I have no problem with using the NG and the Marines if local authorities fail to rein in protestors who become violent. I DO have a problem with not arresting local authorities who impede the enforcement of federal law. The supremacy clause of the US Constitution (Article VI, Clause 2) is clear.
On the 14th of June, 2025 there are supposed to be protests against President Trump. The Hamilton County (Ohio) Prosecutor ( the district attorney in some areas) Connie Pillich (D), discussing the protests, has referred to Trump backers as “vile humans”. She has since deleted her personal Facebook page after blowback from some people. That’s how the Left thinks of us, and it’s no surprise. We have been referred to as “garbage”, “deplorables” and those “clinging to their Bibles and guns”. And now we are vile humans. Personally, I’d be nice to folks clinging to Bibles and guns.
President Trump exercised his constitutional authority to protect federal buildings and personnel in a city where local leadership has proven incapable of maintaining basic law and order.
An article I wrote on SubStack in November 2023 titled “Mobocracy vs. Truth” addressed this madness. Here’s an excerpt from that piece:
The Cambridge Dictionary defines mobocracy as, “rule by a mob (= a large, angry crowd, especially one that could become violent)” and “a mob that has power, or is in control.”
Countless examples of mobocracy, or mob mentality, that have occurred in the United States in just the past decade, come to mind, such as George Flood riots; the “summer of love” full of destructive acts in cities like Portland, Oregon; the tearing down of historical monuments that represented real history; demonstrations advocating and insisting on murdering thousands and thousands of innocent babies in the womb. And most recently, we are witnessing people world-wide, throw their ignorant support for terrorists who instigated and brutally attacked the nation of Israel…
This ludicrous support of heinous terrorism has seeped into various facets of our nation, including our own government, like sewage from a septic tank…
How is mobocracy formed and how does metastasize like a cancer? Well, the roots of it are ignorance and fear. Fueled by far-left, one-sided, and truth-withholding media, mobocracy takes on a life of its own and spreads like wildfire.
The desperate lunacy of the Left has shifted it’s TDS to now throw their evil, hate, and destruction against ICE. These malign terrorists aren’t simply part of mob mentality that hates America. They are recruited and paid thousands of dollars by wealthy Marxists. Check out the recruiting ads for rioters on Craig’s list etc.
Incidents like this will not be curbed until the justice system truly holds the law-breakers to account with actual time behind bars and off of our streets. While the liars on late night TV, Democrat Media personalities, far-left politicians et al., continue to claim that the riots in LA and other communities are “peaceful,” our Commander-in-Chief is handling this lawlessness effectively and constitutionally.

Trump is doing exactly what he promised to get this country back to prosperity and respect. California is a mess with a weak governor a lousy house and senate and is not concerned about the average person in the state. Trump will not tolerate this crap and these are not peaceful protest nor non destruction. Los Angeles mayor is worthless allowing destruction of property and letting this to happen. The prisons are being emptied allowing criminals to run free. ICE will not hassle or arrest people who are here legally. Vote these idiots who run this state out or this will continue. Just disgusting. Wake up California
We are seeing the fruits of idiot biden and the other drats who let all these ne’er-do-wells in, garbage in and it will act out! President Trump is right once again! The Democrat Party is losing at every turn. They’re losing the Black, Hispanic, the young and women voters. As a party, they’ve become desperate. When desperate, they always default to their core beliefs, “Never let a good crisis go to waste, if there is no crisis, then create one.” – the MSM will carry the progressive narrative.
President Trump is doing what he was elected to do…govern and protect America and it’s citizens from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC!!!
We must find out who is financing these anarchists that support the invasion of America that was sponsored by President Biden who allowed 12-14 MILLION invaders to enter our nation. The damage in the LA riots is estimated at over one billion dollars. Those that supported the riots must be held accountable.
When the police are prevented from enforcing the law and protecting Federal workers by Leftist mayors then Federal troops are needed.
Vandalism is not peaceful protesting. A large reason that rioting goes on is that arrests and appropriate punishments have not been the result of prior offenses throughout the United States.
Imprisonment and other punishments need to be enforced to discourage more crime.
I agree that the local police should handle local protests/riots, but what is going on is NOT a local riot. Rioters are being brought in from outside the state and are paid by who know who (and we all know who). The local police forces are simply overwhelmed and if left to handle it themselves the city would be destroyed. Therefore, it is the president has the authority to send in federal troops to protect the citizens, and federal personnel and property.
Personally, the LA mayor and the governor should be arrested for allowing, and inciting this riot. Does anyone know what country the mayor is in now? Newsome is hiding in Sacramento challenging federal authorities to arrest him. He seems to think that if they did it would cause an uproar, but I think a majority of the people of California would welcome it. Too bad the largest population areas are liberal. Unless that changes, California will forever remain blue (having no life).
I, for one, certainly voted to end this lawlessness.
I am sick to death of these Leftist thugs getting their way over and over. And I’m 100% fed up with the vile MSM slandering all MAGA persons as the worst specimens of humanity on the planet. Trump has exceeded my expectations in dealing with the brutal punks who want to burn LA to the ground.
A side issue: Trump has said and done some things which have made me cringe. But, Californians keep electing far Left bullies who incite prolonged violence and destruction. Persons such as Newsome and Pelosi and Pedilla and Maxine Waters and the despicable Adam Schiff bother me vastly more than anything Trump has ever said or done.

