I got a cup of coffee in Lake Charles once that bubbled when I put in the cream, then I pulled out half the spoon. Industrial strength, I guess.

Expresso is what I’ve always called and spelled espresso which I didn’t even know was an English word. Have never been corrected + perhaps is regional usage. I’m not French.
