For more than a decade, Democratic party politicians have escaped accountability for their conduct through a series of favorable actions taken by other Democrats and members of the government.
The party has accomplished this in several ways while weaponizing the government against Republicans – particularly President Donald Trump – at the same time.
Presidential pardons
The easiest avenue to avoid potential prosecution is through presidential pardons. President Joe Biden took this a step further by providing advance pardons to certain political figures who were likely to be the subject of investigations once a Republican president entered office.
The most well-known example is Biden’s own son Hunter, who was convicted on federal firearms charges and pleaded guilty to tax offenses. In the closing days of his presidency, Biden pardoned his son not only for the crimes he had been convicted of and pleaded guilty to, but any crimes he “may have committed or taken part in” between January 1, 2014, through December 1, 2024. Biden had repeatedly said he would not issue a pardon for his son, but went back on his word.
This was not the only pardon of its kind from Biden. Around the same time, he issued similar pardons for former NIH director Anthony Fauci, other members of Biden’s family, and anyone who investigated the January 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol, most notably U.S. Sen. Adam Schiff, who has been accused of approving the leaking of classified information to smear Trump, Just the News previously reported.
Ignoring the letter of the law
On July 5, 2016, then-FBI Director James Comey cleared Hillary Clinton of criminal wrongdoing for using an unsecure and private email server to transmit classified information. Even though the law said intent is irrelevant, Comey claimed otherwise, saying he found no intentional misconduct and therefore would not charge Clinton.
“[A]lthough there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case,” Comey said at the time.
He gave his speech shortly after then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with former President Bill Clinton on a Phoenix tarmac.
Letting the statute of limitations run out
When the IRS tried to investigate Hunter Biden’s failure to pay taxes, they were obstructed from accessing evidence, Just the News previously reported. IRS supervisory criminal investigative agent Gary Shapley told Congress in 2023 that the FBI had testimony and text messages that showed Joe Biden likely met with Hunter Biden’s Chinese business partners, but was shut down from investigating.
“Based on guidance provided by the prosecutors on a recurring basis to not look into anything related to President Biden, there is no way of knowing if evidence of other criminal activity existed concerning Hunter Biden or President Biden,” Shapley testified.
In the matter of Hunter, Shapley and another IRS agent, who were later granted whistleblower status, said they had compelling evidence that Hunter failed to pay taxes for years, but were blocked from further investigation. The statute of limitations was allowed to expire on any charges Hunter might have faced for those crimes.
“It was a conscious decision by DOJ to let that run,” Shapley testified. “They could’ve had them extend ’14 and ’15, but they said no […] Letting a statute of limitations expire in an active criminal investigation is not normal.”
Activist judges dismissing cases
In November 2025, Judge Cameron McGowan Currie – a Bill Clinton appointee – dismissed legal cases against Comey and former New York Attorney General Letita James, arguing that Trump’s appointment of Lindsey Halligan as interim U.S. attorney was unlawful, PBS reported.
Another federal judge – Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge Lorna Schofield – also dismissed subpoenas against James issued by the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York for the same reason, Just the News previously reported.
In a similar fashion, grand juries in overwhelmingly Democrat jurisdictions have also declined to prosecute Democrats, including a grand jury in Alexandria, Va., and Norfolk, Va.
Conversely, grand juries in heavily Democratic New York City indicted Trump on 34 felony counts for payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels after she alleged an affair with the business mogul prior to the 2016 election. The alleged crimes Trump faced were misdemeanors, but Democrats in the state elevated them to felonies by claiming the “hush money” constituted an unreported campaign expenditure.
A New York state jury also determined that Trump defamed E. Jean Carroll by defending himself against her uncorroborated accusations of rape. That same jury determined Trump did not rape Carroll, but still claimed he sexually abused her, even though no evidence exists to support her claim and Carroll claims to not even remember the year the alleged incident took place.
A slap on the wrist
In rare cases, a Democrat will face punishment for weaponization of the government, but it more often than not will be minor.
Kevin Clinesmith, who pleaded guilty to falsifying a document used to continue spying on Trump’s 2016 campaign, faced five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. He ended up receiving one year of probation and 400 hours of community service.
The judge in the case, James Boasberg, argued that he didn’t believe Clinesmith meant to deceive when he purposefully altered an email showing that former Trump aide Carter Page had worked with the CIA. Clinesmith removed that information, making it appear as though Page had no reason to engage with anyone from Russia, fueling the federal government’s investigation into Trump’s campaign.
“Mr. Clinesmith likely believed that what he said was true,” Boasberg wrote in his ruling, adding, “I do not believe he was attempting to achieve an end he knew was wrong.” The judge claimed that “it is not clear to me that the fourth FISA warrant would not have been signed but for this error […] even if Mr. Clinesmith had been accurate about Mr. Page’s relationship with the other government agency, the warrant may well have been signed, and the surveillance authorized.”
Biden was “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory”
When it was discovered that Joe Biden, as vice president under Obama, kept classified documents in his garage at his home and shared them with an author, he avoided prosecution when Special Counsel Robert Hur said a jury was unlikely to convict. It “would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness,” Hur wrote in his decision, Just the News previously reported.
“Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur added.
Conversely, Trump was indicted for storing classified documents at his Florida resort, even though as president he had the authority to declassify those documents.

