I’ll never forget the road trip I made on my motorcycle in ’76. Nearly 4000 miles and 11 western states. Camped out all but one night when I was offered to stay with a guy in his cabin in the mountains of Colorado and all I could eat Elk Chili. The only rain I hit was in Az. a desert downpour. I had to stop because I couldn’t see. Az. Trooper lead me into a place called Two Guns, the clerk didn’t speak English or Spanish, I figured it was some Indian language. I hung around shared a giant bag of peanuts and a couple of sodas with him. It took 20 minutes for the rain to quit for good, then it was hot again. Death Valley had a balmy day of only 118 degrees F, so I goosed my scooter to 120 mph. Got home in time to start another semester at college loaded with Chemistry, Physics and my very first Calculus class.

1:55 with no help! We use to drive from CO to FL in our LTD. That was a hot ride for the 6 of us in the summer I remember.
Had a real adventure finding “ADVENTURE”!! 3:54. But I did not take a reveal. I guess I’m just too adventurous. Happy 4th of July everyone!
