When President Donald Trump returns to Washington this evening, he has every reason to feel like a conquering hero. The 47th president’s first foreign trip, with stops in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), established a new paradigm in U.S.-Middle East relations and continued Trump’s astonishing record of success at securing economic investment in America.

The most significant agreement Trump negotiated on the trip will see Qatar invest $1.2 trillion into the United States. This deal includes the small nation purchasing $42 billion in weapons from the U.S., $96 billion in Boeing jets, and fulfilling several more billion-dollar agreements on workforce development, defense technology, and remotely piloted aircraft.

Trump also negotiated an agreement with Saudi Arabia that will see the Middle East’s second-largest economy invest $600 billion in the United States. This includes $142 billion for military equipment and services, $80 billion in technologies from tech giants such as Google and Uber, and $20 billion for AI data centers and energy infrastructure.

During the final leg of his journey in the UAE, Trump negotiated $200 billion in investments. This includes $14.5 billion for 28 American-made Boeing 787 and 777X aircrafts and $4 billion in an aluminum smelter project in Oklahoma. The UAE presented the president with the nation’s highest civilian honor known as the “Order of Zayed” award during the visit.

But Trump’s Middle East tour was significant beyond just its economic implications. After four years which saw declining U.S. global power and influence under Joe Biden, Trump set a clear, undeniable message: America is back.

Trump’s speech on Tuesday in Riyadh was a particularly important moment not just for his presidency, but for the future of U.S. foreign policy in the region. In remarks that drew a standing ovation from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Trump excoriated the globalist and neocon establishment, pledging that the United States was getting out of the business of nation-building and foreign interventionism.

Trump noted that the remarkable modernization of Middle Eastern nations like Saudi Arabia in recent years “has not come from Western interventionists… giving you lectures on how to live or how to govern your own affairs. The gleaming marvels of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi were not created by the so-called ‘nation-builders,’ ‘neo-cons,’ or ‘liberal non-profits,’ like those who spent trillions failing to develop Kabul and Baghdad, so many other cities.”

“Instead, the birth of a modern Middle East has been brought about by the people of the region themselves… developing your own sovereign countries, pursuing your own unique visions, and charting your own destinies.”

While in Saudi Arabia, Trump also met with Syrian interim President Ahmad al-Sharaa just a day after lifting all sanctions on Syria. Trump is the first president to meet with Syrian leadership since Bill Clinton in 2000.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt posted on X that Trump encouraged Syria’s president to “sign onto the Abraham Accords with Israel,” “tell all foreign terrorists to leave Syria,” “deport Palestinian terrorists,” “help the United States to prevent the resurgence of ISIS,” and “assume responsibility for ISIS detention centers in Northeast Syria.”

“We are currently exploring normalizing relations with Syria’s new government, as you know, beginning with my meeting with President Ahmed Al-Shara and Secretary Rubio’s meeting with the Syrian Foreign Minister in Turkey after discussing the situation with Crown Prince Mohammed,” Trump said at a summit with other leaders of the region.

Before the end of his trip, Trump also announced that the U.S. has proposed a nuclear deal with Iran that would keep the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism from acquiring a nuclear weapon. If Iran agrees to the proposal, the deal will potentially mark a historic shift in the relationship between the two countries. Trump has been discussing a new nuclear deal with Iran since returning to office.

Trump’s trip was so successful that even former Biden staffers begrudgingly admitted that they were “awed” by the president’s speed and energy. “Gosh, I wish I could work for an administration that could move that quickly,” one remarked.

What a contrast between the rampant incompetence and overt corruption of the last four years, where the United States was either dumped on repeatedly or played the role of a patsy, whose only purpose was to underwrite, with mountains of taxpayer dollars, every globalist fairy tale, and that of having someone in office that actually understands how to get things done.

President Trump may not have the personality of your typical double-talking and completely insincere politician that some people still seem to prefer, but that’s actually a major plus for the American people in terms of getting positive results. The results this week alone, with nations that the Biden administration either ignored, antagonized or let them steamroll over this country for four years, probably advanced the cause of some degree of lasting peace and cooperation in a region of the world that has been unstable for decades.

I don’t expect either the MSM or the Democrat Party, which is actually one and the same, to have the same view of course. Watching the various MSM networks and their endless parade of Democrat operatives, they either try to nitpick every single thing or they simply don’t report the news accurately and just go with the standard lies. They remain firmly fixated on endlessly repeating the same well-worn and worn-out message that President Trump and his entire administration remains “a threat to democracy” in some form or fashion at every single turn. It’s all the Left has left in their arsenal of tired, old messaging at this point to put on the air.

At some point, if this country is to have a chance of sustaining this positive momentum long-term, we will of course have to purge the Socialist / Marxist element that has become deeply embedded in this country. After all, the values of Socialism / Marxism are completely incompatible with the values articulated in the Constitution of the United States of America. To pretend otherwise is to ignore reality.

THIS is what the President of The United States is supposed to look like on the world stage. Even with the deliberate damage done to the US by Obama and Biden, we are seeing a complete transformation to America and THE world leader. Hopefully, people will be mature enough to be able to separate their personal feelings for Donald Trump, with his success and attempts at truly “Making America Great Again”.

