Why do they have so many lousy questions and errors? I enjoy trivia that educates. Doesn’t anyone there proofread these before posting? Shouldn’t they replace the person that creates these quizzes? Ron 8 months ago Ican see that AMACer’s take their quizzes very seriously! 🙂 ROBERT 8 months ago Knowing Banff is in Canada, I almost picked it until I remembered that the Rockies also extend into Canada. My 5 of 10 were mostly guesses. Sam 8 months ago 4,401 FEET?! Hey, AMAC! Who TF gave us this BS?! Truth Manhattan 8 months ago 9/10. Who cares how many people visit RMNP each year? measurin' mort 8 months ago I did the math in my head and knew right away that the height in question was in meters. All I can say in response to that is, shame on AMAC for pandering to such nonsense. The rest of the world may be shackled to a ridiculous measurement system that holds us hostage to the number 10 but we have something much better, units that were calibrated to be useful, meaningful and so far as is possible, easy to remember. As to the quizzes in general, They are frustratin’ because oftentimes questions refer to obscure points of minutiae that all but require a guess. That’s no fun, and hardly an accurate measure of our knowledge of the subject matter. Melinda 8 months ago Only got 4 right, and I lived in Colorado for a time. Pathetic! But Mt. Elbert ( and Harvard) are both thousands of feet higher than listed. George Giovanni 8 months ago Mount Elbert is over 14000 feet. Not 4400. lilly 8 months ago 3:01 lilly 8 months ago 4/10 Kathryn 8 months ago 4/10. All guesses. I’ve never been to the Rockies and my score proves it. JKHero 8 months ago Does AMAC have a fact-checker? Denver is called the “mile-high” city. A mile is over 5,000 feet. The answer to question 1 has the tallest mountain in Colorado as being a lower elevation than Denver! Really ? Perhaps the answer to question 1 is over 14,000 feet rather than 4,000 feet ? Kyle Buy you some guns, and learn how to shoot 8 months ago Any of you live in Colorodo ??? I cant getover the first question. $ooo ft. I have been in the Rockies.
