I have pretty much limited my watching of sports to one team, one sport, nothing in between. If they continue to politicize sports I will quit watching altogether.

I am done with sports. All have become political. They used to be an escape from the political world but anymore one by one they have caved. From protesting the flag/anthem to BLM. Also never forget when the so-called pandemic was in full swing these millionaire athletes were still playing collecting their millions while the grandstands were empty including the vendors and the saying was “we are all in this together” Total BS!

It pains me to say it but it looks like I won’t be watching the Olympics either. I doubt they will throw the “anti Americans”, Americans off the team. Too bad, I haven’t missed one since the 60’s.

I am a longtime baseball fan. I will not be watching the So Called All Star Game or the Home Run Derby. MLB decision to move the game from Atlanta to Denver was outrageous. If MLB wants to kick Georgia we dont have to join in.

We don’t watch MLB, NFL, or NBA at all anymore. They chose who they wanted to side with, so we chose to no longer have anything to do with them.

I am done with sports. All have become political. They used to be an escape from the political world but anymore one by one they have caved. From protesting the flag/anthem to BLM. The country that gave them the most is the one they hate and want to destroy. What about Latino and Asians. You doe see them destroying this country. Also stop buying from all Woke sponsors who fund and promote Wokeism.

I used to be an avid sports fan, who loved watching MLB and the NFL. Not anymore! After all of the team and players political statements as well as the political displays on the field condemning all police officers in America as racist, I no longer watch or attend any games. They have lost a lifelong fan!

I don’t even buy COKE products any more. This whole thing with MLB nosing into politics like this is just WRONG. Live and let live, honor God our Almighty Father and your path is guided with ease. I am 70, and never before have I seen and felt such unrest in this Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. ????????????????

Our behavior and were we spend our money is a vote. Do not support extreme views by tacit approval. Tactics of the left, like boycotts, have to be answered with the same.

I quit watching professional or college sports.
I became a firearms instructor and spend my time passing on my knowledge of the constitution, specifically the second amendment and the use of firearms.
Most of my classes are pro Bono or for materials only.
Crime and communism is taking over. You better prepare yourselves. There are two types of republicans in office, RINOS and cowards that are scared for their lives, careers and family for doing what is right for the country.
Soon we the people will have a choice, succumb or fight. The rule of law is lost and the legislature and the Supreme Court is full of cowards.
There is no leader in sight and we the people will be left to our own resources for survival. Better wake up and prepare yourselves. You are way behind if you start today.
Good luck!!

No, what MLB did to Atlanta was wrong. The team, the ownership did nothing to warrant moving the game. Disadvantaged were those who have their income secondary to baseball being in town such as vendors, parking attendants, hotels, restaurants, etc. I have essentially lost interest in baseball and this predates MLBs screw up with the all star game. Today, it is a boring game, one of home runs or strike outs. Hit and runs, double steals, delayed steals, bunting, are all lost skills. Some teams have closers opening following by the usual starting pitcher.

I stopped watching all major league and College sports one by one over the last three or four years. As each became “woke” and demonstrably became traitors to their own country, it was easy for me to decide what is really important.

Once sports became mixed with politics and “making a stand or taking a knee” became a nationwide spectacle on the playing field or by the race track, etc., the usual fun and excitement of watching a sporting event and cheering teams or racers on to victory quickly became a thing of the past.

Georgia’s new election law is designed to protect serious, law-abiding, American voters from the overwhelming acts of fraud we all heard about or saw via security camera footage during the 2020 presidential election, in hope that it will never happen again in that state or anywhere else.

Voting to me is a privilege which I take very seriously and as a past victim of identity theft, I do not want to have to prove who I am when I go to the polls. When I moved to my new home five years ago, one of my first actions was to notify my county’s Board of Elections of my move to another district. I looked forward to signing the old-fashioned County Board of Elections registry book before casting my vote, which basically tells them that I am the same person who came into the polls four years earlier in my old hometown.

The Left is wielding an all out campaign to destroy America and everything good and right about this land, especially how spectator sports like Major League Baseball has always brought us together as a people, regardless of politics, race, religion, etc. This is all part of the larger “Build, Back, Better” scheme to take away our freedom and the American way of life and replace it with corporate-sponsored Communism.

