The AMAC Foundation continues its four-part educational webinar series, “Social Security in 2026: Changes, Benefits and Insights,” with Session 2: Receiving Benefits on Thursday, February 19 at 12:00 PM ET.
Following the series kickoff, which explored what’s new for Social Security in 2026 and how 2025 changes affect 2026 decisions, this second session dives into the fundamentals of collecting Social Security benefits. Presented by AMAC Foundation’s Social Security Advisory staff, the session will provide an introduction to:
- Types of Social Security benefits and who is eligible
- How benefits are earned over the course of your working life
- When to start collecting benefits — and the key factors that should shape that decision
- How continued employment affects benefits for those still in the workforce
Whether you’re planning for retirement, recently retired, or helping a family member navigate the system, this session delivers essential knowledge to help you make informed decisions.
Each session in the series stands on its own, so don’t worry if you missed Part 1 — you can sign up and watch it at your convenience. The series continues with Session 3: Understanding Types of Benefits on February 26, and wraps up with Session 4: SSA Insights on March 5.
