The liberal media has predictably sought to downplay the GOP’s success in last month’s elections in Virginia and other battlegrounds across the country by claiming that the party in power in Washington often performs poorly in off-year elections. They even concede that President Joe Biden’s unpopularity weighed heavily on Democratic candidates.
