9/10 I thought the book of Matthew had the best story of the Nativity.

Question 10 identifies the reason for Myrrh, used as embalming fluid. St Francis of Assisi constructed the first Nativity scene 800 years ago. Glory to God.

The gifts of the Magi correspond to Jesus’ threefold office of Prophet, Priest, and King: myrrh, a burial spice, for the Prophet who would suffer death (Luke 13:34); frankincense for the Priest, whose prayers rise as incense for His people (Psalm 141:2); and gold for the King whose kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36).
Soli Deo Gloria!

An unusual perfect score for me. It would be a shame if I did not know the story of the birth of Christ.

First time ever 10/10. Jesus is the “Reason for the Season.” Enjoy a Happy and wonderful New Year. Don’t forget Jan. 6 Epiphany or “Little Christmas” when the Magi presented their gifts to the Jesus.

I’ve been a Christian and have read my Bible for 68 years. I would have been ashamed if I hadn’t gotten 10/10.

Got 9 out of 10. Missed the last question. I didn’t know the gold, frankincense, and myrrh symbolized Jesus’ royalty, divinity and death. I thought it was wealth and prosperity. My clue should have been a 3rd word was missing so I shouldn’t have chosen it. Oh well.

Once again you ask a question that is totally incorrect. The Bible does not say the Wise Men followed a star to Israel, because they didn’t. Read Matthew Chapter 2 and read it carefully and for what it says, not for you expect it to say. The Wise Men were FROM the east. They had seen the Star IN THE EAST. Had they gone toward the star they would have gone in the wrong direction. After going to Jerusalem, NOT Bethlehem, to see the current king of Israel, Herod, and after learning the Saviour would be born in Bethlehem they departed Herod, at which time the Star they had seen in the EAST reappeared and led them to the HOUSE in which THE YOUNG CHILD and His mother were. After being warned in a dream to not go back to Herod the Wise Men went home a different way. At that time Herod ordered all children in the Bethlehem area, UNDER THE AGE OF TWO YEARS, to be killed. That was based on the time the Wise Men had told Herod when they saw the Star…TWO YEARS AGO! Jesus was approximately two years old when they arrived. And when the Wise Men saw the Star after visiting Herod, they rejoiced with exceeding joy. Why? They hadn’t seen the Star for two years!!!!!! Please, before you ask questions based on fantasy stories that have developed around the Birth of Jesus, read the Bible and ask factual questions.
