Freda 2 years ago 8/10..remembered some from earlier in the week, some were lucky guesses..Well guys we have finished another week, hope it’s been a good one. Have a super week-end and a blessed day today. Raymond Summrs 2 years ago 9/10 that is a lot of islands. Robert 2 years ago well, Tom it seems you are placing your comments in the wrong place. These games are merely for fun and entertainment. Why disparage others and brag of your “degrees” that just about anybody can get if they had the desire. The polls are strictly opinions just as your answers are opinion only in spite of your education status. I find that the more educated often make things more complicated than need be or even actually are. But then that is just my opinion. Peggy 2 years ago 9 guessed wrong on number of islands FedUp 2 years ago 9/10 Probably cause I grew watching too many Godzilla movies 🙂 Rich D 2 years ago 10/10 Who knew? Gail Berry 2 years ago 9/10 One was a guess. Bad guess on number of islands. LOL Sam 2 years ago 10/10. I did 2 WestPac cruises and paid attention to books and articles I have read about Japan. All that and $2 would get me a cup of coffee in most places….. Gmama 2 years ago 10/10. I would love to visit Japan. Dianne 2 years ago 8/10 did better than I expected. Have a great weekend! Lila 2 years ago 8/10 more than I thought I would be getting. The islands and beef got me on that. Learning new things in my old age as I go along. mike 2 years ago Reading other comments I’m in good company not knowing there are 6K+ islands. Lana 2 years ago 9/10. The one I missed was what I clicked on 2 or three times. It was as if the game was telling me I was wrong. Danm 2 years ago 7 correct. A lot of lucky guesses. bob Wippermann 2 years ago 9/10. Pretty easy, but I’ve spent time in Japan. Only missed how many islands they have. Interesting note, many bars in Japan are segregated, if you are not Japanese your not welcome, but overall Americans are welcome, like here be friendly and the Japanese will be friendly. T. Anderson 2 years ago 8/10. Pretty fair guessing here. Melinda 2 years ago Only missed one, easy quiz. Who knew there are that many islands? Incredible! Kathy 2 years ago 8/10. Missed the number of islands and what kobe and wagyu is. So, I learned something. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Vito 2 years ago 8/10 – missed islands & the last one (beef) Mary Annie 2 years ago 8/10 this morning and 10/10 this afternoon. Guess I learned something! Barb 2 years ago 7/10 Coco 2 years ago 8 /10. Yep, I, also guessed wrong on the Island one. Who knew? That’s a lot! John Bass 2 years ago 8/10 I would have never guessed 6852 islands. Does anyone know if they’re all inhabited? Jim Shedd 2 years ago 8/10. I totally missed the number of islands which make up Japan and guessed six. I also selected Kyoto vs Tokyo as Japan’s capital city. The rest were easy. Joe from Las Vegas Nevada 2 years ago Never knew that Japan had that many islands. Is each one named? Tom 2 years ago Based on my own participation in your poll questions, and the answers that garner the most responses, it’s becoming increasing clear to me that the Amac membership is primarily a group mostly concerned with validating each others’ biases, as in “group think” or, “of a herd mentality”. I do feel very conservative mostly, but many issues (and people in general) are so very complicated that I find myself ever more frequently in the minority in picking my answer. Personally, I do not ever think that I have things figured out despite my undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc degrees, 36 years of marriage, and three grown children. It’s almost seems as if your readership just doesn’t want to think too hard or, maybe is made up of more ignorant or just plain stupid people that they always want to just pick the most strictly narrow point of view.
