Election Integrity Spotlight: on Vulnerable Voters

One of AMAC Action’s great partners in the fight for election integrity is the Election Research Institute. The Institute recently released a paper providing evidence of voter fraud targeting the most vulnerable of our population, senior citizens.

Back in 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) instructed nursing homes to interpret a federal rule so staff could assist residents in applying for absentee or mail-in ballots, or completing a ballot. This rule led to bad actors hijacking the votes of nursing homes residents. But it gets worse.

The Biden Administration put the COVID-era regulations on steroids when it issued an executive order mandating that every federal agency, including CMS, partner with Biden-approved non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to conduct get-out-the-vote efforts. Because CMS controls the flow of federal dollars to nursing homes, to the tune of $100 billion a year, facilities had little choice but to comply.

The Election Research Institute lays out four separate examples where nursing home residents have become victims of voter fraud schemes since the initial CMS rule change in 2020:

  • A social worker was charged with 134 felony counts involving election fraud for unlawfully registering residents.
  • A resident who was labeled “not capable” upon admission to the nursing home in May 2020, voted for the very first time despite being bedridden and unable to speak.
  • A 91-year-old woman who had not voted for 30 years was shocked to find that for the 2020 election, the county election office received and counted a ballot in her name.

If you have a loved one in any type of nursing home facility, speak with the director of the facility and ask them how they are protecting their residents from this kind of election fraud.

In the meantime, AMAC Action will remain vigilant as an advocate for reform of the rules that promote electioneering schemes

Harris/Walz Policies Will Rob Americans, Warns Ukrainian Congresswoman – Better for America Podcast, Episode 302

In this episode of the Better for America podcast, hosted by AMAC Action’s Andy Mangione, Congresswoman Victoria Spartz warns that Harris/Walz policies will “enslave the middle class” and lead to “socialism.” Spartz has seen these tactics before in her own personal experiences throughout life. She calls out the “hypocrites and liars” in Washington and exposes the dangers of reckless spending and foreign threats posed by the current administration. Fresh off a close primary victory, Spartz declares, “We need to do something very soon.” Tune in to hear her unfiltered take on the urgent challenges facing America.

“Bootcamp for Boomers” to Long Island on September 14, 2024

This crucial election-year gathering will empower Long Island patriots to help turn New York red. It will also mobilize AMAC members to help win critical Congressional seats on Long Island, which will be pivotal in deciding control of the U.S. House this fall.

Featured speakers will include former New York Representative and gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin, Just the News CEO John Solomon, AMAC CEO Rebecca Weber, former Trump trade policy advisor Peter Navarro, television commentator and columnist Tammy Bruce, Former Customs and Border Patrol Commissioner Mark Morgan, and other conservative leaders.

“AMAC’s Bootcamp for Boomers is a crucial opportunity to engage voters and equip them with the knowledge they need to have an impact in their communities,” said Tammy Bruce. “I look forward to being a part of this important event taking place in the heart of a battleground district and raising awareness about the most pressing issues facing our country.”

Volunteer as a Poll Worker

Poll workers are a crucial part of the democratic process and play a vital role in helping citizens cast their ballots. Amid continuing concerns about election integrity, poll workers are set to have an especially large impact this fall. Election law requires both Republicans and Democrats to work the polls in order to ensure an unbiased and bipartisan process and many jurisdictions continue to face shortfalls of poll workers.

Serving as a poll worker is an easy way to get involved in the community and help keep the wheels of democracy turning. Any eligible voter who is interested can sign up using the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s user-friendly Poll Worker Recruitment Lookup Tool to find their local precinct and sign up!

Stop Ranked-Choice Voting in Alaska

Thanks to the unstoppable energy of tens of thousands of Alaskans who rallied together last year to sign a petition calling for the end of Ranked-Choice Voting (RCV), we are now poised to be on the November ballot as Proposition 2!

Your enthusiasm and dedication were nothing short of remarkable, and the success of this signature drive has paved the way to take this critical issue to the ballot. Legislation and Policy Support

AMAC Joins Effort to Repeal the “Inflation Reduction Act”

The disastrous consequences of the “Inflation Reduction Act” can be stopped by repealing this ill-conceived law. AMAC Action, along with numerous other organizations, strongly urges Congress to repeal this ill-advised agenda before it does even more damage to energy affordability and reliability, household budgets, and the American economy overall. Legislators can take action now, such as through strong oversight and Congressional Review Act resolutions of disapproval, to help set the stage for dismantling the IRA’s “green” subsidies at the start of the 119th Congress in January 2025. Meetings

August 20 Chapter Meeting:  KS-04 Delegate Barb Schwerman hosted the meeting and KS-04 Delegate Don Henry discussed making a difference in making America better and recent activities with AMAC.

Praise for all involved with the great work done on the Alaska situation regarding rank choice voting . In the report the words “straightforward ” and “easily understood ” get right to the heart of the rank choice voting racket . I live in Pennsylvania but found this information about what responsible , intelligent ,right thinking Alaskans are doing to be admirable . The rank choice voting matter presents something that is as twisted as a cork screw. What is needed is straight talk that is a reflection of straight thinking — in Alaska and the entire United States of America . Best wishes for the ” Yes on 2 ” plan .
