President Trump is halting federal funding of all Sanctuary states, cities, and jurisdictions February 1st 2026. A good and much needed move. President Trump is threatening invoking the Insurrection Act in Minneapolis and maybe Minnesota. Could be a good move. I need to know what the objectives are and what the end game is. I do think that ICE should have the power to arrest or detain anyone that is hampering the conduct of ICE operations and agents. Protest is maybe okay, but the line is where protest actually interferes with ICE in their duties. .
As usual Democratic states will not give any support the Trump administration does to rid our country of illegals who refuse to go through proper channels to be allowed into our country. This is a continuing problem and Dems do not care. Activist continue to go against the Trump administration and the news media gives Trump no credit for cleaning up this continued mess. Republicans must stand firm and not buckle under as the Dems push for lawlessness. Trump has the economy humming and gets no support from the Dems nor news media. Stay strong and don’t backdoor. Dangerous times . Do not let what Trump has accomplished fall apart.
If you’re here in the U.S. illegally… you should be deported.
I am originally from Minnesota (since the 1980’s) but we left that state in 2021 in large part due to the current state of politics and the situation you now see (which has been happening for a long, long time). Most of the state are good people and want to do what’s right. However, the politicians and the lefties have a strong foothold in public education and higher education. That sways “educated” people in their thinking. They use the peoples’ desire to be “nice” against them and manipulate them. This must be addressed, otherwise this type of thing is going to continue. Until this happens, the federal government cannot let them “win”. The Border Patrol officer showing that he is human by hugging that lady will go a long way in that state in particular for public perception. But they need to stand firm and do the right thing, all the while protecting themselves. It’s almost like taking a stick of dynamite from a baby while the baby is throwing a tantrum. It’s for their own good. That’s all I got to say about that.
Anything impeding ICE needs to be charged with obstruction of law enforcement. This includes the lying, biased media.
I wish we could pick more then one for this poll.This ,too me ,is a complex issue. While the local law enforcement knows the community better and has to live there, it has to be incorporated as part of the solution. Here it seems to be adding to the problem when listening to the governor and mayor.For that reason, I think stronger measures need to occur. The abuse of ICE and law enforcement has gotten out of hand and there should be a loud voice coming from us supporters of ICE and law enforcement that we support them and a loud message ,through force by the government if neccessary, that this will not be tolerated. Having said that, the presumption on my part is they have adequate training and no officer abuses his position or becomes a vigilante .
The media is also directly responsible for this chaos and should be held accountable ,every single one who stirs up and politicized this is.
We’ve seen this before, just the names are different. George Floyd, defund the police, BLM riots and looting, main stream media stirring and stirring, paid protestors. The left uses this to deflect from what the actual issues and problems are, so the lemmings and cool aid drinkers can add to the violence.
Dark money from anti-America Socialist/Fascist/Communist nut jobs are not only FUNDING these destructive and deadly riots, but they’re also TRAINING the ignorant participants. This, coupled with the commission of lies and omission of truthful facts on behalf of legacy media and corrupt leftist political leaders (losers), is the recipe that is baking this cake!
Just investigate the “ICE Watch” groups in blue sections of our country and you will find training material and propaganda for these idiots to use as they foolishly and dangerously go about their assignments like sheep going to slaughter.
The BLM protesters in 2020 were predominantly male, African American, and between the ages of 18 to 35 yrs. old. The ICE riots demographics have shifted to be predominantly middle-age (and elderly) white women. Dark money has been used for funding, recruiting, and training the participants in both senseless protest movements.

The sad truth is that if democrats were in power and resorted to their previous view (twenty years ago) on illegal immigration, they would be totally supporting ICE to remove this criminal facet of our society out of our country. But their hate for DJT totally dominates every thought and action of their lives, so rule of law means nothing, and accountability is completely absent. The Left consistently chanted “nobody is above the law” regarding President Trump. It’s high time they prove it now!

