Your answer doesn’t seem to count the goalie. Raymond Summrs 9 months ago hockey, 1center, 2wingers. 2 defense, and a goalie, Six. tad 9 months ago “Slide down a narrow, twisting, and banked ice track headfirst on a small sled”, does not sound like a particularly smart thing to do. Kreu 9 months ago Fact: there are 6 players on the ice for each team in a hockey game. At even strength, teams use line combinations made up of 3 forwards and 2 defensemen during each shift. The sixth player is the goaltender, who remains on the ice for the majority of the game. Rita 9 months ago 7/10 from someone who has NO interest in sports. LOL! Rich D 9 months ago 7/10 I also think question 3 is wrong. Barry 9 months ago you can also pull your goalie in exchange for another player, so 6 is absolutely correct, even if you don’t want to count the goalie. D. E. Day 9 months ago The answer is 6 hockey players as Raymond said. If you pull the goalie, you can have 6 skaters. It is done frequently at the end of the game or when a penalty is called and the team that will receive the power play maintains possession of the puck. Sarah 9 months ago 8 correct – but I did a lot of lucky guesses!! DEX 9 months ago Ditto on item #3. Five skaters plus one goalie equals six. Fredrick 9 months ago 8/10 and I live in Florida. Gary 9 months ago 10 out of 10 Diane 9 months ago Yeah, 10 out of 10! Probably the only time I’ll score 100! Joe 9 months ago 11 out of 10 great VINCE 9 months ago 7 Danm 9 months ago 7 out of 10 correct. Mostly lucky guesses…I guess? Sam 9 months ago 7/10. Do NOT like snow, ice, cold weather, watching any of this stuff. But you all have a good time, hear? mike 9 months ago I know all sports have their place but, I once paid good money to see a prize fight and a hockey game broke out. Debby 9 months ago 5 out of 10. I know nothing of winter sports. I hibernate until the crocuses come up! Mike L 9 months ago Guessing Norway is good at the Biathlon, 10 Kilometers of cross country skiing with 4 stations for target shooting at 50 meters. Think they use .22 rifles now. Linda 9 months ago 4/10 – That’s the worst I have ever done on a quiz! I’m not a fan of winter, and it shows. Melinda 9 months ago I don’t do winter sports and don’t pay attention to them, so I’m surprised I got 4 right! Kreu 9 months ago 5 for 10, probably my worst ever. So, I’ll chalk this up to being my best “learning experience on an AMAC quiz” ever! 🙂 Go Steelers! Paul Lubell 9 months ago 9 of ten. I surprised myself. Only one guess. My miss was axel vs lutz. Bil 9 months ago 8/10 and I am from Kansas with no hills, mountains or much else. KateL 9 months ago 6/10. Not great, just okay. Loretta 9 months ago 8 out of 10 – 6 is right on a hockey team. Grew up watching the Bruins at the Boston Garden back in the days of Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito. Z. Cox 9 months ago Only missed the hockey team question. Loved having the Winter Olympics in SLC 2002! Learned a lot and was able to watch the biathlon competition! I hope we get to host them again! Carol 9 months ago I looked up the hockey question and the answer should be 6! More than 6 at a time constitutes “To many players on the ice”. So those that answered 6 is correct! Dianne 9 months ago 7/10 John Bass 9 months ago 7/10 Not too bad. I agree with Rich, Raymond and Robert. I should have 8/10 because of the goalie in the sport of hockey. ROBERT 9 months ago 7 of 10, but having read the first 2 comments, I should have had 8 of 10, if the first 2 responders are correct. wpDiscuz420Would love your thoughts, please comment.x()x| ReplyInsert Login Login Join Renew Member Benefits Newsline Member Benefits Advocacy Our Actions About Advocacy Issues Get Involved Weekly Update Annual Report Find Your Representative AMAC App Better for America Podcast Book Club AMAC Blog FAQ About Us Overview Our Team Our Stance on Key Issues Magazine Medicare Games Voice Your Opinion in AMAC Polls AMAC in the Media AMAC Action AMAC Foundation Social Security Guarantee Prime Directives Brief Prime Directives Details Sweepstakes AMAC Store Contact Advertise with AMAC Terms & Conditions Privacy Policy
