8 out of 10. And we’ve driven most of it. All but the eastern end.

6/10. I should have done better. I’d like a nickel for every time I rode on part (or all) of Route 66!

One of the few times 10 out of 10. Glad it was multiple choice, though. I kept counting Nevada and getting nine!

6 out of 10! Thought I knew more. Did a virtual walk down a strip of this road a year ago!

I loved this week’s puzzles most of all. My husband and I were born a week apart in 1947; he was born in Los Angeles and I was born in Chicago. We feel that Route 66 is our way. When we were transferred for work to IL for four years he had a chance to see where I grew up. Illinois has a personalized Route 66 license plate and for those four years we splurged on the extra cost to have one. Now it is a souvenir of that special time we had there. Today is the only time I knew all the answers on the quiz…it will probably be the last. Thank you for these puzzles.

Here’s some more question in case AMAC would like to extend this….
11. What year was the corvette Martin Milner and George Maharis drove in the TV series Route 66
12. What was the most common product pitched in the Route 66 commercials?
13. What state has the longest section of the original Route 66 still in use?
14. How many of the Motels built along Route 66 before 1960 are still functioning today?
15. What is the shortest recorded time traveling from Chicago to LA on Route 66?

I was lucky. My parents took us on two train trips from Los Angeles to Chicago and back before we hit our teens. The trip pretty much ran parallel with Route 66 most of the way. That is how I learned about Route 66. That, and of course that great song. Fun times.

Well, I only got 5/10. Never been on Rt. 66. My guessing stunk. I knew where it started and where it ended. Sad!

7 of 10, but would have had 2 more correct if I’d gone with my first impulse.

8 out of 10. Not bad for someone who probably has never been on the road. I didn’t know its longest stretch was through AZ. Learn new things everyday. I guessed right when I selected 8 for the number of states the route goes through.
