Willie Mays only stole 339 bases in his career as per Baseball Reference while Bonds stole 514 but most of Bonds stolen base came as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Paul Lubell 1 year ago A rare perfect score. I am a long time baseball fan and originally from New York, which helped. One vivid memory. My junior high school P A system came on in the afternoon (it was always in the morning) and the principal, Stella Sweeting, announced that Dan Larsen had pitched a perfect game. She was a straight-laced, all business administrator. Unbelievable! Elizabeth Buss 1 year ago Question 5 answer should be Barry Bonds not Willie Mays. The first baseball player to hit 500 home runs and steal 500 bases, while also wearing a Giants uniform, was Barry Bonds. He achieved this feat on June 23, 2003. per Google shandahon 1 year ago 8/10…pretty good for a girl!!!! mostly guesses though… hahahaha Vinny S 7 months ago All those years watching games and reading about the game paid off lol Lana 1 year ago 8 of 10. All lucky guesses except for the Pete Rose question. Not a big baseball fan. T Anderson 1 year ago 5/10….and I don’t like baseball and don’t follow it, so I thought that was pretty good. Mike L 1 year ago Question 5 is very misleading. … Barry Bonds had 514 stolen bases (lifetime) as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates (1986-1992) and SF Giants (1993-2007). Barry had 251 stolen bases as a Pirate, and 263 as a Giant. Barry had 176 homeruns with Pittsburgh, and 586 with SF. He had a total of 762 home runs in his career. Barry is the only player to have 500 stolen bases and over 500 home runs to date in a career, but not all with the Giants. Looks like AMAC has an error on Question 5.
