Maybe those 2 years of French I took in high school several decades ago stuck with me. I did miss the one about the current Prime Minister. Never been to France but had a grandmother who was Cajun French from the bayou parishes in Louisiana. She spoke with a thick accent all her life. It’s French as well as American history. I wish there were a way to impart the sacrifice so evident at the Omaha Beach cemetery to all Americans. So many of the woke left destroying this country have no idea what it taken to give them what they take for granted.
