AMAC Exclusive – By Andrew Abbott

Biden

In a sea of bad polls, a new national poll was released last week that prompted at least one outlet to ask if it was President Joe Biden’s “worst poll yet.” According to this new report, Biden’s approval rating is below 43% in 46 states, topping that number in only Hawaii, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maryland – and even then, Biden didn’t top 50% in any state. Worse, the President is at just 23% with independents. These numbers are so bad that many Democrats are distancing themselves from Biden ahead of the midterms. But as Biden’s White House scrambles to do damage control, several top Democrats who warned of this very outcome are likely shaking their heads and saying, “I told you so.”

Last year, veteran Democrat campaign operative James Carville went viral with his assessment of Biden’s first 100 days in office during an interview with Vox. Rather than joining with the media and most other Democrats in acting as a cheerleader for the President, Carville warned that “wokeness is a problem, and everyone knows it.” He asserted that, despite Biden’s apparent obsession with appeasing hardcore progressives, “the only way Democrats can hold power is to build on their coalition, and that will have to include more rural white voters from across the country.”

Carville also cautioned Democrats to reject policies like “abolishing the police” and running as “out-and-out socialists.” Instead, he recommended the party shift toward the center. If the Democratic Party could maintain its coalition and make more substantial inroads with white rural voters and moderates by focusing on issues that mattered to them, Carville argued, Democrats could hold power long-term.

While Carville’s statements were reported extensively, his most overlooked line turned out to be his most prophetic. When the interviewer asked him about advocates who say, “Democrats should pass everything they possibly can, no matter the costs, and trust that the voters will reward them on the back end,” Carville replied that “the Democratic Party can’t be more liberal than Senator Joe Manchin. That’s the fact. We don’t have the votes.”

Ironically, at the time, mainstream media proclaimed the exact opposite. Article after article asserted that Senator Bernie Sanders was the true power center in D.C., not Senator Manchin. Following the passage of the $1.9 trillion American rescue plan, the media celebrated Bernie’s essential work, praising Sanders as “the longtime outsider, irritant of the Democratic and Republican establishments, and cantankerous gadfly” who was “proving shrewd at playing the inside game from his powerful new perch atop the Senate Budget Committee.”

With a majority that hinges on a tie-breaking vote from Vice President Kamala Harris, the notion that this leftward lunge could last was always a fantasy, but the media ran with it nonetheless.

Many dismissed Carville’s criticism as another “establishment,” “white,” “boomer” who was out of touch with the new direction of the Democratic Party. But even Democrat data scientist David Shor, an avowed and proud socialist, echoed Carville’s concerns. As AMAC Newsline reported in April of last year, Shor said that Democrats had “ended up in a situation where white liberals are more left-wing than Black and Hispanic Democrats on pretty much every issue… So as white liberals increasingly define the party’s image and messaging, that’s going to turn off nonwhite conservative Democrats and push them against us.”

Like Carville’s analysis, Shor’s concerns proved prescient. Since his election, Biden has hemorrhaged support with every racial demographic. In 2020, Biden won the presidency with 92% of the black vote. In April of last year, 83% of black voters approved of the job he was doing. A recent poll found this support has dropped to 64%. The loss among blacks has been so severe that some outlets are musing if this failure will lead to Democrats losing black support for the first time since the 1960s. Biden’s numbers with Hispanics are even worse, and he now sits below 50% approval.

Perhaps most frustrating of all for Democrats like Carville and Shor, they seem to recognize that there is something fundamental about the psychology of the radical left that won’t allow the Democratic Party to take their advice. As Carville said in another interview earlier this month, “there’s a significant part of the Democratic Party that doesn’t mind losing if it allows them to be pure. We’re obsessed with purity. That has got to stop.”

But Democrats, and President Biden in particular, show no signs of stopping or even slowing down on their path to defeat this fall. While some individual Democrats have desperately attempted to make a hard turn toward the center, the ideological inertia of the party appears to be set in concrete. And that may just seal the party’s fate, in this election and many more to come.

Theoretically, the 2022 midterms should be a cake walk for the Republicans to re-take both chambers of Congress by huge margins for a multitude of reasons. Note I said theoretically. While the Democrats have done exactly what they promised to do while campaigning in 2020 and achieved the exact results one would have expected from implementing such socialist policies, the response to this so-called golden opportunity from a lot of Republicans running for re-election to Congress has been tepid to say the least.

Aside from the 18 to 19 RINOs that continually assist the Democrats in key votes (they all need to be replaced by constitutional conservatives or winning the majority won’t much matter), the rest of the congressional Republicans seem to be stuck on simply repeating the phrase “Historically speaking, the party in the minority traditionally gains seats in the midterm elections.” As if that alone is going to provide a compelling reason FOR any Democrat or Independent voter to vote for any Republican candidate. To do that, you need to provide these people a series of compelling reasons, a set of specific deliverables, why voting for a Republican will result in better outcomes that benefit them. Sales 101, which is also politics 101.

McCarthy seems to have reluctantly acknowledged this glaring shortcoming in the Republican strategy and has engaged Newt Gingrich to hopefully fashion something akin to a new Contract with America type strategy. That is supposed to be out sometime in June. Better late than never I guess, but essentially throwing away the first half of 2022 in terms of building a larger Republican voter base.

Mitch McConnell on the other hand seems perfectly content with the current tepid strategy, as he and his merry band of 18 other RINOs continue to vote for disastrous things along with the Democrats. So how we actually fare in terms of the 2022 midterm results is very much a coin toss at the moment. Which perhaps has something to do with why the Democrats seem content to maintain their current course.