Democrats always a democrat. Is it any wonder they’ve mastered the “get out of jail” card? Presidential pardons never benefit ordinary people, rather their minions, family and friends. This traditional “look the other way” is their political way to tell common people their laws are just guidelines and never meant to apply to them. Break one and see.

If Government officials, especially those elected by the citizenry, can choose the laws that they will follow and be held accountable to, then Americans should be allowed to announce, in a court of law, before a judge, that they choose not to be accountable for their actions or inactions. We are either a country of laws, or we are not. It starts with those We the People elect to represent us and make and enforce laws, as well as the Justice System.
The democrats can do anything but President Trump is hated so much he can’t do nothing. He is keeping Americans from voting. That is bad. Because he wants everyone to show an ID? Wherever you go, you have to show an ID. To board a plane, rent a car, get a wheelchair at the airport. When you open an account or want to change an account at your bank, when you go to any sporting event, when you see your doctor or go to the hospital. Visit a museum. There are not many people today that don’t have an ID. Even the illegals get an ID card in dem states. That way they can vote and they do. The Supreme Court really failed this country and the constitution to let the Birthright stand. No one who was born in this country and went straight home who never contributed a cent in taxes or society here in the US has no right to any of the benefits this country provides. The democrats love it that the Muslims and communists among us are running for the House and state legislatures and city mayors and state governors. It won’t be long Sharia law has taken over and commit genocide. Biden started it by letting them into our country and supported them from day one. Any migrant who is worthy of this should be the one who I came here legally. Has to live here for 5 years before any social benefits can be obtained. Have to speak English in order to become a citizen. None of this giving the citizenship test in their native tongue. Mexico has that rule. Why are we giving CDL licenses to nonspeaking English people. They are a menace on the road. Does that square with having compassion for these people when they are killers. Like the criminals. What is the country doing for our veterans or the homeless and drug addicts living on the streets of our major cities. Nothing. But come here illegally these communist democrats fall over each other to give them housing an education, healthcare and most of all to get them to vote. That is what is wrong with America. Why don’t these communists go to the communists countries there are many where you can practice your policies. Oh yes there you are not allowed all the things you can do here. The Europeans who came here for World Cup soccer matches can attest to how good America is. Go you communist democrats and stop destroying this country. And let us patriot preserve the America the best Constitutional Republic in the world. Once destroyed we will never have another one.
Of course Democrats escape accountability. Laws do not apply to them. The corrupt judicial system and the media cover for everything they do. In fact when they do things that are morally wrong, they achieve higher status in the party and usually get an anchor position on the liberal mainstream medium when they retire. Did you have to consult captain obvious before you came up with the conclusion that they escape accountability?
If only we had a trustworthy media. AMAC and a few others, are so precious. Half our country has no idea these accounts. To me, the most awful, is the special counsel, HUR. Is he an idiot, or complicit in the obvious crime of taking documents from the area, no one is allowed to do. The classifieds were found in his garage, what more evidence do you need.
Former President Trump’s home was raided, and he as president had the right to remove documents. Talk about tax evasion, I wonder that “we th People” still abide by the rule of law and pay our taxes. Many in the government and IRS do not, we’ve learned.
The decisions being released today will be a determining Factor as to whether or not the Supreme Court is going constitutional.

