Just about anybody would be an improvement to replace the Wisconsin Wimp.
You’ll notice that Ryan decided to split as soon as Trump started kicking ass and taking names.
Ryan never had the stomach to be a bona fide leader .. and Trump has proved that observation true through shear will power and
a whole lot of hard work. Just look at the GDP numbers released today for Q2 if you need any more proof – 4.1% !
Must be terribly embarrassing for a man of Ryan’s age to be outworked by a seventy something year old man. WINNING/MAGA !

Well Jim Jordan would be focused on making sure the House runs on fiscally and constitutionally conservative principles. That should terrify the RINO’s in the Republican House membership, which would make a great wake-up call and re-focus the House on getting positive things done for the people of the country. Which is great improvement over Paul Ryan’s focus of maintaining the status quo. As for McCarthy, that is simply voting for the status quo. Sorry, if that offends anyone, but he was in the leadership under both Boehner and Ryan. So how much different do you really think he would run the House than either of those two? This isn’t about rewarding someone with a promotion, because of seniority or he’s a nice guy. This is about putting someone in charge that both believes in the Trump agenda and is willing to speed up the pace to get it enacted. Watching Ryan yesterday defending his Better Way Plan over the Trump agenda just drove home the point that Ryan has to be shoved out of the Speaker position as quickly as possible and replaced by someone aligned with Trump’s and our views.

Mr Anybody (but not a Ryan/GOP neverTrumper) will do a good job. And, if he mucks up, it will only cost the country 2 years, until 2020 then we can vote him out, and so on…

Until we get term limits for Congress and other positions, we will just flip flop from Marxist Dems to Rino-ism with an occasional “Trump” thrown into the mix and nothing will change. What has Congress fixed for the better over the last 30-40 years? Nada. The problems have gotten bigger and the progression toward the destruction of our country and its Constitution has accelerated. Congress will never agree to limit its power as the Deep State of bureaucracy struggles to survive to maintain power. It doesn’t matter who is running the show because most politicians are corrupt beyond belief.

PaulE describes my exact sentiment (stole my thunder!). More importantly, NOW is the time to start contacting your House Representative and tell him/her you support Jordan for Speaker. Let them know your feelings and do not let up – phone, email, twitter, Facebook, etc. Here is the link to find information for your Representative: https://www.house.gov/representatives or call: (202) 224-3121. Please help get Jim Jordan into the Speaker position – thank you!

Hey AMAC, how about starting a petition to be sent to House members to start a NO Confidence vote for Paul Ryan, ask them to start the procedure to remove Ryan NOW! What an incompetent fool. DEAR REPUBLICAN HOUSE MEMBERS PLEASE START ACTING LIKE DEMOCRATS AND VOTE AS A BLOCK! What’s the point of owning the House, Senate and Presidency if you can’t pass anything without support from our (NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC (SOCIALIST) PARTY?) You know, I wanted to expand on this thought but thought it might be toooooo negative for some folks and they might want to send me nasty grams. You see I had to post my email address in order to post this response. So AMAC plz remove email addresses so we won’t feel so intimidated. Thks Jer

Having heard Rep. Jordan on a number of radio interviews over the past 2 years it has lead me to feel we, the people, will be better served having him as the Speaker of the House.
Unlike Ryan, he wants the job.

He appears well versed on the issues we face and quite knowledgeable of the
rules & regulations of the House & Constitutional procedures. Something that has been weakly adheared to by Ryan & McCarthy.
We need to call our representatives and tell them to support Jordan for Speaker.

Rep. McCarthy has had the chance to be a leader and I feel he has missed the opportunity. He’s a lame duck from the current republican management.

Anyone could do a better job than Ryan with two exceptions. Kevin McCarthy is a idiot! Scalise, bless his heart is a close second.
These are the current leaders that have FAILED to seriously act on the Trump agenda.
Passing crap just to say we back the President is not getting the job done.
I received a email from the Scalise campaign saying that he is “relentless” to pass the presidents agenda.

That would be a new twist to reality!