I love to hear the ‘insights’ of guys like Carville. It’s like watching that YouTube video of a monkey with it’s fist caught in a jar, unaware that it could be free if it would just drop the peanut. In other words, he and those like him are totally clueless as to why the Dems are hemorrhaging voters. He got close to the reason. Messaging is definitely a huge part of it, I think. But it isn’t just the ‘woke-speak’ jargon that is a turn-off for most. It’s the destructive ideaology behind the verbiage. That is the peanut they need to release. That, and the extreme condescension that is so pervasive in their party.

Wasn’t it Stalin who stated that in elections the vote doesn’t matter, the one who counts the votes matters. Everyone may vote against these socialist-democrats, but let us not assume that they have to already printed and filled in the ballots. Check under every desk for boxes, do not leave the election room unattended.

Please vote in 2022 in large numbers. We can overcome the fraud by winning bigly. The smaller elections like House Rep elections are harder for the Rats to cheat in because they are small usually encompassing a few counties. So please go vote. We will take the House and the Senate looks promising too. WE can take this country back and stop the madness, but only if we show up in very large numbers. And I think we will. KAG

We can’t go on with the present Administration. They are bullies. They have no concern for the American People. I see things like Joe Biden did this or that. Joe Biden isn’t running this Country at all. I am not sure who is running this Country, but its not Joe Biden. His mind has gone astray and he can’t even be coherent. I won’t listen or watch him at all. Either Jill Biden, Nancy Pelosi, or Schumer is running things behind the scenes. Could even be Obama, Clinton or the Bushes. I didn’t vote for this man. I just can’t figure out why anyone would vote for him with his Dementia. I guess the only thing that happened is they didn’t like Trump. Personally I am not that crazy about Trump, but at the time I disliked Hilary Clinton and still dislike her. I felt like we needed a Business Man to run the Country. We are far from getting back to where we were long before the Bushes. I will never vote for a Democrat ever. That person would have to be a Saint. We have had the Virus and still have lockdowns. Democratic Governors have to over thrown in order to get back to where we were before. Democrats just want Lockdowns to continue. Biden doesn’t really know anything. The Democrats in Congress need to be flushed out and sent packing. I think 90 percent of them have gone home to stay. Retired, decided that life in Washington DC is no picnic any more and that Americans are sick and tired of their antics. Doesn’t help to complain to your Senators or Reps. They know they are being shot down. Well they are going to get what they deserve. Ousted out in the Mid Terms.

Carville is partly right, people are turning against the Democrats because of their shift to the extreme left. Where he is wrong is he believes people will just keep voting for them if they at a minimum tell people “Oh, we have migrated to the middle to get your votes back.” After any election they will stick to the American people and go back to their extreme left-wing agenda. These politicians are liars and the people that vote for them are fools.

It is now common knowledge that the democrats committed massive voter fraud. States like Colorado where the democrats passed a law making election audits ended that debate. states that allowed counties to refuse to comply with court ordered release of election data to auditors ended that debate.

So now we are all aware of the corruption that led to our mentally ill president. then you add failure after failure and authoritarian mandates to the landscape and what you end up with is a citizenry that says the democrats need to have far less control then they have.

It is no longer about just the mandates or the masks. it is the very notion that the conservatives were right about fake news, brainwashing, fear mongering, and character assassination, Even people who hate trump now admit the democrats lied about him. Which means the democrats lied. sure many still say well all politicians do that, but they know there is an over the top democrat dishonest level.

So the democrats are goign to see the american people remove them from control and power. rightfully so. The smart democrats will admit the errors of the democrats and try to salvage things. Tulsi gabbard is a good example. The dumb democrats will double down and AOC is a good example of that.

It’s worse than they claim. When asked to list Biden’s accomplishments no one can name any. Yet he is directly responsible for most of the problems starting with energy costs and inflation. He claims a growing economy using data that reflects nothing but job recoveries from pandemic lows that were caused by democratic economic shutdowns! They caused a huge problem then claim some recovery from the low point as their great credit? Nothing is better now than it was under Trump. Race relations are worse, the border is complete chaos, inflation is killing those of us on fixed incomes and hurting everyone else except the wealthy and politicians, foreign policy is a shambles of weakness, shelves are empty, and he failed to defeat the virus which seems to be slowly petering out on its own as predicted long ago. I would add that not one single proposal on climate change including the total adoption of the nutty Green New Deal will have a single degree of climate difference 100 years from now, so that agenda is another failure. Then add the skyrocketing national debt which has been a problem for years but has gotten worse. Biden is a failure after just one year and an American disgrace.

Let the Democrats keep doing what they are doing they have started a Civil War that they can’t win. Once all the Democrats are dead and that doesn’t mean just the politicians, in a civil war the ones that vote for these stupid Democrats are then killed. After all the lazy stupid takers are gone we can then build this country back up to what it once was!

Shout-out to KELOWNA, BC. !!! Okanagen lake! Grandma had a beautiful house on the lake … Coho fishing, friendly folks … what’s not to like? The floating bridge was still intact last time I checked. FYI … I live in San Diego currently, and have lived mostly in California in my lifetime, although I’ve travelled a lot, both business and pleasure, including Europe & Asia/Pacific, and lived elsewhere at times in my early years with parents trying to figure out where best to “land” the plane. New York/New Jersey lost out to Southern California (thankyou mum ‘n dad! … THANK YOU! … no offence, but living in old tenement buildings back east sucks.)
