In question 5 I chose 1914 because Woodrow Wilson became president in 1913. What is below was found in Wikipedia under Mother’s Day:
“In 1908, the U. S. Congress rejected a proposal to make Mother’s Day an official holiday, joking that they would also have to proclaim a ‘Mother-in-law’s Day.’ ”
AND
“In 1914, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating Mother’s Day, held on the second Sunday in May, as a national holiday to honor mothers.”
So I got 8 right instead of 7.

4 of 10. Would have had 5, if I hadn’t changed my answer to #7. For #5, I fell into the same trap, keying on Wilson instead of “celebrated,” but I suspect some people celebrated the notion, long before 1908.

Being a mother has been the hardest but most rewarding task of my life. So thankful for my kids and the incredible adults they have become. 7/10 on the quiz.

5/10 which is typical of my score on quizzes.I’d rather have some other kind of puzzle than the quizzes which depend on too much knowledge of names, dates and locations. Just my preference.
