9/10…. I missed The Tonight Show’s first host. I think probably because I was too young to stay up and watch it! Can’t say that now! Lol Now I don’t watch it because it’s too left leaning!

“Hi-O Silver!” and “Just the facts, ma’am!” – two memorable quotes.

A fun quiz, and we actually watch many of these shows now, my teen age kids love the Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke and Perry Mason in particular, and we love that they do. Wholesome and interesting TV! The Golden Age of TV is a terrific term for that era. Now, it’s mostly trash and a waste of time….

Only 9/10. Not Jack Paar? Dragnet, and many other early TV shows, started on radio. I was hoping that the would “drag out the throw net” once in a while–that was a line frequently used in the “Fibber McGee and Molly” radio show. Many of the radio programs are downloadable for free. Got to go listen to “Crime does not pay!” Happy weekend!

Never have stayed up late to watch TV, so missed Steve Allen. Also hit wrong button on #2. I knew the Lone Ranger’s horse was Silver. Easy quiz for us old folks.

Wow, I think this was either my first or second 10/10. I’m not sure if that’s something to be proud of or not, given the subject matter.

9/10- not bad. I was too young to watch The Tonight Show, so I didn’t know that answer

It’s Howdy Doody Time, It’s Howdy Doody Time, Bob Smith and Howdy Doody say Howdy Doody to you. Let’s give a rousing cheer because Howdy Doody’s here. Or words to that effect.10/10

Born in 1960, I’m amazed how many questions I got right (9 out of 10). A testament to the quality of shows at that time, all the while acknowledging the main pastime of most kids my age (now 64 years young)!

How do i get a 12 out of 10? 12 right out of 10 questions. Huh? additionally, i only had 1 wrong. Wouldn’t that be a 9 out of 10?

Interesting that “Trigger” (Roy Rogers’ horse) was the same horse Maid Marian rode in 1939 Robin Hood movie.
