Today’s announcement proves that the Nobel Prize is worthless. Barack Obama did absolutely nothing and this same group awarded him the Prize.
I’m a black man who served this country as an Enlisted Marine and an Army Chief Warrant Officer Aviator. I would serve under President Trump with pride. Barack Obama was the Manchurian Candidate who did more to destroy this great nation than any president in our nation’s history. It will be several generations before his damage will be undone.

I’m not surprised. When Obama received it for doing nothing, it spoke volumes about this award. It once was coveted but since has shown their true colors.

President Trump has more than earned the Peace Prize, and others who have received same really haven’t earned it. But he isn’t doing what he is doing for the award but because he truly believes in PEACE! He will continue to do what he believes is right, both for the nation and the world and if he gets the Peace Prize, great! If not, our heavenly Father knows what he, Donald Trump, has earned!
GOD BLESS DONALD TRUMP AND THE UNITED STATEDS OF AMERICA!

Doesn’t matter.

No matter what Trump does and boy he does a lot, he will always ruffle those who do not appreciate his concern for the betterment of the world there are too many idiots who cannot appreciate what he does for the u.s. and the world.. He takes on tough problems and daily does a fantastic job . He will have e his rewards when future historians analyze his accomplishments. Thank you DJT.

That deal was reached probably after the committee made their choice. Next year?
p.s., if you look at the US Presidents who have received that award, they’re all Democrats, except for T. Roosevelt. They’d never pick our favorite POTUS. Doesn’t matter to me anyway, the significance of the Nobel Peace Prize is pretty much the equivalent of an Academy Award (Oscar), it has none. Useless nominations.

I was glad to see that Maria Corina Machado, of Venezuela, dedicated the Nobel Peace Prize that she won to Pres Trump. There are millions of people that feel he is most deserving. However, given that he is Donald J Trump, as well as a Republican, it is doubtful that he will ever win. The cards are definitely stacked against him. That being said, exactly how much value is there to the Nobel Peace Prize anymore? After the disgraceful “winning” of the award by Barack Obama, how much prestige is truly in the award?

Bob

The Nobel committee lost all relevance and prestige when they awarded the peace prize to Barack Obama for doing nothing. Again this year they awarded the prize to someone who is brave but really has done nothing to bring peace. At this point the Nobel Peace Prize is an insult to the recipient. They should rename it the Nobel WOKE Prize or the Nobel Person We Like Prize.

The current winner actually acknowledged Trump, I believe that means as much to him, if not more than a prize or money ?

I am okay that President Trump did not get the award and it was awarded to the lady from Venezuela for she appears to be a worthy candidate, but do agree he was/is a worthy candidate for the award. My thankfulness is that President Trump has been successful in eliminating many conflicts in our world in the short time he has been in office. Now the next two biggest ones to get resolved are Ukraine and Russia, and the Nigerian conflict in which they have been and continuing to massacre Christians and others in that area. One must ask where the UN is in this matter.

Even the recipient of the prize contacted Trump and gave him credit for his assistance to her resistance movement in Venezuela and his efforts to achieve peace in the world. The Nobel Prize committee made a joke of themselves when they awarded the peace prize to Obama and they’ve proven themselves totally ridiculous and biased beyond belief with their decision for 2025.

In My opinion what had happened with the last administration, what was done to our great country! The damage! The corruption, We all felt it even the school children.
President Trump is a God Send! He loves our country and has shown it in many ways.with all that being said, my personal opinion is:
THERE’S A LOT (LEFT) TO BE CLEANED OUT!
President TRUMP earned the peace prize 100 times over! AMEN.

I see no intrinsic value for the Nobel Peace Prize. Its value has been irreparably tarnished by giving it to people like Arafat, Obama, Carter, Gorbachev. It’s political and actually has nothing to do with its stated purpose. I would not accept it

God recognizes the good in each of us. God’s people recognize all the great things President Trump has accomplished, & will continue to accomplish to make our nation stronger, reducing crime, striving for peace throughout the world. – so – who needs a ‘prize’ from mankind ? Our treasure is stored in Heaven.

The Nobel Peace Prize Committee has discredited itself to the point, their “award” means nothing. They “awarded” it to BO for no reason whatsoever; what they claim they ‘thought’ he would do. Instead he did more damage to this country than any of us thought possible.

The ‘committee’ have proven themselves to be dishonorable, and therefore, their ‘award’ and/or opinion means nothing to me.

I agree with President Putin on this subject.

He should get (my) newly-created “Make America Great Again Award!” World Peace is fleeting, but without a strong leader in the United States, it’s not even possible! (Biden and Obama proved that!) The border is secure, illegal aliens are being deported, the Economy is growing, tariffs are working, the deep-state is disintegrating, and Americans are doing better now than they were less than a year ago! MAGA!

Hamas, and by extension, the “palestinians”, have never, ever, kept their word .
It remains to be seen if the “peace” holds.
Having said that, I believe the “Nobel Peace Prize” to be a worthless scrap of paper.
It has been brutally apparent for some time that it is merely a good ole boys club award.

