The first Earth Day occurred in 1970, and out of which came environmental legislation, such as the Clean Air Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Water Quality Improvement Act, as well as the establishment of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Yet Earth Day has also morphed into a very costly and quite hypocritical hoax called the Green New Deal (or scam). For years, the alarmists have been spewing out apocalyptic predictions about the demise of the earth due to so-called man-made climate atrocities that, well, just didn’t happen, such as:

·     1967: Dire Famine Forecast By 1975
·     1970: Urban Citizens Will Require Gas Masks by 1985
·     1970: Ice Age By 2000 (I thought they claimed “Global Warming”)
·     1972: Oil will be depleted in 20 Years
·     1988: Temperature in DC Will Hit Record Highs
·     1989: Rising Sea Levels Will Obliterate Nations if Nothing Done by 2000
·     2006: Al Gore predicts the world will reach point of no return by 2016
·     2008: Climate genius Al Gore predicts ice-free Arctic by 2013
·     2011: Washington Post Predicted Cherry Blossoms Blooming in Winter
·     2019: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (2028 D-Presidential candidate) claims,  “We’re, like, the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change.”
Okay, enough of this nonsense.  I can’t keep up…is it extreme heat or cold that is going to destroy us? The “predictors” need to hold a convention to get their “alarms” in order.

Then you have the likes of John Kerry preaching to us from his private jet with comments like, “Confronting climate change is, in the long run, one of the greatest challenges that we face, and you can see this duty or responsibility laid down in scriptures, clearly.” Hmm, I don’t think the Bible “clearly” speaks about climate change, John. Isn’t it God Who created the earth (and everything else)? Isn’t He in charge of rain, snow, sunshine etc.?

As far as Scripture goes, God will one day erase this current universe and replace it with the New Heaven and New Earth (Revelation chapters 21-22). So John, please step away from the pulpit. And furthermore, we are not going to again listen to the then 15-year-old Greta Thunberg, who wagged her finger as she admonished us with, “How dare you!”

When God created Adam, He put him (and ultimately us) in charge of caring for the land, animals, sea creatures etc. (Genesis 2) The majority of Americans (conservatives included) are in-tune with this responsibility, as well as alternative forms of energy i.e. solar, wind, electric vehicles (EV), etc. What the sensible majority of us are opposed to is it being shoved down our throats…MANDATED!  We had enough of that with COVID.

For years we have been told that rising CO2 levels will destroy the atmosphere and eventually us. With that said, I’m a bit confused. CO2 is necessary for tree and plant life, which keeps our environments green. The same carbon dioxide we put into the air from burning fossil fuels is plant food; as all the carbon in a tree or plant comes from the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. And plant life produces oxygen, which, in case we haven’t noticed, is essential for human life. Greening the earth is a better idea than “the Green New Deal.” While the government is tyrannically trying to stop our use of fossil fuels, such as natural gas, they are spending countless tax-payer dollars on simply “passing gas!”

What the government, or whoever, needs to stop doing is stunts that Bill Gates and other climate crazies are attempting to do like “sun dimming” or “solar geoengineering.” In the UK, experiments are being conducted to dim sunlight by injecting “aerosols” into the atmosphere, or cloud seeding to produce clouds that reflect sunshine back into the atmosphere.

Over the past decade, independent testing of “Chemtrails” around the country has shown a dangerous, extremely poisonous brew that includes: barium, nano aluminum-coated fiberglass, radioactive thorium, cadmium, chromium, nickel, etc. Aluminum has a history of damaging brain function.

Military and commercial planes are involved in more than 60 secret operations. It is almost a daily occurrence to witness a beautiful bright blue sky in the early morning morph into a checkerboard-pattern sky blanketed with many grayish-white lines (miles and miles long). At first, these lines are thin; but soon they expand and, in a short time, merge together. And, they don’t dissipate like normal condensation trails from planes. We are being poisoned by a toxic haze that blots out and greatly diminishes our usual sunshine.

China and India are the real culprits of not taking care of our environment. China has massive fields of EV cars with rotting batteries. Crazy Joe, AOC, Krazy Kerry, and all the other climate clowns have mandated we all get electric vehicles. What happens to those batteries when they die? Eventually the thousands of wind turbines will one day fail, as will the thousands of solar panels. What happens to them? The answer—LANDFILLS!

The climate alarmists who preach and demand they are doing all of this to save the environment, are actually destroying the environment. All the hazardous waste from which these products are made, will eventually go into the earth they are so desperately trying to save.

Individually, we can do what we can to take care of God’s creation. Yet, when we have evil lurking to destroy the environment and us, Earth Day is kind of a waste. This isn’t how God designed it!

“Then God saw everything that He had made, and

indeed it was very good.”                  Genesis 1:31

The Earth didn’t come with a instruction manual or thermostat, only God knows what the temperature should be since He created it. Man with his puny 3lb brain is not capable of understanding God’s creation let alone fixing its supposed short comings. We are not of this world anyway, we are spirit beings here for only a short time. God can create another earth in a twinkle of an eye, so I am not too concerned. I don’t dump motor oil down the drain, litter, or do any other preventable blatant poisoning of the planet, but I don’t worship it either, it is all temporary!

I think my normal “celebration” of earth day consists of firing up my John Deere lawn tractor and giving my lawn its first mow of the season. It’s also when I get my convertible out of storage and taking a long gas guzzling ride in it.

Earth Day is another trick of the devil; it teaches man to worship things created and not the Creator, and instills pride into man so that they believe that they are in control of everything. People must submit and surrender unto GOD ALMIGHTY. Time is short, and KING JESUS is Coming Soon… HALLELUJAH!!!

