Before I had to buy an Obamacare compliant policy I was paying $538 a month for a no deductible, no co-pay policy which covered all my medical needs. I am in good health and although this policy didn’t cover all medical problems I was confident I wouldn’t require any care for those illnesses but if something came up that wasn’t covered I have the money to cover them. At any rate, I had a policy which fit my needs even if I suffered a major health problem. The cheapest policy to be compliant with the ACA costs me $858 a month with a $2500 deductible and 50% co-pay until I pay out-of-pocket $6500 which doesn’t include my monthly premium. Thank God I turn 65 this August and will be on Medicare!
