After Cancelling America’s Keystone XL Pipeline, Biden Approves Russian Pipeline To Germany

Pipeline

After canceling America’s Keystone XL Pipeline and killing thousands of jobs on his very first day as President, Joe Biden’s administration recently approved the construction of the massive Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russia to Germany.

Back in 2019, President Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 into law. The bill placed sanctions on the company that laid down pipes for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, effectively halting construction. To quote Trump, “We’re protecting Germany, we’re protecting France, we’re protecting all of these countries. And then numerous of the countries go out and make a pipeline deal with Russia where they’re paying billions of dollars into the coffers of Russia.”

With Biden now in control of America, he has decided to abandon Trump’s attacks against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and provide Russia with a massive geopolitical victory. On May 19, 2021, Biden’s State Department announced in a report to Congress that the U.S. will be lifting the sanctions that Trump placed against Nord Stream AG, the company in command of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

With the completion of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline certain, Germany will be near fully dependent on Russian energy, receiving up to 110 billion cubic meters of natural gas through the pipeline each year. These 110 billion cubic meters of natural gas represent nearly 100% of Germany’s current annual natural gas consumption.

The move marks a complete reversal of comments that Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken made at his Senate confirmation hearing in January. When asked about the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, Blinken told senators that he was “determined to do whatever we can to prevent that completion.” Less than five months later, Blinken’s State Department is approving the very pipeline that he previously promised to prevent from being completed.

Biden’s recent approval of a massive pipeline that is beneficial to Russia comes as countless Americans are suffering by being forced to pay ridiculous energy prices. Since Biden was inaugurated on January 20, 2021, average American gas prices have increased over 25% to the highest levels in over six years, and monthly inflation has increased over 250% to the highest levels since the Great Recession.

While Russia gets to be energy independent and enjoy the privilege of exporting billions of dollars worth of their natural resources to our allies thanks to Biden’s administration, Americans are forced to suffer and import more of their energy. Furthermore, if pipelines are supposedly inherently bad and Biden feels the need to halt construction of them in America, why would he approve of a much larger pipeline to go through multiple countries?

Biden’s decision to lift bipartisan sanctions on a Russian company so that Russia can control more of the global energy infrastructure after canceling a major U.S. pipeline with an array of benefits on his first day as President should be universally condemned. This move is just another example of Biden’s transition away from Trump’s policy of “America first” to a new policy of “America last.”

Another great indication that our current country’s leadership are just pawns being used by worldly forces that want to bring this country to its knees and destroy her.

Old news! The Biden administration dropped the U.S. objection to this pipeline on May 25th and the story was well reported by most of the few actual news organizations still out there.

It would be helpful to those members who seem to rely solely on AMAC for their news (why that is a question for another day), if you would be far more timely in reporting these issues. Since AMAC largely just copies articles from other sources, that should be a reasonably easy thing for AMAC to accomplish. What little editorial content you tack onto the end the actual story is certainly something that can be done in a few minutes. Just a thought, if one of the goals of AMAC is to have a well-informed membership base. This is what is known as constructive criticism, so you can be more responsive to your members.

Germany is in favor of the Russian pipeline.
This is not our problem. We have enough problems with the most corrupt politicians and dishonest two party political system in our history. We still have American troops in Germany, (70) years. Maybe we should defund our military.

I truly pray that America wakes up to the damage that has been done to our country by this administration and that it won’t be too late to reverse that damage.

Cancelled the Keystone pipeline and then supports the Russian pipeline, sounds like an impeachable offense, especially if the Biden family profits financially.

Funny how the Democrats kept saying President Trump was a Russian agent yet they say nothing about Joe Biden deal with the Russians. I guess we now know who is the real guilty of Russian collusion and who is the real Russian agent.

I’m not surprised by this move! Biden’s administration appears to be interested in providing Americans with handouts. If anyone with half a brain sat back and read about Biden’s squashing of a minimum 100,000 AMERICAN JOBS they would realize with this one move it’s absolutely shocking! ANYONE voting for these two job killing ANTI-AMERICAN PRO COMMUNISM individuals I’m certain nobody would have voted for them except for the weak and lazy!
We need Trump back in office so that he can continue working to MAGA!

Biden did EO on first week must have been a campaign promise to someone ow why was this top priority. Biden needs to stop knee-jerk reactions against our energy independence & American jobs & come up with a realastic plan & not just pick a year when there are no cars.

I have read several times that Russia gave him money, so they could do this.
The same thing happened with the Iran deal and some Iranian has a list of the names of all of the people that were involved.

Parker Bono of AMAC, spot on assessment of the current FAUX administration. Whatever they state, assume the opposite…The current FAUX administration provided for Russia & took the livelihoods away from over 40,000 Americans in his 1st day in office…Biden’s 1st day in office should have been the WAKEUP call where everything would be heading in our country… Lest we forget the former Moscow mayors wife’s payment, i.e. millions of dollars to Hunter Biden with a healthy slice going to the ” Big Guy “… This is called PAYBACK compliments of Biden on the taxpayers dime…
The writer is correct, we have gone from America First, to America Last & it is by design folks…
Time for the tyrants REMOVAL, henceforth… :~(
God bless America…