A long time ago, I used to vote straight Democratic Ticket. I fell for the lies they would tell every time a General Election was approaching. But the day came when I began to watch what happened after the Election. And I began to feel uneasy, like the things they bragged about and promised during their speeches and campaigning never seemed to materialize. In fact, many of those promises were rising up in the next campaign. But now they said that the people must vote for them again so that they could fulfill those empty promises.
I finally came to the conclusion that they lied, again and again, they continued to lie to the American People. And those who were not paying attention continued to vote them back into office. Everyone knows who they are and the lies they told.
The big question here is how can people not ask why. When will people stop and really look at the Democrats who lie to them over and over and over again.
The next time Bernie tells you that Socialism is good for America, I just hope someone asks him if he intends to give up his wealth and extra homes for the good of the Socialist Party. Ask him who would be in control of his bank account and his property.

Based on the facts that most of the Democrats got political pardon prior to the presidential election, where Donald Trump became president, shows they knew there was criminal charges coming therefore, the pardon was the only way they could do that, and most of it was done by auto pen!
What are miscarriage of justice for the American people who were taking advantage of for four years?!
Let me tell you I think that the American people should be able to sue each and every one of them for what they have done to this country. I’ve never seen such treasonous acts in my whole life with my own government.
These are people who are working for someone else and not for us! The amount of fraud, the amount of illegals from open borders, the murders the rapes all of this could have been avoided had the Democrats not sold us out.
I pray that every day they lay their head down at night that they’re sleep is interrupted by all the dirty deeds, murders, rapes of children, trafficking, death from drugs & filling their pockets with our money; appalling… what they have done to this country.

Joe Biden DID sign the pardons for his son and any other family members like his brother who was involved in any Skullduggery, but the rest of the innumerable pardons were by the notorious Autopen and can and should be challenged. There was no way Biden would have had the time to do all those on the same day he was present at Trump’s Inauguration as reported!

I am sad. I used to believe in the sanctity of our government and some of our leaders. Now I am not so sure. With the decisions of today from the high court proves only one thing to me……. Some of the left leaning justices are being paid by another entity. If they are not then they should prove that they are not on the take. They are so political that they have become almost unimportant. If they are voting to tamp-down DJT than they are not as knowledgeable on the Constitution as they say. There should be no way that a president can pardon anybody for unknown crimes.
If they can pardon for unknown crimes, what’s to stop a president from pardoning a generic group of unknown people (for example, members of the DNC or California State politicians) for any crimes they may have committed? I mean, why not? You have unknown crimes, so why not unknown criminals?
And while Biden did limit the timeframe when those “unknown” crimes occurred to a specific time range, what’s to stop a president from pardoning someone for any crimes the may have or will commit in their lifetimes?
Pardons should be specific to one person and a specific already identified crime.

I read this article and with all that I have seen and devoured about the democrats,it still turns my stomach when I see what they have done and are still doing to destroy the real AMERICA for their benefit only.I see that Judge Boasberg is mentioned above,WOW,I can’t believe that he has worked himself around this.What I have seen about him in the present shows me that he is still at his old antics.GOD save us from the democrats and their agenda,if GOD won’t,we may have to.
