment I can understand and appreciate why he funded it that way. It is also important to note that it is not just a ballroom. It is more like a conference center for hosting other types of events.

The bad thing about this is that the media has lost their focus and are intent on trying do ding Trump for this project. They should be focusing on the lune democrats who are keeping the government shut down. Support the CR and get the government funded! Dems only seem to be good at being bad losers! GET OVER IT!

As Greg Gutfeld always says on his FNC show, “We do not deserve him!”

The more success he brings to our troubled country, the more the Democrats hair catch on fire. Such moronic, evil behavior they display at every move President Trump makes to fulfill his campaign promises (wow, a politician that actually does what he promised), the more the vermin Democrats whine, complain, lie, and call Republicans nasty names. It’s like they are still 7 year olds trying to bully kids because they are losers themselves.

They spent enormous amounts of money with their No Kings political theater. The millions they spent on an incredibly false narrative, would have been better spent on upgrading mental health facility access, disappearing nursing homes for the elderly, upgrading the country’s electrical grids, and stopping the turnstyle doors giving horrible felons more sympathy than the victims they killed/maimed/raped etc, by putting them back in the population with no-cash bail. And so much more.

What makes this situation even more head scratching is WHY are they so against a wonderful much needed addition to the White House that they don’t have to pay for.

It seems to me they are more interested in promoting this dumb no kings idea, based on nothing coherent that I can find, than coming together with mentally healthier humans who UNDERSTAND that, while President Trump is not perfect, he is 1000% better than what we were forced to endure the past 4 years. I don’t know what you saw in all the pictures of the dumbest idea (and worst waste of millions of dollars) I have seen in my lifetime of all-white, old 60’s leftover hippies, making themselves feel relevant again (notice they did NOTHING to contribute to the REAL problems facing the average people of this country!).

All these pathetic losers with zero ideas about REAL issues facing this country, looking ridiculous to average Americans who understand we are about to celebrate 250 years of freedom from REAL KINGS. This is the first time in my long life, that I honestly do not understand how these mentally challenged humans think they did something great by clogging up our streets, calling for police protection knowing how these people are so hateful and pathetic. It accomplished nothing except making old white racists feel better about their conflicting beliefs and their TDS mental illness.

They can get the same information the rest of us get about the FACT that their Democratic Party has one foot out the door right now as more and more people recover from DTS and come over to the Common Sense side of this political war! I’d feel sorry for them except they are rats among the common folks – annoying vermin spreading lies and discontent over what? Finally getting America cleaned up and giving China and Russia something to stop their saber rattling? It truly does make “No Sense!”

I think the ballroom is a good idea. No visiting dignitaries should have to use a port a john nor should state dinners be held in a tent. That said, the glitz and gold is fine for a ball room but there is a little too much gold for my taste in the other areas that we see as a backdrop for the president and his officials during press conferences.

I honestly don’t care about that ballroom. It’s a small area of the East wing, and he’s paying for it himself. No taxpayer money involved. Previous Presidents have made structural changes, including the one’s currently bitching. Clinton installed a running track and Obama a Basketball court. The Rose Gareden was put in by Jackie Kennedy, Nixon had the Bowling Alley. There were MAJOR modifications made for FDR, to hide his wheelchair use. Geez people, get over it.

I think this project looks beautiful. I like that it is being privately funded. That is a tremendous gift to our National Heritage. Is it possible there had been some bait and switch when it came to tearing down the East Room or Wing? I think that gave the Demmy dummies more to squalk about.