President Trump is far beyond the Nobel Peace Prize. Obama received it for simply dreaming of world peace. They denied President Trump who actually has stopped wars that have raged on for decades. No matter what he accomplishes the elites of the world will never give him credit.

The deal is not secure until Hamas disarms and disbands. By not allowing Israel to “finish the job”, we could be here again in the next 2-5 years. Islam is committed to destroying Israel. That is the only peace they seek.

Not just the Israel-Hamas deal, but multiple other peace deals he has completed. Worldwide impact—but the global elites do not want the world progressing. They cannot control their timeline if people can focus on them rather than war.

I’m pretty sure that Trump could find a cure for cancer, and he’d be treated the same. This peace deal will not last as the Palestinians create no economic value to the region and rely on funding from the other Arab nations. As soon as the ink is dry the rockets will fly again while blaming Israel. Ask Anwar Sadat how well peace is welcomed with Israel.

I just don’t get it, why are some people so obsessed with the NPP, does Trump deserve it, yes, but is the NPP worth anything anymore. The NPP committee has become woke and liberal controlled over the last couple of decades and have destroyed what the NPP means. Just like the awards for actors/actresses, the Emmy, Oscars etc. have become so full of leftist politics and ideology that the awards have nothing to do with movies anymore.

There are rules for the prize. To get the Nobel for 2025, the activity needed to happen in 2024. Seriously folks (AMAC, this is you for fueling the issue by leaving out the details!) The deadline for nominations was Jan 31, 2025 and Trump hadn’t had time to do much at that point. We have to wait for next year. Hopefully those nominating him will realize there’s a deadline for next year’s prize.

Of course he won’t get the Nobel, but it doesn’t matter because that prize has become worthless. Trump’s achievements are what matters. He once said his retribution will be success. His lawsuits against enemies are not retribution, they are justice.

I don’t think that President Trump is doing this for the Nobel Peace Prize. At the end of the day he is doing what he feels that is best for the people. There is no question that he will be rewarded in the end. Once again he proves just how worthless the committee of the Nobel Peace Prize members are. Can anyone point out who these folks are? Then answer is no, but we all know who the President of the United States of America, and that is Mr. Donal Trump. As a retired military member of the United States Air Force, I only wish that I was young again to serve under this President.

The Nobel awards once meant something to be proud of and were earned. That all changed when Obama was awarded the Peace Prize for no reason. He did nothing to earn it and basically spit in the face of the Nobel Committee by becoming the most divisive, not to mention the absolute most corrupt and worst President this Country has ever seen. And he still is a racist, divisive, evil and corrupt man today. He started the mess this Country is in and to this day fuels the hate speech and inflammatory names which the Democrats use freely against Republicans and our President.

The Nobel anything prize has no credibility since obviously some receive it just by deceiving enough people to get elected. Our true reward is eternity with our Father. So introducing people to Yesua (Jesus) should be our focus.

As long as Hamas exists along with other radical muslim terrorist groups, there will never be peace in the mid-East. Israel is fighting for its life as a people and nation. This is only a forced pause in Israeli defensive action to allow the terrorists to re-arm and train new fighters.

The terrorists learned that “rescue the hostages” allows them to negotiate from a position of power because the World will force Israel to accept arab terms to free their captive hostages.

If the Nobel meant anything anymore, President Trump certainly would deserve it. However, ever since Obama was given the prize after being in the White House for only four months and never having accomplished anything in his life to deserve it, the prize is only a meaningless token. It is way to early for one to be given for the Israeli conflict. Hamas has reneged on every one of the multiple agreements between them and Israel in the past. They will renege on this one also. Agreements only give time to Hamas for them to regroup, rearm and resupply then attack again. The agreement is only between Hamas in Gaza. Hamas exists in multiple other countries and they all want to wipe out the Jews. There will never peace until the lives of every member of Hamas has been terminated.

The Noble Peace Price (trinket) no longer has the meaning that it once had.

Never forget that they gave it to Mr. Elections-Have-Consequences for just showing up and locating all of the local bathhouses in D.C.
And, even that he didn’t do on his own….with good ole GPS because: “”You don’t accomplish things without help.””

Heck, I was done with the whole process when they issued Yassa Arafat his ‘trinket’ (about 30 some odd years ago)!

It’s strictly for those who are either global warming demigods, community agitators or aspiring terrorists these days.

Personally, I think Trump should have refrained from crowing about this so-called peace deal. Muslims in general and Hamas in particular are inherently dishonest. There is no concept of “peace” in Islam. At best this is nothing more than a hudna. It won’t last.

Objective truth matters. That means that the number of people who have received a peaceful future, from not only this deal but also other peace deals that President Trump has been essential in securing, such as Ukraine, should be countable. These truths should matter. Once truth prevails, the Nobel Prize will be meaningful again.