“On behalf of environmentalists everywhere,  I would like to formally apologize for the climate scare we created over the last 30 years. Climate change is happening. It’s just not the end of the world. It’s not even our most serious environmental problem. “ JUNE 29, 2020

Grifters like AlGore make millions on this dog and pony show. CO2? Just try living without it. The climate addicts would have us living on bugs and goop meat while they dine on caviar and prime cuts. Grifters and fakes made into millionaires from pain inflicted on the rest of us.

Back in the 70’s we were warned about global cooling. Then along came the global warming fanatics. Now it’s climate change crazies. I got news for ’em. The earth has been everything from a ball of ice to tropical forest. In general in recent history it has been warming since the last ice age ended and will continue to warm until the next ice age begins. It is a natural cycle! Man has little if anything thing to do with affecting the weather. Scheeech!

Earth Day is simply humanistic paganism. God has called us to be good stewards of His creation. We are not to worship His creation.

I really wanted an answer that combined 1 and 2. It makes sense to take care of the planet for future civilizations, but there are too many extremists that have politicized the issues for profit and control.

The 1st Earth Day, I & my fellow students picked up trash along the roads near our school. It was, then, presented to us as a chance to be good stewards of our day-to-day world. Now, it’s a Leftist tool to guilt ppl into falling for every silly climate change myth they throw out.
Earth Day is 1 more day I’m glad DJT is president & the Left is constrained. Now, if only we could constrain the evil happening under the gold domed Stat Capitol in far-Left extremist control of my home, Colorado!!

The earth is dying and the sky is falling has become their mantra for scams and money grabs. Dear Gen Z, the predicted years for the end if the earth have come and gone so many times since I was your age, and we are still here. AOC predicted 15 years about 5 years back, do you really think in 10 years we all will be burned up or whiped off the earth? Do not be gullible, it is your tax dollars that will be funding this nonsense.

in geology 101 i learned that the earth is still coming out of the last ice age, so of course it is gradually getting warmer. It was warmer when the dinosaurs were here. II believe mother earth will survive in spite of our neglect. We really don’t need to mess up where we live though. Please stop throwing junk in the oceans, creatures live there.

The first so-called “earth day” was “celebrated” on April 22, 1970, which just happened to be the 100th anniversary on Vladimir Lenin’s birth. Coincidental? Some people back then didn’t think so.

We worship the Creator not the created. However, we have always been judicious with what has given us and cared for our property and our pets; picked up litter where we have run across it and made our environment better than when we received it from the hand of God. We have always been good stewards of what God has entrusted to us and do not need a special day set aside to remember it. Everyday is special to us because it is the day the Lord has given, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Earth Day like climate change and black history day, month, year, trans Easter Sunday, like in 2024. Are all days to destroy the majority of this country and another way to make us obey and bow to the progressive dictators on the left.

I believe there is another side to this. While there are people claiming the sky is falling and the demise of the earth, we in many ways aren’t helping. Yes countries like China and India are the biggest polluters, but what about the “land” developers that clear cut thousands of acres of beautiful forests to build cookie cutter homes with a single spindly tree in front so that it qualifies for a VA loan. This seems to be the only approach to home building in the south. When my first home was built in the late 70s, they cleared enough to build the home, while leaving many trees, which created a beautiful neighborhood where there was balance. Land raping isn’t good. There has to be a balance between man and nature

I have been recycling since 1969, we are forunate in CA we have had curbside recycling
for a very long time. .We are one of the few states that offer this service.. When I travel I cring at all the stuff I see go into the garbage. That is now one of the few things that CA has done in favor of saving the world. Gas at $4.49 at Costco today.. A barrel is now down in the mid to low $60″s per barrel. These idiots in the legislature don’t get it, one party rule. Tax till you die and then your estate is taxed on things you have already paid
taxes on.

The only thing we should be celebrating or observing is thanking God that He gave us a beautiful planet and that He is in control. Do we have a responsibility for the health of the earth? Yes. Do we worship the creation over the creator? No. God is in control. We are not. Simple.

All one has to do is look around at the things “climate change” has created over millions of years: The Grand Canyon, the Great Lakes, the Black Hills, and so many other stunningly beautiful creations … all due to the shifting of the Earth, the rain, the wind, etc. The center of the earth is thousands of degrees hot, which causes the soil to keep churning, giving us fresh dirt in which to plant the food we eat, and the flowers we enjoy. The pressure from the center of the Earth causes grinding and shifting, and mountains are formed. Landslides, earthquakes, floods, all of the “bad” things that occur are MEANT to happen. They refresh the Earth. Yes, all of these things are the result of “climate change” … but, the climate HAS to change. If it were stagnant, we would all die. Nothing would grow. Everything would die.

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

Al Gore, acting as the official mouthpiece for all of the oligarchs of the, Soros, John Kerry, Bill Gates, and every global company, that has made several fortunes through the use of paid corrupted scientific data I say round them up. Then make them repay all of the windfall profits they have made to the American taxpayers. They are pathological liars, each and everyone. Wind generators and solar panels are creating the greatest waste disposal environmental since nuclear waste.

Earth day is what you get when a bunch of lazy hippie leaches over-indulge in weed. I know because I was there. These people were useless Communists back then, and they’re useless Communists now.

They’re jealous of anyone who’s willing to work hard, or smart, and get wealthy. They’ll either take away your ability to get wealth, or just take your wealth. The climate change agenda is their way of keeping you where they want you. It has nothing to do with “Mother Earth.”

I’m not convinced Earth Day was conceived for anything BUT the environmental whack jobs to raise money to push falsities about the state of the environment and otherwise push their extremist views. Given the fact the day came and went without me even realizing it is proof positive of that.

EVERY day should be “Earth Day”, in that we should all do those little things every day to help maintain a clean environment and a healthy Earth. We don’t need to do it all in one day.
