As the new year gets underway, AMAC Action’s nationwide Army of hundreds of thousands of engaged patriots is already mobilizing, ensuring that informed citizen voices are active as legislative priorities take shape in Washington and across the states.

AMAC Action Member Advocates receive timely action alerts, invitations, and updates throughout the year—this brief outlines what that engagement looks like.

At the center of that engagement is the AMAC Action Member Advocate program, which connects members directly to the organization’s ongoing advocacy efforts. Member Advocates choose to stay closely informed and respond when action is needed—particularly at the start of the year, when policy agendas are being set, bills are being introduced, and citizen input can have the greatest impact.

AMAC Action Member Advocates play a vital role by staying informed, participating in timely calls to action, and engaging in advocacy opportunities aligned with the issues that matter most to them. Participation is flexible and designed to fit individual interests, availability, and level of involvement.

As an AMAC Action Member Advocate, you will:

  • Receive action alerts and advocacy updates on key federal and state issues
  • Stay informed through the AMAC Action monthly newsletter
  • Receive invitations to all AMAC Action state chapter meetings
  • Be invited to exclusive monthly AMAC Action engagement and empowerment seminars
  • Participate virtually or in person, depending on the issue and opportunity

Why Early Engagement Matters

Legislative priorities are often established early in the year. Member Advocates help ensure that citizen input is heard when decisions are being shaped—not after they are finalized.

With a new Congress, new legislative sessions, and new challenges already underway, early engagement matters. The Member Advocate program provides AMAC members with a direct connection to the advocacy process—helping ensure that citizen input can shape outcomes, not simply respond to them.

The start of a new year brings renewed opportunity to stay informed, get involved, and stand up for the principles that define our nation—together.
