Bob L. 3 months ago Question #2 – a first aid kit is a given, but a 357 Magnum would be the most important item. There is a possibility there may be a two-legged predator out there too. Question #7 – I would bring a topographical map. Sunrise and Sunset give you the general East/West directions and the map shows things like streams and other useful features. RIch 3 months ago 10/10 – The questions were hilarious this morning. I especially liked #3: “What should you do if you encounter a bear while hiking?” The choice, “Give him a picnic basket.” LMAO!!!!! Patty L 3 months ago 10/10…. I think this is the first time I ever got 10/10! I also enjoyed #3…. “Give him your picnic basket!” LOL. Martha 3 months ago I’ve never been camping but I got 10/10! KateL 3 months ago 7/10. There is no way I would stand and talk in a calm, loud voice to a bear. That would never happen. I would give him my lunch though. LOL Broccoli Free Zone 3 months ago I went camping in the mountains of Canada. My trip coincided with a spectacular planetary alignment. I was far enough north that the planets were in a line at about a 45 degree inclination with the horizon. The first to launch the awe inspiring setting sequence was Mercury. First it went behind a mountain, later it came out on the other side, then set behind the second mountain never to reappear. This was just the start of the parade. Venus followed suit, then Mars, Jupiter and finally Saturn. In all it took about 4 hours In all 6 planets were visible, Earth didn’t set, because it was under foot. This was the most magnificent display of God’s fire works display I have ever witnessed. The 4 of us took furniture to the western edge of the parking lot. For the last 20 years all my camping has been in motel rooms where roughing it is when there are less than 30 channels on the TV. John Bass 3 months ago 10/10 This was a tough one…more like comical. Z. Cox 3 months ago I miss camping. My spouse and I loved camping. We taught our children outdoor survival skills. If the world fell apart, we would survive. Gary 3 months ago The correct answer for question 2: a side arm and a rifle. Rod Logsdon 3 months ago 10/10. I’m not a camper, but common sense could determine most answers. Kay 3 months ago 9/10 also agree with Rich D lilly 3 months ago 9/10 Dan 3 months ago I can’t give y’all my results because the bear got me!! Pat R 3 months ago Easiest quiz ever, for me at least. Loretta 3 months ago 9 out of 10 – missed the moose question. Mary 3 months ago 10/10 Sam 3 months ago 10/10, though at my age my idea of camping is “Motel 6″…. Nancy 3 months ago funny nobody noted that two of the items for the question on items need for personal safety are essential and equally important. A first aid kit is needed, sometimes. But the flashlight is needed every night. I chose flashlight because it is more necessary unless you are accident prone or have children. Tom 3 months ago Nope, a first aid kit is not a personal safety item. It’s what is used after personal safety has been comprimised. A walking stick would be a very basic item AND a flashlight, unless you are a cat Kreu 3 months ago Got a 10, never camped, but some of these were obviously easy. Others were common sense, or guided by process of elimination with some outrageously poor answers. Still, enjoyable. Melinda 3 months ago First time I got 10 correct, but they were common sense. I live in the country and don’t go camping, but I know about wild animals. Colin Brown 3 months ago 10/10 Having spent most of our lives in wilderness Alaska my wife answered most of the safety questions with “take my gun out and blast ’em” ROBERT 3 months ago 10/10 for me, as well. Most of my answers were based on logic, rather than experience. My exuberance was somewhat deflated after seeing all the other 10/10’s SUSAN R 3 months ago I second guessed myself on the first question, or I would’ve gotten them all correct Peggy 3 months ago Camping is not for me…but I finally got all 10 right! Guess all my reading paid off??? Peggy 3 months ago 10/10 Fredrick 3 months ago 10/10 and my idea of camping is the hoiday inn. J. FARLEY 3 months ago 9 for 10, I spent my life in the outdoors, my father worked in the mountains and trained me how to survive. I learned how to start a fire by rubbing to Boy Scouts together. I missed the solar chart question, never got lost! I would go with my dad to his work in the Rocky Mountains and I would hunt and fish all day and get back to camp in the evening when he quit work for the day! Lana 3 months ago Shockingly 9/10. One question made me laugh hard.