There is no doubt that any of the first three options are so on point that my choice was difficult. I believe we should put a stop to all the violence going on in the streets. Residents and businesses are affected by this nonsense and complete lack of respect of the law. A loud and clear message must be sent, to both these violent protesters, as well as the leaders in this community and the state.
I am so sick of these individuals attacking ice agents who are just trying to enforce the laws passed by congress. The lame media is totally biased when reporting what is happening to our ice agents. The chief of police is a disgrace to law enforcement. Frye and Waltz have incited this mess and continue to fan the flames. They should be prosecuted. They also need to be investigated for the massive fraud and their involvement.
I’ve never commented before . . .
I became a Naturalized US Citizen back in ’22. My process started in 1976. After the ceremony we all had to turn in our green cards to receive our naturalization certificates. I was assigned Table 0. Tables went from 0 – 6. I had zero wait. I realized what this was, it was a final “thank you” for doing the immigration process so “legally”.
Government knows so much about us all, but I feel they know even more about those of us who are immigrants, and they seriously know everything about those who are here illegally (overstaying, etc). My issue with all of this is the fact if these illegals weren’t here to begin with, none of this would be in the news. Likewise, as a person who travels to Europe rather routinely, it gets me how there’s no talk of how hard immigration in other countries is becoming. It’s like the US is the only country with immigration “standards”. Imagine if the US took part of the Schengen VISA that’s slowly being rolled out in Europe. The progressives would have a serious hissy fit I feel.
A country has a right to defend its borders and immigration policies. As it is, when my mom was a child she contracted TB. Part of our process included her going through a chest scan to make sure she was fully healed. I feel we here know how imperative vetting is, but the progressive woke left legacy / mainstream media is purposely avoiding sharing stories such as my family and how illegal immigration is an insult to families such as my own.
Arrest Walz and Frey
I recently heard about a poll that more than half of the Mayors in Minnesota did not support Walz, but supported President Trump with ICE being in their State and removing illegals.
My real opinion wasn’t included in the choices. I think the violent protesters should be stripped of their citizenship and deported to the country of their choice, and ICE needs to pick up the pace.
The Biden/Harris Administration created a disastrous situation by allowing millions of people to immigrate to America illegally, with the intention of providing them Government benefits so that they will vote for Democrat candidates. The mainstream media is complicit as it has failed to report about the crimes and corruption associated with the illegal immigration and the media even reported lies to the American people by depicting them as “victims”. The Trump administration has a big mess to clean up and corrupt Dem Mayors and Governors are impeding the efforts of Federal law enforcement. Therefore, I believe that:
so why is it OK for Citizens to attack I.C.E. officers or impede their ability to do their job of removing these illegals?

