Political activism with prepared letters to State and Federal legislative bodies supporting or opposing policies from the majority of conservative responses. AMAC should be our conservative lobbyists and help get our message to the correct individuals in government.

For myself and others living on SS and small pensions, reminders from the past on how people lived on less. The old fashioned ways we lived without AC and less electricity. Foods that our depression era mothers made that were healthy and cost little. Ways we were kept healty on homemade medicine and treatments.

All of the topics are worthy of doing ‘more’ articles. As I’ve shared with leadership, IMHO, the affordability crisis is clearly the push by the left and numbers on the right too. AMAC should consider a series on the single biggest cost for most Americans, the need for more housing. Without more affordable housing, there will be more homelessness, a sad and growing reality among seniors and other age groups. I’d be willing to help.

Personally, I would like to see more of how we can deal with and possibly eliminate the Socialist mentality prevalent in the Democratic Leaders of this Country. They obviously slept through the lessons on World History they should have learned in High School. They turn a deaf ear to the words of the people who actually lived during World War II, especially those who escaped from Countries such as Germany.

Those Democrats see themselves as the ones who would be in control and the rest of us the Proletariats who would no longer be allowed to own Property, no longer allowed to keep the money they earned, and would be completely under their control. They constantly harangue about the Billionaires and what they own. Well, Bill Gates and Zuckerberg created a product that people wanted. People paid to own that product and there was nobody forcing them to purchase those products. Both men, and I am not fond of either of them, used their money wisely and amassed their fortune through their earnings. Socialists believe that the Government should own proprietary rights to what those men created and would give them only a small portion of their earnings, saying the Government actually owns their Company and their profits.

It is truly sad that people actually support this thinking.

I just recently thought I would give AMAC’s Rosemark investment services a try. After my initial contact I received an email that said something to the effect of ‘I received your voice mail message, yadda, yadda.’ The only problem is that I did not call/leave a voice mail message. Scam. So I would say less advertising from unvetted sources.

An ongoing topic, including the data, what are local, state and federal bureaucracies spending our money on.
In today’s computer age ALL the information and dollars need to be exposed monthly.
Our government hides their activities and keeps the public in the dark. DEMAND information and publish it.

How about changing your polls to multiple choice or add “All of the Above” to your poll list! All of the choices on this poll are equally important.

Talk about better and more affordable housing for low income seniors and why the heck do ALL 55+ communities only cater to the very wealthy? How about more affordable services made available for seniors and better and more affordable healthcare for seniors.

Where is the Trump administration on NO MORE TAXES ON SOCIAL SECURITY? WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT? Also, where are they on all the social security/Medicare FRAUD by illegal aliens and foreign fraud rings???? They have only been going after Medicaid/welfare fraud and fake healthcare companies in individual states, but I haven’t heard anything on all the social security and Medicare fraud!! Are there any updates on these?

I would like to see a column where members could comment/describe products that we are bombarded with their commercials on TV, some claims are absolute falsehoods, yet many seniors keep falling for these wasteful schemes, just my thought.

The Left has two, most crucial thrusts that they are making in order to
gain complet control of the country. The shorter game…illegal immigration.
They want to let in, then naturalize aliens so they have a permanent Democrat
voting block. This is deliberate. This isn’t “incompetence”.For some reason, my fellow conservatives won’t “come up to the mountaintop” and see what the Left is doing. .Your political enemy is intelligent. The long game? Education
K-12. Why do you think Hillary Clinton is doing her usual “accusing the conservatives
of doing what she/the Left is doing” routine when it comes to education promoting “Why Fascists Fear Teachers” by Randi Weingarten (president of the American Federation of Teachers). It’s a chutzpah browbeat. Of course, the Marxists/Leftist *have been* and want to continue controlling education so they can to various degrees indoctrinate the students. We know they haven’t been educating them.(i.e. abyssmal reading and math skills).
Get wise, crackers.
1) Naturalizing aliens for a permanent Democratic voting block.Short term game.
2) Controlling education to indoctrinate the next generation.Long term game.

These are the two areas I think AMAC should address in an *effective* way.

If the Left succeeds in these things you’ve lost the country.

I enjoy reading about all of the topics listed. I would add an investigation of the deep
bias against the elderly. Ageism shows itself in both overt and covert ways. The complexity of fraud schemes and rapid mandatory technology changes mandated on
elders with weak or no family support is unfair. As a church nurse I see Americans who
have worked hard to make this country strong demeaned because they can’t use a computer due to eye disease. Medicare wants them to “draw a clock” at their medical screening. Services needed are not provided and they tell me how afraid and embarrassed they are for failing the test. They are smart enough to recognize society’s utilitarianism. They are being told to start digging the hole.

I would like to be able to follow what happens with the many investigations into the corrupt and treasonous acts of our elected officials and their cohorts in our government institutions, in the media, and in deceptive NGOs. We hear about investigations all of the time and then nothing becomes of them; we never get to know the truth and no one is ever held accountable.

AMAC is a senior based organization. Period. Address senior topics and stay in your lane. Don’t be like AARP or teachers union commies and comment on topics outside you stated purpose. There are many news and social media sources to get political and social news. Not saying global evens don’t affect seniors, they do but keep it limited.

As a senior living on a fixed income, the rising cost of living is frightening. Every trip to the grocery store seems to cost more, and it is getting harder to stretch a monthly budget enough to cover food, utilities, rent, and medicine. The medical crisis in this country makes it even worse, because many seniors have to worry about doctor bills, prescription costs, and whether they can afford the care they need. At this age, no one should have to choose between buying groceries and taking care of their health. We need real solutions that protect seniors and make basic necessities affordable again.

All topics are worthy of more information for members. Some of them I currently can get from other sources but I do appreciate reading about them from a more conservative viewpoint. I selected the financial security option. (My wife laughed at me for that.) I’d like to read more about how to save, make, or even spend money without it being written by someone who is trying to sell me something. (That’s why I am not really interested in your Rosemark “services”.) For example, I like the Ask Rusty column, but it is narrowly focused.

The top two in the items offered plus the financial help are top importance to me. All are of value though. Cover what you can with the staffing you have. Don’t try to do too much or all will suffer. Hang in there, just like the rest of us. Thank you for all that you do. One Question, since Thune pulled a dirty on all of us…. Why couldn’t JD Vance take over and call all of the Senate back into session to address passing the important funding issues and the Save America Act? The childish actions we are seeing could hurt us big time in the mid-term elections. A move ASAP by JD Vance and President Trump has the potential of really saving the day.