Furthermore, there is nothing “Jim Crow 2021” about this new law which bumbling Biden recently declared. When the Left is challenged, they always invoke the evil spirit of racism-especially against black people- to come to their defense. This new voting law is a way to protect responsible Georgians-both black and white and every skin color in between-so that their vote will count!

I will watch some of the game – not all. Unfortunately, politics has squeezed into sports, especially basketball. Where most of the players are illiterate in m any ways.

No, I’ve given up pro and college sports several years ago when the kneeling started. Management is afraid to enforce rules and regulations to avoid being called racist.

I hope ALL pro sports (not golf!) go belly up financially.

Screw the “professional” dipsticks in “professional” sports. Why waste your time watching idiots play a children’s game? Are you too shallow or boring to find constructive things to do with your time? Viewership ratings help pay for these children to keep their money, homes, and “influence” over the ignorant masses.

I used to watch sports all the time. Since the kneeling and disrespect, for the country and the people who made them rich in the first place, I shut it all off and will never participate again. Shame on the owners of the team’s, allowing this behavior.

As with most of the comments below, the merger of PC-ness into the realm of pro (and college) sports was the beginning of the end for my interest in all of them. I feel bad for the players who really have no say in this and just want to break into the leagues and play the sports they love, but until they (and by “they” I mean the very likely majority of pro athletes) take a stand and say “no more,” it’s only going to get worse. The professional athletes need a leader to step forth and refuse to play until the PC garbage ends and these leagues and their commissioners return exclusively to doing what the exist to do, ie, play their games and entertain us through competition, and nothing more. Until that happens, my time and my entertainment money, go elsewhere.

Where do I start with pro sports? Overpaid Prima Donna’s? Disrespectful to the nation. The politics of the moving of the All Starless game? As said below, the only sport I follow and watch on TV and pay for a ticket is NASCAR. (I don’t think the fans will tolerate the political BS. If they allow it, that fan base will quickly disappear.) Once an avid sports fan, I stopped watching. I’m not alone…..just look at the ratings. One final thought…..The bloated player salaries are supported by the advertising dollars of the large conglomerates. Who pays for that? We do, whether your’re a sports fan or not….everything you purchase has a bloated price created by the sponsors that support this nonsense.

No way no football, baseball, and absolutely no basketball that one I can say that I have never watched a game of basketball in my 68 years of life. If you want to disrespect my flag, my country, or my military there’s no place in my home, Heart, or my life for you ,or your propaganda it’s just that simple! Oh yeah and as far as the Olympics I haven’t watched it in years also I don’t need their political propaganda neither.

Right now college football is all i watch… and i may stop watching that if the athletes get too political….
Athletes today don’t get! While the have the right to speak up…i have the right to not watch. These folks are gifted with a skill and are making millions playing a child’s game..well. NOBODY wants to hear their opinion we just to be entertained and enjoy their talent.

For love of country and respect for all that formed and fought for our country we refuse to watch cupcake organizations, that have no backbone. I and all my male cousins served for love of country and sense of duty. I, a white gringo, served under black Sargents, that to this day, I appreciate the comradeship that we had as fellow Americans. Cancel Culture is Crap (CCC). My dad rode empty train coal cars from the east coast to the CCC camps in Idaho. Don’t confuse the new CCC with Roosevelt’s CCC. (Civil Conservation Corps). Of course the cupcakes, with their head in the sand and deprived of history will never be Patriotic. It’s sad that the poor soles, who worked to be more successful monetarily then most of us, can be so ungrateful that they were able to do that because of equal opportunity. Yes we all in America have equal opportunity, but not equal outcome; which is the result determination and effort.

I forgot about moving the venue because of election politics. I was highly disappointed by that. But, that’s the league, not the players. In the games I have watched I have not seen the disrespect for the Country or the Flag mentioned in other comments, and as seen in other sports. Interesting to me because many MLB players are not US Citizens. As for the money, that’s all part of the market system. Are we only part-time capitalists; only capitalists when it suits us?