Local and State “leaders” — and the terrorist-promoting Media — should be arrested, tried and (when convicted) be individually fined. These fines should cover the costs of …
… bringing federal law envorcement in to do the job the local and state services refuse to do.
… feeding and housing First Responders and federal law enforcement.
… cleaning up the messes the terrorists leave everywhere they go.
… restoring and rebuilding the permanent infrustructure destroyed by the terrorists.
IN ADDITION, any organization or individual funding the terrorists should be arrested, tried and (when convicted of terrorist activity) have their assets seized to pay for continued border security, drug seizures, human trafficking cessation and implementation of voter ID systems.
The new tactic is being your child to a.protest. these kids are getting tear gassed. Mommy should be tossed into the housegow for a long time for that and the kids.placed up for adoption.
In my opinion sanctuary cities and states should not be legal, they undermine the purpose and authority of our borders and sovereignty as a country. While I agree that human rights are important and must be protected I think protecting and harboring criminals is a major mistake.
These dem/lib/socialist/commie/fake news dupes need to QUIT interfering. These hard working Americans are doing their LAWFUL DUTIES to protect us from the ILLEGAL BIDEN INVASION….
The media is extremely culpable due to the fact that for days they showed a video that actually showed nothing of the real view of the injured officer. They pumped that daily rousing and inciting the agitators and leftists. It wasn’t until last week that we actually saw the real view. Possibly due to legalities or politics I do not know but we the people are being manipulated.
I selected choice two because I think “stronger action” by the federal government encompasses choice one. My understanding, the FBI Kash Patel and DOJ Pam Bondi were going after the entities foreign and domestic who are funneling money to these radical groups. If there are bored old hippies and gen-whatever that don’t know what to do with themselves and they want to stand in sub zero temps with a sign, that is their right. But these overnight riots destroying property and attacking federal agents is not acceptable. If the average average citizen so much as spoke sharply to a traffic cop we would be arrested on the spot. These Minnesota Morons have been allowed to prove themselves stronger than our federal law enforcement; what? This is ridiculous. Likewise Walz is doing this to deflect from the fraud. Who is he working for, his favorite country China? Why isn’t he in front of congress yet Pammy? Mr. Comer has sent to the DOJ dozens of recommendations for indictment and no action. Very close to thinking Bondi is a deep state arm. But I digress… Frey and that Chief of Police (aka Zed and the Gimp) should be hauled off and charged with sedition immediately. Likewise the Chief of Police in Philly; have you listened to this woman? wow. Is it really that hard to decide? Afraid of mid term results? Pass the voting laws and move on. If you are afraid to use deadly force against rioters, then get the fire hoses and turn them into pop sickles, Grab ALL of the Somali, regardless of status, including seditious OMAR and throw them in prison. Sort it out when there is time….. just like they have the Jan 6 prisoners. I fear we are in for three more years of doing nothingness…..we can pluck a dictator out of a country but we can’t grab a traitor governor and mayor? We need answers. We need peace. OK, let the comments and name calling begin….. like it or not, this is my opine.
I think now, with protesters now calling for “bring your guns”, “bring anything” to destroy cars. A lot of these protesters don’t even live in the state are keeping these protests going because they are getting PAID by evil, anti-American individuals like George Soros who has been found out gor 501C to get our tax dollars and use it against us. The corruption in this country is far deeper than can be imagined and Trump is finding more everyday. It came out yesterday that 43 Dems and 15 Republicans are part of the Deep State and got paid by Maduro regime or “Bought Off” so Maduro could get his drugs and terrorists to infiltrate U.S. Trump and Hegseth are investigating now. On the list are Rand Paul, John Thune, John Cornyn, Chuck Grassley and more!! So, anything ICE does is fine with me because they are trying to get all those illegals and corrupt Somalians out of our country.
I wanted to vote for the first three on this pole BUT only one is allowed.
I find it beyond the pale of absurdity that anyone railing in protesting over the fact that many of these individuals who have been apprehended by the federal government and are being returned to their homelands in Somalia because many of them that have been here in this country illegally since the Clinton Administration, established businesses that are being determined as fraudulent as their legal status to be in this country.
These people have been financially “sticking it” to the American taxpayers for literally decades through the assistance of local, state as well as previous federal level administrations.
Extremely high percentages of them have been on some sort of government welfare programs when they don’t even hold any of the legal documents to be in this country in the first place!
Yet, zero protests towards the multiple individuals who allowed this mess to continue to fester over the decades!
But, here they are protesting the only Administration who is attempting to put a stop to the train wreck that this insanity is while the rest of the planet is perpetually coughing up their lungs in laughter over it all!
Mr. Nick Shirley and his team deserves so much more than kudos because without them, even the cowards who knew about all of this and still did or said nothing to stop this, it certainly would have continued on and no one would have known anything about it!

I voted #1 BUT # 1, 2 & 3 are applicable. ANY person who attempts to run over, injure or kill an officer of the LAW who is following orders no matter whether Federal, State or Local should suffer the consequences IE injury or DEATH. Anarchist have NO PLACE in our society. IF they want SOCIALISIM or COMMUNISM there are several countries they can move to, or be sent to, and my opinion is they ALL need to be sent to one of them!
While I am a proponent of states rights and limiting federal government, this ceases to be a states issue when it becomes a danger to other states and the countries security in whole. The primary responsibility of the federal government is to provide security for this country, therefore there is no question that federal authorities are bound to step in and secure this situation and take into custody all those who are a threat to the country’s security including non citizens, citizens and elected officials.

The left leaning media stoke the flames by flipping the chaos directed from the city and state leadership, that the federal government agents are causing the chaos, however, if these city and state officials would comply and support the illegal immigrant apprehension and removal the chaos would cease. Look at the red states and non sanctuary locations, no chaos no violence except from the illegals being apprehended… see the difference.

Those who impede the enforcement of federal law in any fashion should suffer the consequences – with extreme prejudice. We have been far too tolerant for far too long. This must end before our country becomes unrecognizable.
Local and state leaders who refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement contribute to unrest and disorder. And do so for purely political reasons.
If Minnesota and other states continue to block ICE Agents from doing their jobs, President Trump should invoke the Insurrection Act, and ignore unelected Federal Judges standing in the way.

