Dear Mr. President:
Oh, good! As you put it, the inflationary pain we feel is “transitory.” Wait a second. Inflation is old news; we’re now in a recession. It’s not yet a Depression [with a capital “D”]…that would be depressing indeed.
Sarcasm aside, we are in a recession. What does that mean, Joe? It means that while you may have the big bucks to get by, the rest of us are left to pray that the recession doesn’t lead to a Depression. It can, you know. After all, Mr. Biden, you have almost two-and-a-half more years to screw things up. For we, simple citizens, it means hunger and a lot of angst. Remember the Great Depression? The one that had Americans scrounging for a bite to eat? Let’s pray to God that it doesn’t come to that. After all, you do keep telling us that what we are experiencing is just the transitory stage of the road to a better life. If we live that long.
I know that you and your socialist cronies in Congress are feeling the heat as the midterm elections approach. Believe me, it’s not “climate change” that’s making you sweat; it’s the fact that you and your Democrats in Congress have screwed up our lives. President Trump left you an economy that was thriving. Inflation was not an issue when you took office. You’ve got no one to blame for the mismanagement that led us to where we are now — struggling to put food on our tables, paying stupidly high prices to gas up our cars, and in general, having to live with the burden of uncertainty for our children, our elderly moms and dads, and ourselves.
You are right in thinking that everybody is against you. We’re not only against you, we are mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore.
Don’t you get it, Joe? Take a tip from the New York Times, a publication that is not so right, politically, but that gets it right in its reporting…once in a while. This story was published just a couple of weeks ago with the headline, As the Planet Cooks, Climate Stalls as a Political Issue. The lead paragraph reads, “Joe Manchin’s rejection of a compromise climate bill tells a familiar story: Voters and politicians put a higher premium on immediate issues, such as inflation and the economy, giving politicians a pass on global warming.”
God blessed America with an abundance of riches, not the least of which is a vast amount of petroleum reserves. The experts tell us that “the United States has proven reserves equivalent to 4.9 times its annual consumption.” So, get real Joe. Electric cars are not the answer — at least not in our lifetime. They’re too expensive. Only the wealthiest among us — folks like you and Madame Nancy Pelosi — can afford them. Give climate change a rest. You may think that it’s an issue that attracts voters but it only panders to the ideologues and the elitists. Give us, the not-so-wealthy segment of the population, a break.
As our Commander-in-Chief you owe us your help now more than ever. Help us, even if you have to upset the ignorant members of your party who think we weakling citizens don’t deserve your attention. Weak as we may be, broke as we might be, we vote too.
I am your age Joe, but I don’t have the financial resources that folks like you and Nancy Pelosi have. I will probably go broke if you don’t give us a break, as many of us will. You have an obligation to all American citizens, whether Democrat or Republican. You pledged to protect us.
President Biden, as Pennsylvania political pundit Russell S. Hepler told the Epoch Times recently, if you and your fellow Democrats “keep pushing this radical leftist, economic, environmental, and cultural agenda, there isn’t going to be much left to America. When you’ve got a Supreme Court nominee who can’t even define a woman, we know this nation is in serious trouble. You can’t survive if you deny reality. That has been the basis for Marxism since its beginning. It’s always based on lies. It’s based on, ‘whatever I say the truth is, as the government, as the party, as the big brother.’”
Let’s face it. You are not going to get a second term in office. The polls are against you and the socialist elements of your party are already plotting to replace you come the 2024 Presidential Election. But you still have a chance to perhaps exit with dignity and maybe, just maybe, be remembered as a likeable enough president, despite your past mishaps.

That letter was really too kind and not one I could have even faked writing. The author also failed to mention the two tiered, gestapo like justice system that now exists, the high increase of violent crimes, the lack of accountability for the BLM and Antifa rioters that burned down cities and costs hundreds of deaths and loss of wages to innocent bystanders, the abominable treatment of Jan. 6 protestors, Hunter’s laptop, the outright blatant lies told by him and his entire administration, and the millions and millions of money the Biden Crime family has earned by selling their soul to China. Now that they have no soul left, they are selling out America one acre of land after another. Slow Joe is nothing but another slime-ball snake who dirties the true foundations and principles of our constitution and sleazes up everything he touches. Just like his predecessors, Clinton and Obama.

