HSAs encourage personal responsibility, promote transparency in healthcare spending, and help ensure that patients remain at the center of the system. These principles align closely with our organization’s long-standing commitment to limited government, market-based solutions, and individual freedom.

The Honorable Aaron Bean
4th Congressional District of Florida
2459 Rayburn House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Representative Bean,

On behalf of AMAC Action, the advocacy affiliate of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), with over 2 million members nationwide, we write to express our strong support for HR 7681, the “HSA’s For All Act.” As a conservative seniors organization committed to protecting the financial security and healthcare freedom of older Americans, we believe this legislation would move the country towards a more affordable, patient-centered healthcare system.

America’s seniors are among those most acutely impacted by rising healthcare costs. Many live on fixed incomes and face difficult choices between medical care and other essential needs. Expanding access to Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) will provide a practical and proven tool to help individuals better manage these costs, plan for future expenses, and maintain greater control over their healthcare decisions.

We strongly support the bill’s provision to decouple HSAs from high-deductible health plan requirements. This commonsense reform will open the door for millions of Americans, including those enrolled in employer-sponsored and ACA plans, to take advantage of tax-advantaged savings for medical expenses. Greater flexibility and broader eligibility will empower individuals, not bureaucracies, to make the healthcare choices that best suit their needs.

HSAs encourage personal responsibility, promote transparency in healthcare spending, and help ensure that patients remain at the center of the system. These principles align closely with our organization’s long-standing commitment to limited government, market-based solutions, and individual freedom.

Policies like the HSA’s For All Act that expand consumer choice and incentivize smart healthcare spending are key to restoring affordability. Thank you for your continued commitment to improving the lives of seniors across the country.

Sincerely,

Andrew J. Mangione Jr.
Senior Vice President
