Eucharist and communion are essentially the same thing. The denominations that call it communion frequently do not do so every Sunday. Those that call it Eucharist celebrate it every Sunday. Louis Thornton 3 years ago Pentecost is the day the Holy Spirit came but it was a sacred day from the time of Moses…in Deuteronomy 16:9 it is called the Festival of Weeks and was to be observed by all male Israelites every year (see Deuteronomy 16:16).