I am a member of AMAC. I like AMAC. And I was so disappointed in this letter. Yes, I agree with the sentiments, but sarcasm and name-calling isn’t the way to influence people. It is beneath us. Speak the truth, but do so in a way that isn’t inflammatory if you want anyone of a different opinion to read past the first 3 sentences.
Could we make this letter assessible so that millions of Americans can sign it with an AMEN and then send off to his highness, “empty suit”

You are right on target with this letter. Someone in the Government has to take responsibility for the President’s actions before it’s too late to correct.
I am also, as the author of the open letter, of that “age group,” and I am certainly not destitute or homeless, but I, as anyone else who enters a grocery store, pumps gas in their car, orders (now only occasionally) in a restaurant, or routinely sees and pays ever-increasing utility, tax, insurance, credit card, et al, bills, SEE how our lives are changing before our very eyes. I don’t even remember the last time I actually bought a new item of clothing or shoes from a retail store; I know it was pre-Covid though. I know I don’t buy much steak anymore, or any fancy cuts of meats for that matter. I drink a lot more water now, since the price of milk skyrocketed. I am alarmed when I see that certain OTC meds I once took are now no longer “available” in any drug stores in my area. And of course, it doesn’t stop there. Lots of shelves are empty. I have to wonder how young families with several mouths to feed even get by anymore; I know what it costs to raise a family. I have to wonder about senior citizens who have not saved for retirement and are trying to just get by on their Social Security: what are they going without?
The only time, in my lifetime, that I ever experienced anything at all like this was during the Jimmy Carter years, when my husband and I had to sell our big car because we couldn’t afford the gas! And “travel” was out of the question! But, with the US being the breadbasket of the world, at least there was food on the table! But now we are seeing these food shortages that shouldn’t be happening with all the rich land in this country. We all see that something is very, very wrong.
No, this is NOT “transitory.” I am reading Glenn Beck’s latest book, THE GREAT RESET, and now my eyes are open as to what IS happening, and what HAS been happening over the last couple of decades, and it is truly scary. Unless people unite to stop our country from continuing down the ultra-liberal-left highway, we will not only lose our precious individual freedoms, but we will lose everything our forefathers fought and died for.
I only pray it isn’t too late.

Most people don’t realize that 7 million people died of malnutrition in the US during the great depression, they starved to death. We now have 3 times the population, so 20 million or more deaths here would truly make us a third world country. I guess that would make the democrats happy.
Mr. Carlstrom makes some very precise observations felt by all of us on the receiving end of this administration. I have confidence in Mr. Carlstrom that he represents the views of millions of Americans at this point in our history. However, my confidence in Mr. Biden to give attention to what Mr. Carlstrom has said, or any of us are saying, is less than existent. Mr. Biden has positioned himself as a tool of the Left and makes no appearance of changing at the risk of losing his base.

I am impressed if you actually made the effort to write to Biden, but my take on where it will end up, if it ever actually reaches Biden, will be in the round file. As I often tell myself when I am writing comments to articles, “I am just preaching to the choir”, and I am afraid that you are, too. Those of us in the choir agree with you, but the intended targets of our comments have intentionally deaf ears!
What I have noticed however is that lawsuits seem to be our best weapon against Biden and the rest of Democrats. It appears that lawsuits have been very effective if not tried in DC and when you can find a judge not appointed by Obama.

This letter will change nothing. It will be laughed at and ignored by the socialists/globalists in power. What is happening is not an accident by people too stupid to know what is going on. It is a planned take over of the world by Satanically driven people who are Godless, evil globalists. They have no human emotions of feelings for other humans. They are prepared to kill anyone or anything to get to the completion of their agenda by 2030 and preferably sooner. All that is happening is prophesied in the Bible. Nothing will change the outcome. After giving some thought to Tucker Carlson’s show last night about us not being able to win a conventional war with China it sounds like the Biden Administration could be thinking about hitting the nuclear button. Donald Trump told China and Russia during his administration that his button was bigger and it worked. The world we seem to be living in today seems to think we can have a nuclear war and then just go on about our business. If it killed 95% of the world population, if the rich people that actually run the world can survive, they would probably think that would be a good idea. Joe Biden and his administration has surely shown us all, republicans and democrats alike, that they don’t care for their fellow Americans. At this point I don’t put anything as being too wild or out of the question for this administration, whomever they are.
This makes sense if you believe he is misguided or so impaired that he doesn’t realize the damage. But the Great Reset involves great pain to move us to a government-controlled dictatorship, just like China. That’s what the “smart people in the room” want, as they see themselves as our betters, only worthy of subjugation. Sure – Biden doesn’t really understand it, but he’s on board as long as he can retain all his money. He just doesn’t care about any of us and will do what he is told to keep the job he so long sought, even after it is clear he can’t do it. Why did the powers that be hate Trump? In the 19 months that President Biden has been in office he has managed to reduce my net worth by 20%. It took me a working lifetime to accrue my net worth in the 60 working years that I had. Of course it took that long because I was growing and supporting my family, which included, housing, clothing, feeding and educating them, while attempting to be a good father, a good employee, a good soldier (20 years Army Reserve) and a good citizen. I did not cheat on my taxes, steal from my employer or take advantage of my clients while in public practice.
It is doubtful that Mr. Biden and his felonious offspring and associates will eve be prosecuted for their malfeasance.