It became obvious that the elected officials of LA and California we’re content to seeing LA burn to the ground to advance their agenda. The law says that the President may nationalize the Guard if local officials refuse to act to quell civil unrest.

When the left acted out during Trumps first term he should have been a lot more aggressive, from what I’m seeing he learned his lesson. Leftists, especially Demos need to understand that throwing a tantrum and using violence and lies is not an adult path when it comes to disagreements. The majority of people support Trump, if you have a better idea then put it on the table, otherwise sit down and shut up.
The President has an obligation to protect citizens from all threats, foreign (illegal aliens) and domestic (treasonous Mayors and Governors). President Trump is fulfilling his Constitutional duties.

The “protesters” are actually Foreign Enemy Combatants encouraged to come in under the Biden Administration. We saw them; videos of young, military age, fit and combat-ready men are all over the internet, and widely reported on many alternative media websites during Biden’s “No Border” reign of terror..
Ask Ben Berquam, he was asking them where they were from and the vast majority (who responded) were from countries who hate us, with a majority Muslim population.
The riots in LA, and the ones planned for this weekend and throughout the summer have been planned for months; maybe years. Don’t be deluded. These people are either Marxists/Communists or are employed by Marxists/Communists and their intent is to destroy us, our Constitution and our Government. They want to destroy America.
If it takes the Military to get them out of our country, so be it.

We definitely are not strict in our effort to stop violent riots in our nation cities. There needs to be far greater penalties …no more slapping the back of their hand… since they don’t worry about the law because they know they’ll be out in no time. We’re dealing with people that want to harm the United States and this action is being financed by left-wing groups that would love to see America fail.Why should the innocent American citizens have to tolerate this type of violence… The United States never used to be in this position.

The “news” coverage of the protests has been an attempt to fool/lie to the populace regarding the composition of the participants, by “reporting” contradictions to what we see with our own eyes. This is similar to the reporting of the Biden era in which they failed to present the accounts of what we were actually seeing regarding the Presidents physical and mental capabilities.

Remember “tough love”. This is what President Trump is using. Set limits on behavior, remove unacceptable “friends and associates “, explain consequences for bad behavior and follow them up. At least that is my opinion. Play stupid games (riots and destruction), win stupid prizes (arrests, fines and jail time).
I support the President’s decision. However, without punishment for those who have incited these riots, including politicians, it will not stop. Of course, even if they are arrested it’s likely they’ll be released by the radical judiciary.
If the President is working to achieve safety for all citizens of the US, what American person would no want him to support the police, ICE, etc. The police force in California and many states has had their hands tied in securing our streets. It’s time to take back the US to what it was and can be again. Illegals need to be deported and re-enter legally, criminals need to be incarcerated, not given a hearing date and their promise they will appear. Police officers are catching the criminals and they are out before the officers even finish their paperwork. Looting, stealing, destroying business and public property are no longer acceptable to the Majority of American people. Whether you like him or not, Donald Trump is our President and the Majority of American people voted for it. He will do what he needs to do, to make our streets safe again, and if you don’t like it, join the other crazy people that have moved overseas! You are a value to the US and you need to move to grow in different soil!
This is not an organic free speech protest. It is organized and paid for by several organization, some of which have even received government funding. I fully support the Marines guarding Federal facilities, and fully support the National Guard being called in, and there are precedents for both so despite Gavin Newsome’s claims, there are no laws being violated here.
In my opinion, President. Trump has exercised his authority according to the provisions in the Constitution, and he was justified in calling in the troops to support ICE. Both the governor and the mayor of LA not only supported the riots, but they also utilized them for political purposes. The people want an end to these riots and voted for control over illegal immigration. Those who aid, support, and fund these activities should be punished accordingly. This is an attempt at initiating a civil war by the left, who have lost any remaining credibility through these actions.

I voted for number one choice, I always support Donald Trump. However in my humble opinion I would let the city burn to the ground. And absolutely no federal aid to rebuild it. Just let the rioters have it. People in California vote for this garbage they can have it.
I think that Trump has a good idea of who is actually behind these RIOTS in Los Angeles. Contrary to what the Marxist Media would have you believe, these are well-organized riots in my opinion. I am old enough to remember the 1968 Detroit riots. At least back then we had enough sense to call them what they were. I believe the average American is sick and tired of this kind of behavior, especially after the “summer of love” in 2020 after George Floyd died from drugs. How any self-respecting newsman can go on television and stand there calling these “mostly peaceful protests” with a building burning behind him is beyond my comprehension. He would have to be “self-respecting” because no normal person with two brain cells has any respect left for these people!
