2:00 good for a Tuesday!
An old buddy of mine, Bob Kearney, was a catcher for a couple of teams (AL). It so happens that he and I hit the same number of home runs in The Astrodome (zero). Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and I hit a combined 1469 home runs. Hank hit 755, Babe hit 714, and I hit the rest of them, how many did your Algebra teacher hit? This became an Algebra problem on their first test of the year his first year on our staff. He was a good math teacher, and his priority was doing everything possible to make sure the children learned math, with a good dose of baseball (the most mathematically analyzed sport there is).
3.14 My favorite sequence of numbers.
1:48 Better than usual.
1:23 What a score. Ever notice that about the time the first pitch is thrown, the flowers are popping open? And all those empty seats in stadiums start to fill up. There’s just something special about THE game. Love it!!! Stay safe out there and keep a watch out for foul balls.
1:33 I quit watching baseball when they moved the All Star game out of Atlanta, 51% Black and honoring Hank Aaron, and moving it to Denver, less than 10% Black.
2:19 Not too shabby considering I quit watching Baseball years ago when they went on strike…I quit watching Football when they became political and started kneeling and wearing slogan’s on their helmet’s.
