The Open Enrollment Period for 2025 Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace health insurance is now open, running from November 1 through January 15. During this time, you can explore, compare, and enroll in ACA-compliant health insurance plans or make changes to your current coverage. If you’re not covered by work, Medicare, or Medicaid, now is the time to secure health coverage for 2025.

Key dates to remember: Enroll by December 15 for coverage effective January 1, or complete enrollment by January 15 for coverage effective February 1. (Note that some states may have different deadlines—call us for state-specific information.) Missing Open Enrollment means you’ll need a qualifying life event, such as marriage or a job change, to sign up outside this window.

When choosing a plan, it’s essential to shop around. ACA plans cover comprehensive services like doctor’s visits, prescriptions, emergency care, and hospitalizations. However, plan features and prices can change annually. In addition, non-ACA-regulated options, such as health share plans, may offer affordable alternatives. Be sure to consult a licensed AMAC health agent to determine if a health share plan suits your needs.

Selecting health insurance is a significant decision. AMAC’s Health Insurance Division is here to help you understand your options, compare plans, and select coverage that fits your lifestyle and budget. Don’t wait until the last minute—call us today to ensure your coverage is effective by January 1!

Excuse me, but I thought the ACA was also known as “Obamacare” & I’m wondering why AMAC is pushing Democrat “healthcare”…… disgusting.

I’m wondering if the health care and or Medicare plans will be different after Trump takes office?
