An ad blocker will make the screen blur when the results should come up. You need to disable for this site only. You can do it with the extension icon in the upper right corner.

7 of 10, of which 5 were guesses. Only two wrong guesses. My other miss was on the migration direction, which I thought was a sure thing. Boy is my face red!!!

9/10 I figured nectar would be non-existent for migrating birds in fall. Guess it’s those plants that come out in fall – huh… Should have thought about that before answering.

Is there something like “Wordle” and “Spelling Bee” on here somewhere? Currently, I pay the NY Times for the privilege of doing those as well as the Crossword. I’d much rather not have to spend money on that rag.

Question no 7 asked which birds migrate. The only option that doesn’t migrate is penguins. Not a fair question. Oh well

Wow, 10 out of 10. Had no idea I knew so much about migrating birds. (Of course included a couple of educated guesses.)

Ahhh, birds. God gave them command of all 3 physical dimensions, in addition to beauty, diversity, gracefulness in flight. What other creature has 2 legs and can stand on one leg, on a power line loaded with 4160 volts of alternating current, and scratch an ear with the other leg. I love birds, especially chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and almost all the edible ones. They are delicious. Until the delightful Wilbur and brother Oliver, mankind only had command of 2 dimensions.
I once read that Tom Edison observed that birds ate worms AND could fly. He tried an experiment with the girl next door. I’ll just say that she didn’t fly.