Trump’s trip to the Arab nations showed the real Trump. A peace loving common sense person. Let every nation be their best self. Let us deal with one another in the products each country produces. Let us be respectful of each others borders. War never solves anything just death and destruction. Today’s weapons are a lot more lethal than your great great great grandfather’s muskets. He has a heart for all people all over the world and it showed. He didn’t go there and be a bully or like Biden a cowering chicken. He acknowledged the Arab states and gave praise where praise was due. Even the MSM got praise. This Trip was not only a Triumph for Trump but also gave us standing again around the world but here back home as well. The left will never accept what he did in just 4 days. It doesn’t fit their destruction of America plan. Too bad. Trump will triumph again and again.

Lead, follow or get out of the way. We have a President that is leading, American businesses that are following and democrats that should get out of the way. The Trump train has left the station.

What could have been had Papa Bush said to Kuwait I have what you want ,you have what I want want , lets make a deal. One can only imagine, unfortunately for all Papa Bush had a different vision of the world, consequences of which we see every day.

I actually hate to state the obvious … but I think that democrats securing the ‘win’ with biden in 2020 was maybe the best thing that could happen for America. Beside the fact of letting people on the left see how disastrous the progressive democrats were … they gave 4 years, for Donald J Trump, to plan the avenue for fixing what ailed this country (albeit amid continued hate, law suits, etc.). I think Trump wisely having experienced the mistakes of presidency 45 … in trying to please all sides, while he moved forward, saw his way in presidency 47, how to steam roll to success. Using his prior faults to overcome the attacks, and get done what needed to be done to get America Great Again. The War with the left isn’t over …. they will continue to be petty, as usual, but he is rising above their stupid little games, and showing the American people … what a President of this Republic is supposed to look like. I am even more so … proud to be a Donald Trump American.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the US just sold 42 billion dollars of weapons and 96 billion in jets to the middle east. Does this worry anyone but me?

that is great news as compared to our last president (i cant remember his name) LOL ! But when will we poorer people get some relief from these high taxes and extremely high cost of food, fuel, eggs, and everything else we purchase to survive especially trying to live on a limited budget. Yes i live in the most costliest state in the union N.J. we are being taxed out of our homes. cannot afford to live in this state and its getting worse. our electric company is planning to double the cost of electricity. got to get out of this state.

Sadly when President Trump returns he will be little more than a lame duck. The incompetent and corrupt republican Congress he helped to elect can’t pass the very clear agenda laid out in President Trump’s campaign (which they all ran on)!
They plan to stiff seniors by not eliminating the tax on Social Security and give us some lame tax credit, which few if any of us can use because itemizing deductions is not something most Senior citizens can benefit from. For some reason Congress now wants to throw a bone to the blue states and rather that encouraging those states to reduce the state tax burden on their citizens they have decided to have the Federal government pay that state tax by tripling the Salt Tax deduction. Insanity!
After these fools mumble and bumble around they may get something passed but from the looks of things, there won’t be enough in it for Seniors to get most of us to the polls for them in the midterms, let alone to put checks in the endless stream of envelopes they keep sending out for campaign contributions.

Lots on news media today regarding Comey post on seashells in form of 8647. Trump said today that even a child knows what 86 means. I grew up in Montana & when someone was 86’d from a bar , it meant that they were thrown out & told not to come back. Does everyone else have an opinion on what 86 means & it probably depends on where you are from.

The future will tell us whether this is historic or not. Personally, especially with Qatar, I will take it all with a grain of salt. I have seen for years how THEY play nice and work behind the scenes to undermine us. Their recent antics with Hamas prove that. As far as the Saudi’s, they are glad to buy plenty of weapons, but never have done anything positive with them as far as Iran or the rest of the area. In Yemen they definitely dropped the proverbial ball

Sounds positive, but I hope that USA does not allow foreign countries to buy & own land here. Noted an article this week that Greenland took back the mining permits & there must be a reason. Article said mining companies in Greenland are mostly from Canada and Australia & makes the point on the small part of mining exploration permits that turn out to be economic mines.

Absolutely outstanding foreign policy by Trump. USA out of nation building.
However, a caution. Foreign investment of this nature needs to be accepted with caution. Money brings power. And power corrupts.

What a win for America! Unfortunately the MSM can only manage to report “possible” increased prices because of tariffs. They can’t say anything positive and tell people that things will take a while to shake out. The future is bright and would be brighter without the Marxist MSM. I for one am sick of their garbage they call journalism.

OOOHHHH………..I just love the way Trump removed all sanctions from Syria and praised to Allah the new “leader at gunpoint”, Ahmad al-Sharah. Does anyone recall how this “good looking man” as Trump described that scumbag, that this Al Quida terrorist (who now wears a high dollar suit probably lifted off the body of someone in the Assad regime he cut the head off of), had a 60 MILLION dollar bounty on his head placed there by our own FBI not THREE MONTHS AGO. The man is a terrorist and Trump is playing footsie with the creep. Explain that Donald, please if it won’t interrupt one of your trips to provide oral sex to the green clad Nazi in Ukraine.
What the hell are you doing President Trump? Certainly not what you promised during your campaign. But, to heck with that right, you can’t run again so to heck with the people!!
