Until now… Your back to school quiz. What year was first public school founded in The United States? The answer… 1635. This would not be surprising from NPR and/or the majority of the media. This one takes no research—come on AMAC. We are better than this. Robert S. 2 years ago These quizzes are turning into a big guess fest. I prefer quizzes where each answer is related to the original question in some form. Not situations where the answer is 9% and the other answers are just other numbers without any relation to the question asked. If you did these quizzes the way I suggest, we all might learn some other facts about history and current events. With guess fests you learn nothing from your wrong answer and it wastes everyone’s time. Tish 2 years ago 2/10 ~ guess I shoulda stayed in skool . . . Dan 2 years ago Half right or half wrong depending on ones WOKENESS, I guess!!! Who knew how many words a average pencil could write?? More important who cares?? Hehehehehe Sheila 2 years ago 6/10 not too bad. That 60%. Sad Sack at the back of the pack 2 years ago Perfect score! I got every one WRONG. I would not have thought that likely, even when I was purely guessing at every one. Call it talent or a statistical anomaly or what you will. I do have to disagree, though, that physics is the hardest school subject. I am reasonably well versed in physics while even the word “trigonometry” has me quaking in my boots. Ron 2 years ago 4/10 – dismal. But then again, as usual several questions were highly subjective. For instance, the hardest subject. You don’t study physics until after you learn trigonometry, and I guarantee you most people who find physics hard would also find trig to be difficult. T. Anderson 2 years ago Had to guess at all and was not very successful at that….3/10. Laurel 2 years ago United States didn’t exist in 1635! Colin Brown 2 years ago How many words can an average pencil write? What a dumb question! Martha Henriod 2 years ago A lot of really obscure questions. Connie K 2 years ago What is the point of a quiz where all your answers are guesses? Who cares about most of the questions? I prefer a quiz that actually tests your knowledge. Cynthia 2 years ago 5/10 I really thought I’d be the only one who did so poorly. Kate 2 years ago I got the first 4, then bombed the rest. At least I knew something, but not much!
