Never been to Washington DC to see the Vietnam Wall. Have to add it to my bucket list.

It is an amazing place to visit. I have been there once and I worked the traveling wall in my hometown reading the names. I was in the Navy with the Pacific Fleet from 1966 to ’68 my ship never went to Vietnam we just repaired the ships that had been there. The ship finally did go, because our new Admiral and Captain when I left to go home did not have their Vietnam medals. No, I went home to the mocking of former friends and possible new ones, because I still wore my uniform in public. now I have a sign above my desk at the VSO I volunteer for that reads, “The Price of Political and Bureaucratic Incompetence Is Written On The Wall”.

I think I see a 5th difference. In the picture on the left, there are 3 cracks in the sidewalk. Two are larger than the 3rd one. Only the two larger ones show up in the photo on the right.