ANYONE who solicits violence or advising to just not follow orders of ICE, police, etc need to be AT LEAST fined and definitely prosecuted for inciting violence/death! Why are 8647 stickers allowed on etsy and NOT considered to be a death threat?! My law book says threatening someone’s life is AGAINST THE LAW?! I guess that only applies to Conservative Republicans?! Why do people believe it’s OKAY to undermine law enforcement for illegal aliens BREAKING THE LAW??? Then later towards end of Biden term, once they were caught. These same groups claimed their hands were tied unless new laws were created. The full corruption was on display … when al of a sudden $$ money was magically coming out of the wood work to pay for housing needs, hotels were setup food, Ice cream socials, driver license etc.. all provide from our tax dollars for these Illegals magically. In the mean time while our current homeless Vets and others were already out on the streets some how we could not manage to find one dime $$ of this same tax payer funds to help them previously before invasion or even during the invasion. Even our kids school ground and play areas were now recruited for these invaders and we got to witness the corruption of so many NGOS prompted up during this period. Can you imagine for one moment, that these same hypocritical democrats leaders, NGOs, media and Christian groups now doing everything they can to flame violence towards our Ice agents and de-humanize them with their lying rhetoric for doing their jobs to try and clean up this mess. Imagine for moment would we have so many homeless vets and others if they really cared about human dignity and our own homeless folks. where was this money and fake outrage hiding… for our own homeless situation prior to this invasion? Its also sad to watch how the corruptions and huge amount of fraud enabled and setup to allow even more billions of tax payer dollars to stolen. Once again under the same hypocrisy of setting up these corrupt NGOs and service that were suppose to be providing aid and help for kids, medical services etc. we see instead a handful of folks got very rich and the service never happened. Once again same folks faking outrage over the Ice agents and de-humanizing then for doing their lawful jobs are just trying to stoke more violence and pull on the heart strings of many Americans with their lies that that it right and just to violently protest against ICE. I am confused why we watch these Ice agents get their vehicles trashed ice bottles thrown at them, etc. and it appears these violent protesters are just free to do what they want.. I guess some person in DOJ must decide that this is ok let them keep doing it to these ICE agents.
Just really Sad to watch our great country turn into a third world lawless society were corruptions and violent protest are now just part of our fabric of society..

Very hard to understand how the same people who created this problem are the ones trying to prevent actions to correct it. The open border and sanctuary city policies have been the main driver behind crime, drug deaths, and general disorder in many large US cities. The reason the effort to arrest the violent illegal aliens in our country has become so chaotic and disruptive to the communities where operations are underway is the way “protesters” have impeded those operations. State and city officials could end the violence immediately if they would simply turn over violent and repeat offenders who already have warrants for their arrest to ICE. This is more of an insurrection than a protest.
I agree with all but the last selection anyone that comes to this nation needs to abide by our laws anyone condoning or calling for violence against law enforcement trying to find people that break our laws especially illegals that came here without going through ports of entry and anyone including politicians inticeing people to interfere with law enforcement should be charged with aiding criminals and inciting violence period
The former administrations turned a blind eye to the truth, and the mainstream media was 100% on board with them in an effort to subvert the will of the people, ICE should be aided and supported by all local and state law enforcement agencies in removing all law breakers that enter the U.S.A. without following the proper legal methods.
Destruction of Federal property, as seen in smashing windows and defacing ICE vehicles and personal property of ICE officers is a crime and should be punishable to the full extent of the law.

President Trump was hired to do many things. Enforcing immigration laws was just one of them. External forces such as George Soros and his kids, Obama, Biden admin, federal judges, those that wish they were in power, a larger than fathomable portion of our government & the legacy media have some sick/demented hatred for our president and I don’t need to ask them why……..I believe we all know AND IT IS CHILDISH! I fear they don’t understand where their actions will ultimately take our beautiful country. THEY SHOULD STOP NOW! Biden had his time to attempt to ruin this country……now, all these haters should “get to the back of the bus, sit down, shut up” AND LET THIS MAN & HIS ADMIN. Force local and state law enforcement to assist in enforcing our immigration laws by making immigration detainers equivalent to warrants. Make the penalties substantial for not honoring these detainers and make them applicable to sheriffs, mayors and governors who’s policies create sanctuary cities and states.
I had a difficult time just picking one response. I think each of these choices has a part in the current situation with ICE.
