However my Dad was is the US Navy’s Airship Division (Lighter Tan Air Group) and said the Navy needed Helium for all the Navy Airships protecting convoys and searching for subs along the East & West Coast. I’m not a fan of parades in general, they don’t seem to serve a purpose except spending a lot of money for pure entertainment (which they’re not).