McCarthy is too much of a RINO, a Ryan act-alike. Ryan can’t hold a candle to Jordan’s candor.

Of Jim Jordan, Steve Scalise, and Kevin McCarthy – Jim would be best . . . just the fact that the evil people who accuse officials tried to tie him to the sexual crimes of that doctor in OH – OH State, and he had the character to fight it and defend his honor – that shows bad people do NOT want him in this role, so I’m for him getting it. That’s only different from President Trump by the fact that Trump has done wrong things in his past, but sure seems on the right path now. Whereas Jordan is not necessarily perfect, but has no record of doing dumb stuff earlier in his career – he has always been in the good side.

Scalise & McCarthy would not be Bohner type people, but they wouldn’t be as good as Jordan can be.

He would be an excellent leader of the House.
Ryan was to middle of the road; afraid to flex
his muscles… The Republicans biggest failure
is their inability to engage the Democrats.. go
“toe to toe”.. Jordan I hope will be different and
let them know who’s in charge!

The last time the Republicans made a real change in the House was when Newt Gingrich was the speaker. Jordan reminds me a lot of him. We have a twenty TRILLION dollar national debt. The last thing we need is another RINO who thinks we can go along the way we have been doing without some fundamental changes in entitlements.

I am very thankful that Jim Jordan has chosen to run for Speaker of the House. I believe he will be a welcome change from the establishment elites in Washington. I believe he will fight for what is right. I was set to write to him and tell him to run when he came out and said he was. If you indeed want real changes made in Washington, start with Jim Jordan.

I am all for anyone from the Freedom Caucus. While we’re at it….let’s get rid of Mitch McConnell in the Senate. Another useless Swamp Creature.

And…I’d love to see Trump fire Rosenstein, Sessions and Chris Wray. They are all mistakes that need correcting. I have had it with all of them. Idiots…

Majority leader Kevin McCarthy is a RINO. We need a real conservative for a change. Like he said, they need to do the things in Washington they told their constituents they would do if they got to Washington.

Congressman Jordan is made of the same personality mold I see in his peers, Trey Gowdy, Jason Chaffetz and Darrell Issa. A person of conviction, credibility and integrity, more of a patriot and statesman than the ilk of a career politician. I see an individual with the same values and determination to defend our inalienable personal rights and freedoms as the Founders intended. He is one of the leaders of the new generation of true conservatives not a member of the old out of touch corruptible lot of politicians that are offering America more of the same, promise the world deliver nothing, politicians of immense bureaucracy that infest Washington D.C.’s hallowed halls. He has the will to represent the people and defend the Constitution and return the Rule of Law to government.

He led the Republican Study Committee and is a member of the Freedom Caucus. How’s that for a resume? Speaker Ryan held such high hopes, but turned out to be more of an establishment kinda guy, perhaps because of his VP nomination, and that was disappointing. Mr. Jordan has made it very clear where he believes the House needs to go–no ambiguity.

If your tired of the lies that spew out of Paul Ryan’s mouth along with all the other lying lovers of globalization. Jim Jordan will be the antidote that puts a stop to that !! We should demand a Conservative voice at Speaker of the House !! No more lies, no more back room deals !! Jim Jordan is the man that will have President Trump’s back. And ours. If your tired of being tired, then Jim Jordan is your man !! God Bless America !!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim Jordan has a “can do” straightforward approach. To paraphrase him on Hannity: “We make the job of being a member of Congress way too complicated. It’s pretty simple. What did you tell the people you were going to do? Go do that!” Check out his what he said – and what he does. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkX0cM_EgJ0

Paul Ryan should LEAVE the House ASAP, so we can replace him with a STRONG LEADER and hopefully get Important work completed before upcoming elections in November

I watched him on Judiciary Committee hearing on FBI and Peter Strozk. He was relentless and asked very good questions. I also watched him on Hannity and he was firm, explained the reasons why he was running and promised to let members elect the committee chair and make sure the campaign promises to the voters are voted on.

These are out only choices? We need someone who will pull the republican party together. I’m not convinced either if these reps can. My biggest concern is holding seats so the admin agenda can stand and move forward.
