I grew up in Florida until I joined the Air Force in 1970, primarily in the Panama City area with exception of about four years in the Orlando area as a young boy. At least I did get that one (and all others) right as it was a 50/50 proposition and I figured that this dubious distinction might as well reside in a state as fatuous and pointless as FL. My dad was the Air Force stationed at Pinecastle, which was outside Orlando. Base is gone and is now housing. Orlando was a nice little town then, I know it is now huge and busy.
