3/10 and 2 of those were guesses. The only thing I did know was that cricket is like baseball. Playing softball as a kid didn’t help me with baseball trivia.

7/10 Pretty good for someone who doesn’t follow baseball anymore. I quit watching years ago, after the strike.

9/10 – not bad for a casual fan! Loved the Field of Dreams game last night, it was magic! I didn’t really care who won..just really enjoyed the experience

only 50% today, stars!

So I though I’d brush up- for sure I’d failed at more if this was tested!
Although much is unclear, as one would expect of children’s games of long ago, this much is known: by the mid-18th century a game had appeared in the south of England which involved striking a pitched ball and then running a circuit of bases. “Base ball” was at least one name for this proto-baseball, although there may have been others. English colonists took this game to America with their other pastimes, and in the early 1800s variants were being played on both sides of the ocean under many appellations. However, the game was very significantly altered by amateur men’s ball clubs in and around New York City in the middle of the 19th century, and it was this heavily revised sport that became modern baseball.

3/10 Members of my family are fans. I am not – just occasionally watch games. I knew the first two questions – probably because I’m old. The 3rd one was a guess. Baseball is so America. I like it for this reason even tho I’m not a fan.

I obviously don’t know much about baseball (never have been a sports fan. I answered on 4/10 correctly.

Well, I got 6/10. I think is pretty good since I have not watched a baseball game in years.

Haven’t been interested in baseball since the first strike in 1972 – adults getting paid millions to play a kids game when the avg salary was $6,500

Twenty years ago I would have aced this. I don’t give a rip about any pro sports now, and I don’t miss it one bit. College sports are on their way off my list, too!

8 correct, and I haven’t watched baseball in years other than my college team. 30 players hit at least 487 home runs, no one stopped there.

Question 10 is a stupid question! Currently, NO player has hit exactly 487 homeruns. And the answer of Mark McGwire is wrong. He hit 583 homeruns in his career, according to MLB records.
