Elder Abuse? I can’t imagine DIS-respecting our parents. God said if WE honor our Mother n Father, things would go well in our life. This is a commandment w a promise.
I hated my mom growing up, she was mean. But when I grew up, n she grew old something changed. I realized the lickens I got was for my own good. And today I’m grateful for the boundaries that were set for me.
Mom has become the child and we the adults. We all take turns caring for her today. I love her so much n soon one day we won’t have her. Spending as much time as I can, listening to stories of how they met etc… growing up etc it’s really nice.
I pray that science will discover a cure for Alzheimers/ Dementia.
