The proposals came nearly non-stop as Democrats attempted to take full advantage of their ultra-slim Congressional majorities to increase their power and force their version of America under a controlling, powerful centralized government on U.S. citizens.

Thanks to the dedicated, motivated, and engaged AMAC membership, the AMAC Action advocacy team was able to help defeat the federal takeover of our elections and pass election reform legislation in states throughout the country. AMAC members around the country consistently responded to our calls to take action and voice their support for free and fair elections. They played a huge role in preserving our sacred right to vote in addition to supporting and opposing other issues.

We anticipate the second half of 2021 to be just as busy as January through June was, and will again rely on the AMAC membership to provide us with the authentic grassroots advocacy necessary to preserve our liberties and push-back against the extreme policies of the Biden Administration. We encourage you to click on the button below and take a few minutes to read the 2021 advocacy mid-year report to review how your AMAC Action team fights for you and the ideals we all hold so dear to us.

Here are few examples of our advocacy victories:

  • In March, Kentucky AMAC members made over 100 telephone calls to the state Senate telling them to support H.B. 574 and ensured its placement on the legislative agenda. This comprehensive election reform bill was placed on the agenda, passed, and was signed into law by the Governor.
  • In March, April, May, and June, Arizona AMAC members sent 22,374 emails to the state legislature telling them to vote for election integrity bills and their support helped to get third-party money out of local election administration; stop inactive voters from automatically receiving ballots; prevent the changing of election deadlines; penalize non-compliance for cleaning up voter rolls; and enhance voter ID for early voting ballots; all of which were signed into law by Governor Doug Ducey. AMAC members also told the Arizona legislature to support a measure that bans Critical Race Theory funding for public employees. This bill passed the legislature and was signed into law by the Governor as well.
  • In April and May, Maine AMAC members sent over 324 messages to their state legislature in opposition to National Popular Vote legislation that would give away their electoral votes based on the national popular vote. AMAC members helped to defeat this measure which ultimately failed in the Maine House of Representatives when 20 Democrats joined Republicans in voting against it.
